This is a must stop for many reasons. And the MAIN Reason being that 1 passport gets you tastings in 3 wineries and 1 brewery in just one place! This is a sweet spot for celebratory tours, trail events, novices and party people. Whether you are starting or ending your tour here, its is suitable for both. Passion Feet - described "For those who live life with laughter and abandon..." They also need to add "A sweet wine drinker's dream come to life". The tasting room is like a girl's dream walk-in closet of accessories. They also offer novelty items and a book club. Their wine labels are cute and sexy with names like Take Me Home, Nearly Naked and the very popular Scandelicious. Not my taste in wine, but if your friend is into all things sweet and girly, they will love. This is also where you purchase slushies to go. To me they are too sweet with a fake after taste contributed by the mix they use, but a lot of my friends like it. Stony Lonesome - described "For those who appreciate the finer things in life...clearly this is the only spot I do tastings in. For more mature palates, this winery offers a wider range of wines to make everyone happy. Even for the sweet wine drinkers. I really enjoy their 0 degree Riesling (11% alc, 0.5% RS), but for those who like it sweeter, it goes up to 3 degree, which would the their RS%. My other favorites are the Estate Reserve Gruner Veltliner 2013 and the Estate Reserve Chambourcin 2012. I picked up a few bottles on black Friday when they were 50% until 10am. Bagg Dare - described "For those who have more fun in a dive bar"...and so right they are. This is by far my favorite of the 4 spots aesthetically wise. Goods spot for fun group pictures. It's obvious that they have been salvaging funky items that make this tasting room look like something out of the backwoods of Swamp People. But first you have to cross the swamp like path allll the way "bagg dare" where you will find what it looks like a run down bayou house with a tin roof and all. This is the manlier, grungier and hairier version of Passion Feet. The guys pouring the tastings add very colorful wine descriptions. But with names like Ride'er All Night Blush, Skirt Lifter and Well Hung White, the puns write themselves. War Horse Brewery - described "One thing that the brothers agree on is a fine hand-crafted microbrew!". This is another nice spot for group pictures. Outside there are small war vehicles and patriotic pieces ti pose with. The tasting room also has a lot of vintage pieces to pay homage to our countries past. My favorite brew is the unique Riesling Ale. Malt decided to put a baby in Riesling and the most clean delishiz fruity aroma sweet nectar was born. They also make IPA, Wheat and Scotch ales, lagers and ambers. Though I normally do tastings only in Stony Hill and War Horse, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a good time with a group of friends. read more

We work this winery in every time we tour Cayuga or Seneca Lake wineries. It is fun and whimsical, not your run-of-the-mill winery/distillery (Also really great root beer and orange cream sodas by the way)! I am a wine enthusiast and tantalize the palette you will. There are sweets for those who prefer them, slushies for those hot days, and an atmosphere that has you coming back for more. My friends prefer the sweeter wines, which are back by the bayou, so I grab my glass of an earthy red and sit by the bayou shore while they partake of the back "shed". A must to experience. Really enjoyed the dry reds at Stony Lonesome and their sweet wines from passion fest (definitely our favorites! We bought two bottles from here). The cider from their brewery was good, and can't say we really enjoyed the Bagg Dare Wine- the ambiance was not great and the wine was so overly sweet it was hard to drink. Every time my boyfriend and I visit this place it's an amazing, unforgettable experience! Jimmy who works in War Horse is a fantastic bartender! He was there for our first visit in January and gave us a little tour, some background info on the whole place as well as educated us on the wines. During our second trip in March, he was still super helpful and didn't hesitate to cater to our needs. Three Brothers overall is one of best wineries on Seneca Lake. Going to Three Brothers could be a full day experience, depending on how you spend it. We love starting our weekend wine tours here! I have been coming here for the past few years and while it is great, I have been disappointed in a few small ways. The price for tasting has increased steadily the past few years, and they used to include a free wine glass. Last time we went they did not and I was bummed as I loved collecting them as memorabilia from our tours! Overall, it is a wonderful experience and the wines are great! You can spend an entire day here! There are 3 wineries, a brewery, wine slushie stand, and a coffee/snack shop. I had a great time but felt stressed because there is so much to do and I was with a large group of girls. Three Brothers was our first stop on a wine tour and we planned to spend maybe an hour there. This obviously didn't happen with all the girls and things to do! If I was to do it again I would try to allocate more time or go in with a game plan! That being said, I really enjoyed the slushies and beer. There are 4 places you can taste here - 3 wineries and 1 brewery. 1 winery and the brewery are all you need to see, the other two are gimmicky with sexual titles and super sugary wine that tastes like Mad Dog. You can buy a "passport" which you pay 8 dollars for 20 tastings, 5 at each place. Next time I would pass on the Bagg Dare and Passion Feet. Stoney Lonesome has nice Rieslings. The brewery was the best part, with great beer tastings and a once root beer. I wish they sold the root beer in smaller quantities than a growler. read more

A friend wanted to go on a wine tour a few months back for her birthday and I am so glad I trekked EIGHT hours to get there from NYC. We went in January so it was pretty dead but we were a pretty large party and the staff was able to keep up with all of us. Most of the wines are sweet which is perfect for me because those are my favorite. I still have dreams of me sipping the chambourcin ($14) and I really regret not buying at least 5 bottles of the skirtlifter ($14). It's actually my favorite wine and I'm hoping to catch it on a sale or maybe find a coupon lol. I didn't drink any of the beers at the war horse but I had some of the non alcoholic ale which was ok for me, I generally don't like beer. The staff was incredible, the drinks were great and you can't beat $12 for the tour. read more

Fantastic visit to this combination winery, brewery, and coffee café on Lake Seneca. There are numerous buildings on the property. We were hungry and I actually prefer beer over wine and my wife likes coffee. The coffee cafe' is where you head for food and she had a salad while I had the Reuben. They also serve the "Big Ass Pretzel" and yes, it is BIG! They use a passport if you want a lot of wine/beer options as you travel from building to building. I just wanted one beer with my lunch, so I opted out. We took our food and walked over to the wine building overlooking the vineyard and ate on the deck. Very nice. This place was very different than other vineyards we went to. I presume it is very busy on weekends with buses, tours, limos, bachelorette parties, etc. So it was noisy. We headed out the back and they have an very cool area down by the pond. It's kind of a swamp feel, with a large rustic building for more wine and beer, plus live music. This place may not be for the typical wine snob, but I suspect younger audiences will really like it and adventuresome couples in their 40s and 50s would enjoy adding it to the list of wineries to visit if you are doing a tour of several over the course of the day. Summary: Something for everyone, shouldn't miss this one! Wine: There is truly something for everyone here - dry, sweet, sparkling, white, red, rose, even wine slushees! (Within the same complex there is also a brewery and coffee shop for even more variety) Ambiance/View: Not much a view that I remember, but the "estates" is a very cool set up, with each winery and the brewery in their own buildings, but all kind of around the same center plaza. Stony is in a beautiful building, the walk over to Bagg Dare is beautiful through the trees, and Passion Feet is very well decorated. Although there were only a few people there when we visited, the large footprint of the estates seemed like it would be good at thinning out crowds in the event that they did get busy. Education: All of the tasting room staff seemed very knowledgeable about he wines and gave good tasting notes.They were also easy to talk to and ask questions too. Other: The story that we heard is that there was one guy who opened the winery and made 3 different styles of wines based on the personalities of his brothers: "traditional" style wines (Stony), sweeter wines (Bagg Dare), and more experimental/trendy wines (Passion Feet). read more

We moved to the brewery next (save this for last). The staff was impeccable. We went to the "Passion Feet Winery" which was distinctly not our scene and the wine selections were even less desirable. Ryan and Jimmy (Garcia) helped us switch our remaining tastings. They allowed us to move back to the brewery, skipping much of one winery and finishing at Warhorse. There is a list of all the wines and beer in the passport. You can keep notes on what you like and don't like The wines at Passion Feet and Bagg Dare are VERY sweet. If this is your thing you will be in heaven! Stony Lonesome was the winery I enjoyed most. They have drier wines. So many feelings about three brothers winery, so many. So here it goes. Came to Seneca Lake on a limo bus with 35 soon to be nursing graduates between the ages of 22 and 36. I cannot tell you how many vineyards shut us down because of our large group, our later arrival time of about 2 o'clock and the fact that we were considered a "young" bunch. We are nurses for goodness sakes, celebrating the end of a long academic year and soon to be graduation, just because we are in our twenties doesn't mean we are going to be slamming bottles of wine and cause a ruckus. Anyways, like I said, few vineyards gave us the green light. So I called 3 brothers the day of our event, literally while we were at a different vineyard because we had time for another stop and didn't want to head back to Rochester early. 3 brothers was very hesitant at first, but it was a Monday late afternoon and they decided to allow us to come. There wasn't a soul there other than our group, so I think we did them a favor. So in we go, there were many different tasting rooms so it was slightly confusing at first. The woman at the cash register asked for me and I approached the front. She explained to me that the tastings were going to be $15 a person and immediately my jaw dropped and I had a sense of doom come over me. I just redirected our limo bus to this vineyard and now they want to tell us a tasting is $15 after all of the other places were either $3 or $5. I was getting the eyes from my people who were clearly not down with paying $15. So I had to be a little forward and I said, "WHAT!" She said that's the cost of the tasting for all the wines. I said, we are looking for a $5 tasting I am not sure why this is is so expensive. She then explained that if we only wanted to do one tasting room with 5 different wines, it would be $5. Honestly lady, that should have been said right off the bat. Here are my thoughts about this situation, which rubbed me the wrong way. They were clearly dead on a Monday afternoon. They get a phone call that a large party bus is pulling up, they were trying to get as much money out of us as they possibly could and I thought that it was wildly distasteful. She should have presented all of the options instead of assuming we want the highest tasting package. Don't take advantage. It was unanimous, we went with the one tasting room tasting for $5 and we were able to choose which kinds of wine we were interested in. For example, I am a dry red drinker, so I paid $5 and was directed to one tasting room with all of the dry wines. For those who enjoyed sweeter varieties, they went to a different tasting room. I thought this idea was awesome. The vineyard was beautiful, the grounds were very well maintained and the tasting rooms were beautiful. I absolutely adored the young girl who was doing our tasting in the dry wine tasting room. She was outgoing, fun and knowledgable. She described each of the wines in detail and went down the lines bottles, giving us tastes of anything we wanted. It was definitely not a generous tasting pour compared to other vineyards I have been to on Seneca Lake. With that being said, we were given 5 tastings and she gave me at least 7. She was not very strict because we were buying bottles and that was exactly the way to be because her generosity allowed me to try several different wines I never would have been interested in and I ended up buying a bottle of Rose that was phenomenal and I am not a Rose drinker. This place had War Horse brewery attached to it, which was amazing because many of the people in our group favored beer over wine. The brewery was very cool, they had wine slushies with take home souvenir cups that were super cool. Their beer list looked fantastic and was definitely well enjoyed by the group They had various ciders. 3 brothers was definitely the best stop of the day and I highly recommend their wines! Most of the wines are sweet/white and the one brewery has some awesome unique beers on tap. Was not very impressed with their pretzel with cheese and mustard dip, kinda mediocre. Next time I'll try the pizza! Awesome spot for photos, highly recommend for a big group or a lil date spot. It's super close to Seneca Lake. This use to be our go to winery to take our out of town friends. We took family there a few weeks ago and it's just not like it use to be. The set up is so confusing. Some buildings you need to buy tickets at their welcome center, but others you can buy at the bar. They use to have a large shopping area. Now it is an empty room with tables. The employees didn't know to wait on us but another told her we needed to go to the welcome center. We went to get their great pizza for lunch but it's now gone. All they have are burgers. The sandwiches use to be so good with a large variety. So disappointed in the changes. Wont be back. read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Three Brothers Wineries. I understand how people could see the passport as difficult. Once an employee explained the passport I was okay with it. I think the only suggestion would be to have a sign of where the passports could be purchased. I went to all three of the locations plus the on site brewery. The wines are majority very sweet, but I'm okay with that. If you are more of a dry wine fan, this may not be the place for you. This is a great place for large groups with varying palettes. Sweet wine, extra sweet wine, decent wine, and enjoyable beer. For $15 you can buy a passport and visit the 3 wineries and 1 brewery. They all have their own themes. They have one classic tasting room, 1 pirate/party location that's a bit off the beaten path, a very girly tasting room with bubbly options, and the brewery that has a WWII theme - apparently after the grandfather of the family. I spent the most time in the brewery - played jenga, tried the brews. It was a great vibe. It's a great place to stop in have a good, non-pretentious time. DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience at a winery I have ever had. We rolled in about 1:30 and were trying to park our bus. Mind you, we were in a short bus (looks like a school bus but 1/4th the size, and there were 8 of us in total) All of a sudden this jeep comes flying behind us trying to cut us off and almost hits our bus. The security guard gets out and tells us we can't park here and we need to leave. Our driver said ok, tell me where to park and we'll go there. He goes, no, you need to leave, you can't stay here. Again, ALL WE WERE DOING WAS TRYING TO PARK. He told us it was a liquor board issue. Our response, ok, we'll leave and take our business elsewhere if you don't want it. Plenty of other places to spend our money. I messaged their Facebook page where they then said it was OUR fault b/c we ignored their security guard on the way in. Not quite, we never saw him until he was chasing us through the parking lot. They were sorry but hoped we were able to continue our tour. Yep, we did, we won't ever step foot in your place again and we'll never purchase anything you make. It was busy but, everyone, staff and customer, were in good moods, so that made it feel less crowded. I went to Three Brother's Wineries during the 2017 Wine & Cheese Festival. It surprised me. My 1st impression was that it was a tourist trap. It didn't look like the owners focused on anything but rather just multiple options to get drunk. I was wrong. Each place I visited had a unique style and taste. I was most surprised by the beer and cider. I really enjoyed the different taste profiles. I also want to compliment the bartenders who managed a large crowd flawlessly. I really appreciated that the owners of Three Brothers allowed people to try beer as part of the wine and cheese festival (didn't say anything about beer on the ticket for the festival). The only reason I cannot give the Wineries a perfect rating is that I would have like to see some more food options that weren't overpriced. It would have been nice because after 4 different tasting experiences I needed something to "absorb" my experience.
