So, we have been here a couple more times and I have been underwhelmed by their service and today was IT for us and Three Bs. The food here is pretty good and this sports bar feel is AOK. the kicker has generally been the table service. I don't know if they are just too busy for the number of servers or they have a training problem. Whatever the problem, if you are at a table, service is slow and spotty. Sitting at the bar is better but you don't always want to belly up. There are plenty other joints like this in town, so we will just go elsewhere. read more

The staff was friendly upon arriving however it's very small and I was not impressed with the food. Our table ordered nachos and fried pickles as appetizers and the chips for the nachos were stale. The pickles were cold. When our entrees arrived the food looked good, however, my shrimp tacos were super cold! Our waiter was nice but not really attentive. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Kingwood. We eat there at least once every 2 weeks and sometimes more often because of kids eat free night. They are busy during peak hours so keep that in mind, if you arrive at 7pm you might have to wait with all the other people who like to eat there. I read a review about the kids, it was probably mine running back and forth to get quarters because they love the game area. And leaving our 8yr and 5yr old at home is not yet an option, plus they are usually the one's that suggest it first, they love to eat there. We eat the chips and queso (or mushrooms are great too), My daughter and I love the cheeseburgers, my wife's favorite is the pulled pork quesadilla's, and my son loves the wings. Not a bad hangout, order pickup from there a lot. Lately some of favorite things no longer on menu, although has not been corrected on website menu, also seems people taking the order have no clue about the menu. Tonight was the third time in two weeks we've ordered take out for the family and it's been almost like we are bothering them and something has been wrong with order two out of three times. What a huge disappointment. I ordered the shrimp dinner for take out and it was over cooked and inedible. The shrimp was as hard as a rock and the whole meal was just GROSS! What a waste of money. Three B's Grill has become extremely popular since its opening in Kingwood. It definitely has a hometown hangout feel and family-friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately the food and service leave a little something to be desired. The pricing is fairly high for traditional burgers and sandwiches and the food is nothing to write home about. Service is fairly slow and I've had problems in the past with having my credit card being very overcharged after leaving the restaurant. Luckily, I had the time to go back the next week and have the manager correct this mistake. He was very sweet and even gave me a gift card to make up for the mess. There is definitely a lot of potential here, especially with its location and family-friendly yet bar-like atmosphere. read more

My grilled cheese sandwich was cold, and the side of canned French green beans made me gag. They smelled and tasted sour, as if past the expiration date. This place lived up to what we were told by friends. The atmosphere is laid back and the entire staff is friendly. Sammy was our waitress and did a fantastic job...she was really personable! Very disappointing. Fried pickles were completely "freeze dried" (fell apart as we attempted to eat them), and so salty that we couldn't eat them. Food was way too greasy and underwhelming. This is more of a general review of Three B's. My kids and I love this place. They have a good, diverse kids menu. I've mostly had hamburgers and sandwiches when I come here. I highly recommend the Towering Inferno if you want a spicy burger, or the pulled pork sandwich. read more

Great food. I really like the bread they use for buns and sandwiches and the potato skins are great. However, it's the worst service EVER. I understand giving local kids a job but they're killing the business. Took the bartender four other orders and 15 minutes to cash me out. Good luck calling for take-out. They'll disconnect you 90% of the time. If you're a guy and sitting at the bar you'll be fine. I'll stick to other places. read more

This is place is awesome. Had fried mushrooms for appetizers and they were amazing! Shared the BBBLT with onions strings and it was delish! Had great selection of beers which made hubby happy. I have been to this restaurant at least 6 times, not counting carry out orders, since my first visit, with what is now my wife & in-laws, a little over a year ago. because I only eat out once a week, & of course like to change it up, this place has got to be in my top 5 places when I want a good burger. my favorite burgers are The Memphis, The Fat Boy, & The Fried Mac n Cheese Burger. Their burgers are huge, & fresh. I have never had to send anything back due to it not being to my liking. their steak fries are the bomb dot com. my in-laws also love the chicken fried steak tacos. I've tried them myself, & they too are great, but I'm a burger guy so that's what I get every time we go. the restaurant is more sports bar & grill than straight dining restaurant. so there are TVs all over the place. kids are welcome and there is a small arcade in the dining room. the staff has always been super friendly. the place is clean, but seems dark inside due to the dark décor, but then again I've only ever gone there at night so maybe it's brighter inside during daytime hours. I've never used their restrooms so I can't speak of that, but obviously this is a place I would highly recommend & I will certainly be paying another visit. hopefully soon! read more

I tried to order takeout. After someone finally answered, they "put me on hold" which apparently means setting the phone down and forgetting about you. After 10 minutes of hearing the girl who answered the phone talking to other people and ringing up people's bills, I hung up. Then I called back several times, but the phone was still off the hook. Then, just to cure my own curiosity I called back about 30 minutes later, but no answer! Terrible! read more

The buffalo wings are some of the best I've every had. A few flavors to choose from. If you want hot go with the "nuclear". You want be let down! The chicken fried steak sliders rock. To be honest giving them one star was hard to do. The service was horrible, the food even worse and it was pricey. Their French fries weren't cooked all the way, my philly cheese steak was disgusting and flavorless and my mothers fish was soggy. Not once did a server come by and refill my drink either. I guess I should have known better from a bar but honestly I've had good bar food before and this place is far from that, please people don't waste your money, anyone that said their food was even slightly appetizing would have to been someone who was drunk. I am at a loss for words- this place has great burgers and salads, but today's visit was awful. Literally had the worst service ever. My fiancé, who has never complained about anything at any restaurant, asked to speak with the manager. Drinks took 10 minutes (waters and sodas, nothing from the bar), and never got refilled the 20 minutes we sat there waiting on food. The waiter dropped the food off, then said, "oh, do you guys want refills?" Duh! So he was gone for 5 minutes refilling drinks. My friend asked for extra napkins and ranch, which never arrived. We didn't even see this guy on the floor the whole time until another table (next to us) was seated and he took their drink orders. He came back about 20 minutes after we had gotten our food and asked if we needed anything else.. Of course my fiancé was about to lose it. He ended up talking to the manager, who said that was the second complaint he had gotten so far about that waiter today- mind you we got there at 11:45, less than an hour after they opened. We didn't get out of there until 1:10. I guess the waiter saw my fiancé talking to the manager; he walked up and handed my fiancé the check and said "sorry the check took so long." The manager took the check and comped our meal, which was kind of him and not what we were expecting. Aside from the service, my friend and fiancé loved their burgers. I opted for a Greek salad, which I usually love from there. It was a lot smaller than usual and the shrimp didn't smell right. The greens were also wilted, he gave me the wrong dressing, but I ate it anyway because I was hungry. I really want to enjoy eating here again. The service has been shoddy the last 6 months. With the exception of today's salad, the food is always on point. My fiancé and I both work in the service industry, we know the minimum level of guest service, and today didn't even meet the minimum. If I could give this place a negative 1 star I would. I'm writing this after the incident, it occurred on February 25, around 5:05pm. My family and I decided to try this restaurant, it had been opened for a while and we figured we should finally try it. Big Mistake. First off we decided to show up at 5, figured it wouldn't be busy, it wasn't, there were only three other tables. We get seated and start looking at the menu, three other families come in and get seated and then 2 minutes after they are seated a waitress/waiter took their drink orders and then gave them their drinks. We are still sitting there, no one comes up to us, all the wait staff see us, they keep peaking around the corner and they obviously see us... so we say, " well let's give them a few more minutes" 5 minutes pass, we even try to make eye contact with a waiter, he sees us, and continues walking away... he wasn't busy, he wasn't holding anything or dealing with anyone else's order. So that was the last straw, we got up and started to leave. Then a waitress asked what's wrong, like she hadn't noticed us sitting there all along. We tell her that we have been sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for service, while three other tables who came in after us have been served, that waitresses and waiters have literally made eye contact with us and still not acknowledged us. I hate to say this I really do, but the only people in the restaurant were white, the tables who came in after us were all white, they were serviced right away. My family and I are Asian and Hispanic, we are not illegal we live in Kingwood, and have for over 23 years. But guess what none of this should matter, because we were customers. If your employees are really taught to judge people based on race, appearance then there is a deeper issue. We were so excited to try this place, because the reviews were great and word of mouth was awesome. But now, no. I am so disappointed and ashamed that people are still like this. read more
