Ok, not bad, but $90.00 for a burrito, and a platter of enchiladas, two (wine) margaritas and tip. The chicken in the enchiladas was dry and flavorless. Have been a few times but first post. Placed an order to go for Steak Ranchero and Super Nachos with carnitas. Decided to try their Pineapple Coconut Margarita (not sure if that is the correct name or not as forgot to take a pic of the drink specials). Sat down and started to take a few sips of my drink, which tasted fabulous btw) and the waitress was already setting out food down in front of us. The restaurant was quaint and clean. They took cash but seemed better equipped to take credit cards. When we got the food back to our airbnb it was still piping hot and looked delicious. The Steak Ranchero was good but a little spicy for my dad. The nachos were really good but could have used a few more chips. They can also be shared as there was plenty for 2 people. Always a consistently grand experience! The service staff is warm and welcoming. It's seems like you've just stopped by to have a meal with cherished family members. Me and the boys went here en route to camping at Bodega Dunes, traveling from Sacramento so we were all famished from the 2.5 hour drive. Walked in to a very home-esque design that made it easy to relax. We were all greeted timely and they were very swift to accommodate seating for our 8 person party. Waters and menus were out for us as we were sat, and they got us our drinks very quickly. I ordered an horchata, which was cool, not too sweet, with a dash of cinnamon. Right after we got our drinks they took our food order, in which i ordered a wet fried fish burrito. Fried fish in the burrito was crispy yet cooked to perfection, and the rice and wet salsa in the warm tortilla was the cherry on top. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience and I'd recommend this any day of the week to any tourists passing by read more

During a girls weekend trip to Bodega Bay, we decided to come here because we were all craving chips and salsa. Its off the highway, not really hidden but if you blink you could miss it. There is plenty of parking. It was a Friday night and it was pretty busy for the dinner crowd, but luckily we were able to get seated right away inside. They had both indoor and outdoor options. My friends got the taco salad and the enchiladas suizas. I got the carne asada super burrito and we all shared the churros. Service was great, our food came out quickly. Our server was friendly and helpful when we asked her questions about the menu. I really loved their salsa roja that they served with the chips! The burrito was good, but nothing particular about it that made it stand out. The portion was big too with lots of fillings. My friends enjoyed their food. At the end of eating our entrees we decided to get dessert and we opted for the churros. I am not a big churro person, because normally you get the frozen and then warmed up variety, but these were authentic. It took a little while for the churros to come out because the server said that they were making them fresh, AND they were. Hot and filled with chocolate and with a serving of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the plate. They were delightful! We weren't rushed and we were able to have dinner in peace. read more

We camped at the RV park behind this restaurant and at the spur-of-the-moment laziness attack, we decided not to cook and just walk over to this joint. Now, my friends had been to this place previously, but this was my first. I wasn't all that hungry, but once the food arrived, my buddy had the mole' dish, his wife the wet burrito and I the meat quesadilla, all were good. I consider myself a competent judge of (Anglo) Mexican cuisine living in San Francisco as we have a ton of very competitive south of the border eateries of various levels and this place can hold its own against the city-folks. My only criticism is their price, they charge beyond their pay grade, but then again, they're one of the only game in town which has very few players. So, I give them three-points as this place doesn't quite agree with me in terms of food/price value. The food is very good, but it comes at a steeper price than it should. P.S. Came based on reviews and close proximity to the RV park. We were hopeful for a good experience based on the numerous guests. The line was out the door but there was no clarity as to why (apparently for outdoor seating) we finally were able to sit down but waited a in excess of 10 minutes for drink orders. The food was ok not a huge fans of white beans in my taco salad. My son said the fish and chips were good. Waited forever to get the check and I finally had to ask for the check. Severely under staffed. Ambiance was ok nothing to get excited about. Will not be returning due to service and prices. We watched people walk out after waiting a long time. People who were in line directly behind us had just gotten to the front for their orders to be taken. Kinda crazy. read more

We had chile relleno burritos, a shrimp burrito and chicken tortilla soup - all superb. The burritos come with the most excellent enchilada sauce - unlike any I've ever had. I would confess, I was a little hesitant when we strolled in here based on the cheesy signage in the windows and that they had clam chowder on special. I get that it's popular for the area but I'm always skeptical when a restaurant tries to be too many things. The inside of the restaurant is simple but fun with a wooden boat-like feel. It seemed like a lot of locals were there during our visit. Note that evening food hours can be quite limited in this area. We ordered the guacamole along with the carnitas plate (served with rice, beans and corn tortillas). They offer Peruvian, refried and black beans- we enjoyed the Peruvian beans that we ordered. The staff was friendly and on it. Overall, our meal was quite tasty. My only suggestion would be to serve the salsa and tomatillo avocado salsa in a larger container so it's easier to consume with a chip . read more

Our server brought utensils wrapped in a napkin and chips and salsa. The green salsa was terrific! We placed our order and our food was brought our quickly. The restruant filled up and it was clear that all there service was quick. I had the salmon tacos with Peruvian beans. The salmon was served in strips over eight crunchy pickled relish. I really liked it. The beans were very mild, which also suits my tastes. My husband had the chicken mole poblano. There was lots of gravy which he soaked up with tortillas and rice. We were not sure about Mexican food in Bodega Bay, but this place is amazing! Get something from the specials menu where they showcase local fresh seafood. The tortilla soup with a beautiful chicken broth with a bit of a bite and avocado was outstanding and a meal in its own right. Fish tacos were the best we've had in California (decades). Enchiladas Suizas were wonderful. To top it off, I ordered a Caesar salad with no expectations, and I swear, it was the best Caesar salad I've ever had. Do not hesitate, in fact, make it a priority.
