I eat here fairly regularly as my office is nearby, and I would say a lot of people do the same. If you are going to eat here on a weekday you should try to get there just before noon or you might find yourself waiting for a table. It's usually packed for lunch. The food is pretty good for bar food. I like the chicken and cheese with sweet potato fries, but the burgers are pretty good, too. The Augusta burger with turkey patty is also one of my favorites. I have eaten at the majority of Three Dollar locations and have been eating at one particular location for over 20 years - the location at Peachtree Corners, however, is by far the worst. The inconsistencies in food and service are so far below the standards of the Three Dollar name that they really ought to have that title ripped from them. Let me give you an example using my most recent visit. I went at lunch with two guests. Our flakey waitress is nowhere to be seen the majority of the time. We can't get drink refills or place our order in a timely manner. When the food finally does arrive after a substantial wait (and still no drinks to be seen the rest of the meal) there are pretty obvious errors. My first guest ordered 10 wings Mild, and they came out Hot. She's a wimp, but I tried them myself to confirm and they were well off from the usual 3$ Mild. No problem, right? We'll just send them back and get new ones. The waitress apologizes and says she'll bring out fresh wings. She comes back a little while later with the SAME exact plate of wings!! You could even still see the spot in which I had removed a wing earlier! My guest sends them back again and says she doesn't want anything. As for me, I got the chicken wrap. The waitress tells me that they forgot to toss the chicken in wing sauce, as it's meant to be served. I said I'd like a new one. She returns later with the exact same wrap with wing sauce poured over the top!! Besides the obvious health code violation of re-serving returned plates, the audacity to serve us the same plates passed off as freshly made ones was astounding. I am not one to write a negative review after a single bad experience, but my last visit only highlights a consistent trend of poor food quality and even worse service at this location. It does not live up to the 3$ standard, but even if you've never been to a 3$ before and have no expectations, expect to play food and service roulette at this restaurant. You never know what you're going to get. I don't plan on coming back, and frankly, neither should you. read more

Great for getting a beer, patio is great when the weather is good! The music they've played the times I've gone, is not so good. I think some of the younger staff may get to hook up their iPods. :-/ Most of the food is good, just not nearly as good as Three Dollars else where, which stinks. I used to really enjoy eating at Three Dollar. I would suggest getting a burger at the Bobbys place next door, then enjoying a beer at Three Dollar. I have always been a fan of $3 Cafe dating back to the one in Buckhead years ago. I had some business in Norcross and saw this place so stopped on for lunch. I decided to sit at the bar. Very clean. TVs everywhere. The bar tender waited on me immediately. I ordered 10 wings medium xtra crispy and the wings can't put perfectly within minutes. Highly recommend of you haven't been there! read more

This place has the best cheese steak I have ever tasted since moving to Georgia. They should seriously change the name to philly cheese steak because that is exactly what it tasted like. I had the shrimp baja special . This was a shrimp cocktail with avocados, cilantro, jalapeño and tomatoes served with chips. I loved this! It was so flavorful , my friend got the lemon pepper wings and medium. The wings were cooked well and didn't have a lot of extra skin like most wing spots. The waitress was amazing as well. I'm left with the feeling of, "what am I missing?" 3DC was the only place I hadn't been in the immediate Norcross area so I said what the heck. The waitress lacked personality and was very slow especially since we stated we were on lunch when we sat down. I had the buffalo shrimp and they were huge. However for $10.95 I'd rather have smaller shrimp with an order of fries. The other ladies complained of the lack of seasoning in the food and I didn't feel compelled to try anyone else's dish. I understand it's bar food however I've been to plenty of bars where the food was much better. Verdict: I don't see myself rushing back anytime soon if at all. read more

I just left this place about like 30 minutes ago, everything was going good and food was perfectly fine! in fact I loved it really! My server was very friendly too! Up until when a white man that I think is the boss perhaps? went into the back of the restaurant and started yelling at all his employees in a really loud tone ... I think the whole restaurant was aware of what was occurring & I have to say that was very unprofessional in my opinion. Awful. I have never had a worse server in my life. Great place to eat but NEVER have Jordan as your server. He was disrespectful and very full of a negative attitude. I had to asked two times for a refill on my drink and the second time he rolled his eyes. The food was not correct and everyone I tried to wave him down he would ignore me, even though he made straight eye contact with me. Excellent food and service! At lunch, I often walk in and order to go right on the spot. Food takes less than 15 minutes, sometimes 10 minutes, to be packed up and ready. I've also sat down to eat, and the waiters are very quick to serve you, and are very attentive without being annoying. So came for quick lunch ( we thought ) never got our food until hour later , it would have been better if the manager would have came to apologize to us as soon as he realized someone forgot our order . He waited for a while and then came to say the cooks apparently lost our tickets . People who on lunch break don't have hours for lunch . However, our waiter was nice and very apologetic ( Brian ) so he gets the 1 star. Then when I food arrive it was wrong , just say I won't be returning. BY FAR THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!!! This place never ceases to amaze me. Every time my husband and I can't agree on what we want to eat, we simply go here. It has so much variety and everything is sooooo good l. The most recent time I got a turkey burger and it was soooooooooo good. It was so juicy and flavorful. By far the best turkey burger I have ever tasted. This was definitely not your regular frozen turkey patty. I could tell they actually gave me a nice FRESH handmade patty.
