I tend to get 60-90 minute nail art, most found on Pinterest. The health of my nails is much better since I've been going to miGak consistently. It's my natural nails, no extensions needed. The polish and the removal do not destroy my nails like Vanity Projects and other comparable nail shops. Everyone is sweet. I book online at Vagaro. You do need to plan ahead. I usually book my appointment right after I get my manicure. I can usually go 4-5 weeks and I rarely have chipped nails.

My nails look great. The technician was wonderful. However, the woman at the front desk had a bad attitude and was not nice at all. She never smiled, I was not offered the opportunity to make another appointment after I paid, (which has never happened), and while I was waiting for my change, she was texting. I was standing right in front of her and she continued texting and didn't give me my change until she finished on her phone. That is very unprofessional. I don't know her issue but that is not how customers should ever be treated. Disappointing.

My pedicure tech, massaged my legs and feet so well. I had a deep foot spa treatment and I was so relaxed and in love with how well they treated us. They cut my nails evenly and put in so much work to remove callus as well. They don't do acrylic here which makes the smell inside so relaxing. They use aromatherapy and even have the cutest doggy pet in their shop. He's so quiet and friendly. The owner, I believe, was just so nice. She even massaged my shoulders and neck free of charge. She was so positive and in great spirits. My feet were baby smooth, I've not had a pedicure done so well like this in forever. I chose chrome gel polish which is $10 more but she waived that fee since I didn't see it on any sign. Come here, you won't regret it. They do prefer cash tips btw.

I figured I'd have time for a pedicure and maybe even a manicure too. Knowing how busy Dolphin can get, I booked it there* in the rain around 10AM and they were able to squeeze me in. My feet were in bad shape (I walk 10-15k steps/day, wear heels to the office 4 days a week and hadn't gotten a pedicure since I was in Greece... in early June) and my hands were even worse. Neither were a challenge for Abby! She did an incredible job and was maybe the most gentle nail technician I've ever encountered. I'm truly amazed that she was able to take care of my mangled cuticles and nails without any pain. And they look great. What a gem this place is! I'm going to try and make manicures a regular thing now (mayhe in tandem with my return to Yelp reviews!) While my one friend and I had a pretty average experience our friend visiting from out of town was nonstop bleeding for 45 minutes after a small chunk of her pinky toe was sliced. The staff seemed unsure of how to deal with the situation and she left with her toes unpainted and wrapped in a band aid. Luckily there was no question about her being charged but we left very disappointed.
