On my most recent visit, I met up with an old friend and their partner to get drinks. Roger's Bar made some very good (and decently strong) drinks, and I particularly enjoyed their signature cocktail "The Elemental Thing," which was delightfully fruity and tropical. Prices were a little steep ($13 for a vodka lemonade is a little high IMO) but I think it makes sense for this location. Seating is abundant and varied-- there are couches, standard tables, and high tables with bar stools. The dimmer bar section is more pleasant in my opinion because it feels less like a food court. I ended up ordering a calzone from Sloan's, which came fast and tasted great. My other go-to is the Ethiopian spot-- amazing veggie options and some of the only Ethiopian to be had in the Denver suburbs (from what I can tell). All-around, this is a great place for an easy meal.

I got the lamb gyro with tzatziki and the meat is so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I loved the chopped peppers in it and the tzatziki had a bright flavor with the perfect amount of tang. Full Tank Food Park came out of left field. I've driven by/walked by a thousand times these last four years and often contemplated, "should I buy this place myself?" It was a long ignored, abandoned gas station. And now the owners have cleaned the space, decorated the inside, and boom, there's a permanent coffee shop, a quaint living room/communal workspace and food trucks on site. Their grand opening was this past weekend. Moonflower Coffee are slinging the beans and the coffee was very good. We ordered two black Americanos and sat for awhile. We look forward to trying their special seasonal creations! The food truck situation is still in the works. The goal is to have more vendors on site, host events, and sell cocktails. It's still in the process and they're looking at being in full swing next month (November 2023). I am so happy this didn't get turned into condos. Thanks for keeping Colfax cool and reimagining an old building. Excited to see what's to come!

The bread wasn't as fresh as it could have been, it kept falling apart. The salad was very good. The dressing was yummy & all the ingredients were crisp. However, I would have liked the cucumbers & tomatoes to be bite size. All in all a good lunch, next time I'll try the Hummus Plate & the Fried Calamari.

It was a relatively short weight given that it was prime dinner rush. I took my order and headed off to my book club. The sandwich was a bit messy. I know to ask for plastiware next time. Luckily I had access to some extra napkins. The dolmades were tasty, with a wedge of lemon and some feta on top. I would get both of these items again.

Honey ice cream is a fave of ours and after having it at Happy Cones, other "honey like ice cream" have disappointed us. The Hokey Pokey is a top favorite of ours. We have tried other flavors but always come back to the Hokey Pokey. It's just a delicious flavor and I really like the texture and consistency of the ice cream with the toffee and honeycomb bits with each bite. Just so good. I tried the Ube Cookies and Cream, Mexican Chocolate with Raspberry, and Pistachio Toffee. All were absolutely fantastic - perfectly sweet and creamy! The staff was super friendly with big smiles all around and I didn't realize until looking back at photos that the guy was posing for the photo in the back holding up crepes, which is hilarious.
