First time there. Not impressed with the claim of best wings. So chewy and not crispy. When i told the waitress they were not made crispy like i had originally ordered she asked if i wanted something else i did order another entree a very bland burger and still got charged for the wings. If you live in that location probably not many other restaurants to choose from however being that we have other options where we live with impressive wings i was not happy with these wings. This place should be famous! The wings are like none I have ever had before! There is just something about a frosty cold pint of beer paired with some spicy wings. The choice of flavors means You just have to go back. I could only manage trying: Wing Dust, Mojo and Thousand Island Wing Dust Combo. We had not eaten here for about a year, but got a gift card from a friend, so stopped in for dinner. I ordered chicken wing and my wife ordered a burger and fries. Wow! Was I surprised by the food. The chicken wings had almost no sauce and were almost raw. I only ate 2 then trashed the other 10. My wife's burger was ok, but the fries were terrible. I tried one and spit it out. It tasted like the oil it was cooked in was months old. We had money on the gift card after we paid, but the food was so bad, I left it on the table, never wanting to return again. i will say, the servers did a great job and the atmosphere is good. Excellent service from our sweet waitress on her last night before maternity leave. Waited an hour and a half for our food which was mediocre at best. My fries were cold and the breaded wings were soggy. My husband and I had to ask for drink refills numerous times before we actually got them. My husband asked for a refill on his beer she didn't know what beer he had and when he said which one he originally ordered she said "Oh that's not what I brought you the first time." When we went to pay I asked for the manager I was told she left. But then the waitress said "the only thing the manager said I could do is take 15% off your bill." They should have automatically done that and not waited for me to ask about it. We won't be back. read more

We went here after a funeral and they stayed open late just to accommodate for us. The food was so good and everyone was left full and Happy! We have tried all sorts of wings from chain restaurants to mom and pops and while this one is all the rage, we found it a little lackluster. (I am only judging the wings here and the front area.) The wings were dry and not as juicy as we expected, we also recieved a couple of flavors including their wing dust, buffalo and one other I can't recall. The flavors were what I expected, however ,the wing dust was a bit too sweet. They sell this dust on the side, but I'm pretty sure you can do a spice mix with nature's seasoning and sugar along with some cayenne and paprika and it would be better. However, since it was Super Bowl Sunday, they had a sign up that said they were only open for pre ordered wings. We walked in anyway on a chance we could get some wings. By no means is this 4 stars in comparison to a fine dining experience. But when it comes to great bar food - it deserves the 4 stars. Their boneless chicken wings were a great serving size (surpassed the serving side I ordered) and their pepper jack bites are always cooked to perfection and a great addition. Fried pickles were a tad soggy and not as crispy as the pepper jack bites but were still yummy - could have been due to it being a to go order. I've been going to Three Pines for a very long time, I have seen many changes over the years. Both good and bad. BUT, if you have not been in a while let me tell ya, you should. Kathy and Jordan have done a lot and are still doing some major changes. The chef they have on board has done some amazing additions to the menu and the lunch and dinner specials are killer!! I work right around the corner from The Pines as we call it. Let me tell you now they have the BEST wings around with many wet and dry flavors. The menu is pretty extensive and the staff are awesome. Go there 2x and they remember your name and drink. Just like Cheers!!! It's a bar and restaurant so it has s very cozy feel to it. If your in the area definitely stop in. The wings alone earn this place 4 stars, that and the fact that it's within walking distance for a townie like me. The Three Pines is a great place to go for wings and beer and no frills. Slide up to the bar with the regulars or sit in the dining room with a more family and friends oriented crowd. Either way, order a dozen wings (wing dust for the win) and prepare to be talking about this place when your friends ask if you know any good wing joints. The wings go down even better with a cold yuengling draft, just don't expect them to stay open all night and get rowdy like some big name sports bar or college bar. Mt Holly Springs is a small quiet town and The Three Pines perfectly embodies that in a tavern setting. Friendly people, good food, fairly priced beer, and most folks get home before bedtime. This was ridiculous, Me, my brother, and mom went to get 18 wings. Afterwards we decided to change our order to 24 wings instead of 18. We went to pick them up and we got 18 when we ordered 24. Another thing to add on to that, we had a lady on the phone that sounded really out of it, she sounded drunk or something and it was hard to order. I recently moved here and heard how great the wings are at Three Pines. I stopped in but no one at the entrance to seat you in the dining area so I went to the bar and was able to place an order there. The wings were indeed good, definitely some of the best I ever had just took a while to get them. I went back a second time, again no one at the entrance, then went to the bar no one at the bar. I sat down at the bar and waited. After 10 minutes of waiting and not seeing a single employee I left. Went back a third time in hopes of getting some of those great wings, the place was packed with bikers so surely there must be someone around serving them. Nope. again no one at the door, no bartender. I guess the bikers get to serve themselves. Not going back, the wings are great but it doesn't matter if you can't order them. read more

They have the best wings around and very reasonable for all items on there menu. People and owners are very nice as well as the staff.
