The only downfall is they don't have may outlets if you want to get some work done. They focus on premium locally sourced seasonal produce and are currently serving breakfast all day and lunch. I went with the Smashed Avo: Smashed Avocado, butter & thyme roasted mushrooms with feta, lime, basil all on Zak the Baker bread with a hash brown on the side. WOW! Power punch of flavor and delightfulness all in one serving. The toast was piled HIGH (seriously, check the pic) with fresh avocado mixed with feta and the bread was lined with the sliced mushrooms. I am pretty sure I picked up my utensils and went heads down with little breathing to shovel all of this in my mouth. The flavors were straight up perfection. The balance of lime and basil mixed with the salt of the hash brown created a beautiful tastebud battle on my tongue. They serve Panther Coffee and I went with a cold brew and it was strong and delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming! We came here in the morning to try their coffee since they serve Panther coffee and we wanted to see how good this small gem was. The place looks like a regular coral gables cafe from the outside. Older building, doesn't really stand out much. But once you walk in; BAM! The place is very nice! There's a wynwood feeling to it. Very modern with rustic elements. It's more of a sit down cafe rather than to go but they still will accommodate you with a plastic cup if you're in a rush. The staff was very nice and welcoming and it feels like a cozy family own business. There was only one brewer so the coffee did take a little extra time to be made but the wait was definitely worth it. Rich in flavors and strong to keep you up when you need it most. I was visiting a friend who lives in Miami and she took us here for brunch one of the days. We waited for about 20-25 minutes for our table, but we walked around for a little bit and came back. MUST ORDER THE SERIOUS SALMON, you'll thank me later! You can get avocado toast anywhere... so why not try something new? This dish is unique, tropical and allowed me to get my salmon fix without ordering the usual "Lox and Bagel" deal. This whole plate is covered in sweet and salty combinations that make every bite explode with flavor in your mouth. Please please please take my word for it!! Gluten-free brownies and almond milk for your coffee are nice additions for those with dietary restrictions. The waffles were light and crispy, with a nice vanilla flavor. I wish they offered a healthier whole wheat or gluten-free version. Anything but bleached white pastry flour. Pancakes or French toast would also be great, but they do offer some yummy banana bread for sweet toothed individuals like me. Or you can just order toasted Zak's bread with fruit jam, Euro-style. The BF went for a breakfast platter, which looked great. Potato croquettes topped with ham and eggs Benedict, sides of sausage, fresh spinach and cauliflower puree. Although I agree this place is overpriced, I have to admit the mouthwatering dishes and cozy environment have kept me coming back. I dream about the smashed avo & the phenomenal funghi (each with a poached egg, of course!), and I really enjoy the Pope Benedict and nice juice selection. Plus, anywhere that serves breakfast all day gets extra points in my book! However, my last experience left me a bit uncomfortable and doubtful: while their menu does state no modifications, my friend ordered the smashed avo but asked for it without the feta (crazy, I know) and our waiter informed her that they can't do that because it's pre-made. I wasn't expecting a place labeling itself as 'gourmet' and 'premium' to have something as simple (and while yes, heavenly) as avocado and mushrooms on bread to be pre-made. One of the biggest reasons I am in love with Threefold Café is because they serve breakfast all day, and I am definitely a breakfast person. For your first visit I suggest you try the Smashed Avo, which is one of their signature plates. It comes with smashed avocado, butter & thyme roasted mushrooms, with feta, lime, basil and it's all on Zak the Baker bread. Maybe you are allergic to mushrooms. That's ok, I have a couple other options for you. The Pope Benedict is their version of an eggs benedict, and it comes with their house made hollandaise, ham all atop hand crafted hash browns, served with a fresh green salad and cauliflower puree. Yes, it's delicious. And if you are going with a huge appetite then order the Big Bad Aussie. This bad boy comes with two fried eggs, house baked beans, hash brown, bacon slab, spinach, toast and house relish. We loved this place and we did before we knew it was owned by Australians. There were a few hints though, like the big Aussie breakfast, flat white, Melbourne bfast tea and vegemite on the menu!! There's a very cute little herb garden at the front of the shop and all the furnishings look great, very clean and tidy. Very Melbourne. There's a kids area at the back wit some toys and things. We start looking at the walls and all of the paintings are from Australia, although you wouldn't know it unless you'd been to those areas - Melbourne is obvious but Mungo national park, the great sand dunes and the Murray-darling, they must be Victorians! Anyway, my husband got a double shot flat white and said the was the best coffee he's had it America. We had to wait a while for it though, I was almost finished my pot of T2 lemongrass and ginger tea by the time it came. He got the pope Benedict and I got the corn fritters, both delicious meals! We also got a side of vegemite and 1 piece of toast which only cost us $1. I had a little vegemite with the corn fritters too, pretty darn good! It came to about $50 which I know most people say is expensive but after growing up in Australia and living in Denver, $50 for what we had was totally worth it. I've been wanting to come here for the longest time but since it's not boozy it isn't a place that my friends usually wanna go to on a Saturday or Sunday morning. I once came with a group of friends and the wait was super long so we went somewhere else because we had just walked a marathon and we were starving, This time, my group and I were more patient and waited the 45 minutes to get a table in the small restaurant. I really loved everything about this place food and drink wise. The coffee options are great. There are freshly squeezed juices as well. If you're a soda lover, however, you might be disappointed because there is no soda or beer or wine. Our server was really sweet and nice and was clearly doing her best but the coffee took a pretty long time to get to the table which was frustrating. I ordered the smashed avo toast with a poached egg on top and it was amazing. The mushrooms layered on the bottom took what was already a fantastic, fresh and flavorful dish and made it even more amazing. I loved that the slice of zak the baker toast on the bottom was sliced really thin cause it made it a lot easier to eat. My mom had the Pope Benedict, which comes with a fried hash-brown patty instead of the more traditional english muffin on the bottom. Brilliant idea and super well-executed because it was really delicious. I took more than one bite of it. Most tables are for individual parties and there was one table for a larger party or sharing. We spent breakfast with two different parties. No intrusion on your conversation and we couldn't hear their convo at all. This place is not a quiet intimate brunch spot. As i stated on my check in, they have a little spot with books and some kiddie toys for little ones. Which is nice even if u have to wait 10 mins for your table. The Eats: So, they sell all kinds of espresso and latte drinks but lack regular joe. They custom craft two kinds. One is fruity and light, which i tried for a change of my normal dark and hearty (I am Italian and love espresso). I would say, not bad but not something I would do again. It was an enjoyable mini pot of coffee. We all shared the banana bread with espresso butter and syrup. Really good and somewhat light. You will understand if you go for it. My only qualm with this place is that I don't live next door. Threefold Cafe welcomed us with open arms. We were delightfully surprised to see the cold brew towers upon walking in. We're kind of coffee snobs, so legit coffee is always a plus. The service here was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest! She even gave us hugs when we left. We wanted to be her best friends! We felt like she knew us forever because she knew exactly what we would order. I ordered the Pope Benedict. My husband got the Lamb on Zak's Bread. Can I just say how genius it is to put Eggs Benedict on top of a hash brown? I applaud you, Threefold! I applaud you. The Pope Benedict is something that I will forever crave now. Perfect Eggs Benedict atop the most crispy hash brown paired with cauliflower puree and a delicious lemony, spinach salad. The Lamb on Zak's Bread is a man's meal! I'll be honest, it's rare for me to like a lamb dish -- but Threefold Cafe knows how to do lamb. And let's just talk about the bread for a minute. Best. Bread. Ever. I'm so glad I FINALLY tried this place! The entrees taste just as good as they look in all the pictures posted by fellow Yelpers. We arrived around 12:45PM on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Fortunately, since we were a party of two the wait was short. There were several large parties seated and waiting to sit. They serve breakfast all day on the weekends so no need to rush out of bed. Since it was Sunday and there is no need to be dieting or watching what you eat during the weekend, particularly when you come eat at a place with delicious entrees, we settled on the staple restaurant items - the smashed avo, not so French toast and the warm, melt in your mouth monkey bread. Everything was delicious! I even put a little of the smashed avo on my not so French toast, which was spectacular. The menu has so many unique items that I will most certainly be returning to try new dishes and order repeats. You can tell the restaurant's staff takes pride in their food and appreciates quality. Loved the ambiance and decorating of this place! Went at about 11:00 am on a Sunday and there was already a wait for a table(about 20 minutes, no biggie). The service was quick and the food, delicious. We started with a chai tea latte and cappucino, which were both presented beautifully. Everything on the brunch menu seemed unique. We had a hard time limiting our choices! We ended up starting with the monkey bread (must must try), the pop benedict which was a fun twist on a classic (hashbrown bottoms instead of english muffin) and the corn fritters. I hadn't been a patron of the restaurant in a while so decided to satisfy my taste buds by ordering my favorite dish from the Coral Gables location. After waiting a substantial amount of time for take-out I was served this barely warm mush of white rice. It was HORRIBLE. What was supposed to be a special occasion treat $20 later turned into a dissapointing meal. What was worse is I invited someone else to try this catastrophe with me. This is a relatively new cafe that has a ton of potential. I went here for brunch with a few friends. I would definitely describe this place as hipster and trendy. Their menus were coffee-stained on clipboards, their drink choices and a collection of inspiring quotes were written on the wall, there was an abundance of mason jars, the chairs were metal painted in funky colors, and there is an espresso bar towards the front of the cafe. The food ordered was: Mango Juice: Excellent! Most of the time when you order mango juice at a restaurant, it tastes like it came straight from a can. This did not and it was worth the $3.50. I would definitely order again and would recommend trying their other drinks too. My friends had the peppermint tea and cold brew coffee and both said they enjoyed them. Emperor Nasi Goreng: I was a little skeptical because I grew up in Southeast Asia where this dish originated, but I was pleasantly surprised. It had good flavor and did remind me a bit of home. I did ask for it without the jalapeños though, as they're typically not used in this dish and I felt the flavor would have been off with them. My only complaint with this dish is the amount of cilantro on top. The leaves were still on all the stalks and there was enough that it would probably cost $1.99 for the bunch at Whole Foods. My friends ordered the Waffle On and the Hash Tag This, and both were overall happy with their dishes. My friend just thought the waffles could use more vanilla mascarpone. Although this place has great food with a creative menu(I'm coming after you next time, vegemite dishes) and amazing ambiance, the service was awful. It took around 30 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was not very attentive, and would come over and ask if we needed more ice, even though our glasses were already filled to the brim with ice. She also tried to upsell a ton of items to us. She tried to convince my friend to order the organic maple bourbon syrup with her waffles for an extra $1 or $2. Even after our food was taken away, we had to wait 10 minutes for her to bring us the check, and that was only after we asked. So I'll come back because I'm excited to try more from their menu, but probably in 6 months when it's a little more organized. read more

This is one of the cutest little cafes in the Gables! It has alot of natural lighting so it is pleasant to sit by the windows. The staff was very friendly and the wait time for food isn't to long (but it's not the shortest either). I ordered the smashed avo this time around, and the time before I ordered the mega mushroom. I like the variety in the menu - it has breakfast as well as lunch, all of which looks delicious! The smahed avo was good, it included loads of avacado, feta cheese, and I believe mushrooms, all on top of toast (with an option of poached egg). The toast was very cut-your-gums hard, however the avacado ontop of it made it somewhat soggy and thus do-able. From what I remember about the mega-mushroom, it was OVERLOAD. Too much truffe-oil for my taste, I preferred the smashed avo much more. I ordered a side of baked beans which were wonderful, but a little too sweet like alot of sugar was added. Just finished a delicious brunch at Threefold and can't wait to go back and try everything else. Laid back, casual vibe with tons of breakfast options served all day. I had the smashed avo (avocado, lime, basil, mushroom and feta on Zak the Baker bread) and loved it. Filling enough for a meal and almost felt cleansing after not being very healthy (and slightly hungover) this weekend. I only wish the poached eggs weren't extra ($2 each). My husband had the rice bowl with shrimp and chicken and we both kept eating each other's food. So good. Super friendly service with a kind and attentive waiter. They serve jars of cold water as soon as you sit down and always make sure it's replenished. Seems welcoming and accommodating to any crowd.. There was someone eating alone at the window bar, two big parties of 8 or more, several babies, children.. I'd say it's perfect for any occasion. All day breakfast.. all weekend? Love. The clean, modern, rustic feel at Threefold is so fresh and inviting. They serve panther coffee, zak the baker bread, atelier monnier macaroons and dishes made from locally sourced eggs and produce. Everything is fresh! As food should be. We started off with orange juice and waters, which came in a mason jars (I'm a fan!) cold brew coffees and Mornin Monkey- a delicious banana bread with espresso butter and maple syrup. :) For the main event, after some contemplating, I went with the East in the West with a side of Zak's bread and my fiance got the "Not so French toast". The entrees took a bit to arrive, about 20 minutes. My dish was piping hot! If you are not a fan of tomatoes, do not get East in the West, its very tomato-y. I liked it, it was flavorful and hearty, but wish it came with more toast soldiers (yummy crispiness) and spinach. It was mostly a tomatoey stew. The " Not so French toast" was delicious and I highly recommend! The ricotta , sage, and prosciutto made for a delicious savory French toast twist. This restaurant is family/ child friendly, there is a cute area in the back with crayons and books for the kiddos. There were maybe 2-3 babies at the restaurant on the morning of our visit. No crying though. Thank goodness ;) Overall, my first time experience at Threefold was a positive one. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because the restaurant looks very nice. Having said that, that was the inky positive thing about my experience eating here. What I found was over priced, bland food with bad customer service. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I order the avocado smash with an egg, a mango juice and a harsh brown. The juice tasted super artificial, the avocado toast was bland, and I sent back the most horrible harsh brown I have ever eaten. AVOID!!! Panther coffee, organic juices (had the orange juice) super tasty and sweet. For breakfast I had to go with the toast top with avocado smash and a poach egg(healthy as it gets) is a whooping $15 but its big and fresh!! Prepare to pay big for breakfast here!! We came to see this new umbrella project going on in the gables and decided to stop in for a quick coffee but after seeing all the delicious food I decided to order a breakfast item to go along with my coffee. I was craving sweet so I went with the French toast. These are defiantly not your traditional French toast, everything about it was different but in a good way. They were French toast sticks first off, and the texture was even different, but I scooped up every bite of these fried goodness with the guava paste pieces it had on top and the creme anglaise sauce it came with. It was hard to describe what the yellowish sauce was, it was almost like a custard dessert cream. It is a mix of sugar, egg yolks and hot milk, but it wasn't too sweet. it was a good balance. They were literally the perfect combo of fried, sweet, and savory. The cappuccino was delicious as well, made with coffee art to boot. The ambiance of the place was great too. I love how attentive and fast they are, everything was brought on a timely manner , we were in and out quick but didnt feel rushed though. The decor is adorable as well they have a little kids corner in the back left where babies can go and play or read book and have a Dr. Seuss quote on the wall. I thought this was very original and awesome idea and not something you see at every restaurant . You can totally tell they are known for their avocado toast and poached egg on top, almost every table was ordering that! This place is very good for a healthy breakfast! I've been to both locations, and they are both good . I've had the avocado smash and it was pretty good, but it could use a little more flavor like maybe more onions, scallions, tomato, & lime to make it more like a real guacamole. The mushroom omelette was very good, but although it was suppose to include truffle oil, I didn't taste or smell it at all! This is definitely a go to healthy breakfast for me. There are only two things they could improve. One is, improve the ketchup, which is regular Heinz with high fructose corn syrup. Two, is have fresh juices. I'm a big breakfast person and I like to stick with what I know. My first time coming here I decided to play it safe, so I ordered the waffles. Love, love, LOVE! The fruit, the compost, everything about it was divine! My second time coming here I also decided to play it safe and went with what I know. Chicken Parm. Also a good choice. The chicken was perfectly cooked with the sauce and cheese melted over it to perfection and sitting on a bed of fries. The third time I went. I also went with what I knew and ordered the steak tacos which was not the best choice. Even though they weren't bad, I personally thought they could have had more flavor and they also only give a small portion. One thing that I don't like is that you can't change anything about your order if it varies from the menu. Everything must be ordered as - is which can be kind of annoying but other than that I think it's a cute brunch spot. read more

Excellent spot for breakfast. I have never ever had hash browns as good as the ones in the Eggs Benedict. Instead of the typical English muffin base they used an inch thick hash brown that was cooked to perfection. The fresh orange juice made for a great mimosa. Delicious! read more

First time ordering to go. It was not what I expected... I had the pulled pork burger which had no flavor. It needed salt, pepper, something to make it not taste like wet dog meat. The burger was soggy as if it was sitting there for an hour or two and the side was a dry old spinach salad with a watery dressing that tasted like nothing. Pretty sad for paying $15 for the burger and being disappointed when I heard good things about this place. read more

I was there today for breakfast my eggs came 56 minutes ago was like vomiting over one toast , never well done , the hash brown came 15 minutes later it supposed to be at the same time, the ketchup that I asked never come over and the caffe was awful, I feel sorry about this place I never came back again read more

Amazing as they normally are! I live coming here for a nice brunch, always bring people who've never been to show it off since it's close to my house. I had the aero press coffee which is super smooth a mild yet gives a nice kick of caffeine. I had the breakfast sandwich for my entree and my partner had the salmon scramble. Both delicious, the sandwich was very easy to eat and didn't hurt to bite into and fall apart like most breakfast sandwiches. If you've never been here, and especially if you live near the gables the ln your missing out. The modern decor, dr Seuss quotes, and amazing coffee and food is sure to make you come back time and time again. read more

Came here because I was craving a brunch style meal. Since it was bustling with a nice size crowd, I figured it must be good otherwise what am I waiting25 mins for? While crowded, there was some order, a nice young lady wrote our names on a waiting list. For the price I was paying I expected fresh ingredients and a reasonable amount of toppings with our meals. We ordered the Omelette & Salmon Scramble 2.0. Omelette was plain with minimal toppings & sea salt sprinkled all over. As for the Salmon Scramble, there was more Creme Fraiche than the itty bits of Salmon they sprinkled onto the meal, a dash of shallots & multiple dills to add color to an otherwise salty meal. Maybe it's just me, but if the food is flavorful enough, I think the sea salt is unnecessary, the only other place where I've seen so much sea salt sprinkled onto a meal is Saltbae's restaurant Nusr-Et. When I order a side of Hash Brown, I was expecting that fresh cooked side of hash brown where it's grilled and smash together onto your plate. I got this round brown thing that looked like it came out of a Sysco frozen packet sprinkled with sea salt on top. I guess my expectations were higher due to the restaurant being located in a High End area like Coral Gables, and the large crowd that was in attendance. Maybe it's my mistake for not checking Yelp to see which meals people favored. Service was decent considering how busy it was. Flat latte and Lemon Ginger drink was tasty. read more

We came here after reading an article of where to go for the best instagram pics in Miami. And I agree, this place is def instagram worthy! I ordered the smashed avocado and requested the egg not too runny. It came out literally picture perfect. All I had to do was add some sriracha which I saw that they had. I did want to add that the toast was a bit hard. The lattes were very nicely made with the cafe art and the French earl grey tea was so so good. We kindly asked for refills of hot water bc it was that good! Now I want to know where can I get more of that?! read more
