We love coming to Three's Bar & Grill for happy hour whenever we're in Maui! The atmosphere is always fun and relaxed, especially hanging out outside on the patio. It's such a great spot to unwind, grab drinks, and enjoy the Maui vibe. The service has also been consistently great every time we've visited... Always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely one of our go-to spots when we're on the island.

You'll find them in the Kīhei Kalama Village. I went for their happy hour and sat right at the bar. Great service and welcoming atmosphere. They were also featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives! Make sure to try my favorites on their happy hour menu. Kalua Pork Quesadilla - bbq sauce, jack cheese, asian peanut slaw, cilantro aioli, pineapple chutney Panko Crusted Ahi Roll - avocado, cucumber, curry beurre blanc, unagi glaze, tobiko Southside Mai Tai -white rum, pineapple, guava, lime, dark rum float

Stopped at this location before our beach adventures on the south side. We happen to find parking on the street, we got lucky! Walked a block to get to this restaurant. We were greeted and seated at a location near the bar. I forgot her name, she was the sweetest person ever. She was a bartender and playing waitress at the same time that morning. She took our order immediately, we ordered Ramen Soup and a loco moco plate. Received all within the 10 minute mark. Service was fast! Kudos to the cooks. Took a bite out of both entrees. They were both delicious! Rice was fresh with hot gray flowing and sunny side up eggs were on par. The ramen was warm and tasty as well. The broth was fullfilling. No complaints on the food and Service. All was excellent. Our bartender/waitress did and exceptional job. I asked her questions about the road to hana as well as WHALE adventures excursions. I stated we booked $49.99 excursion to see whales on the quicksilver boat. She gave us insights to sit in the back and what to watch out for. Her character is what a restaurant should have, friendly, outgoing and funny. I wish I got her name. Big Kudos to her! Overall, this is Kihei's Hidden Gem by the coast. Good food and Great customer service. Stop by, you won't be dissapointed. :)

I got the flatbread salad and it was surprisingly delicious. Perfectly dressed with a crispy flatbread and layer of hummus. Honestly was amazed! I also ordered a top shelf mai tai, highly recommend. The service was great too. Very good experience overall.

I believe it was the best food we had during our visit to Maui during this Christmas week! And we went out every night.

Casual spot and a great selection of cocktails and mocktails. Our server Maria was great and attentive. We ordered a round of Mexican Candy shots for the table to start. The lime n da coconut drink is yummy: coconut rum, coco real, lime juice, mint, soda For entrees some notable Items were the- coconut crusted fish sandwich $20.5 - asian peanut slaw, pineapple, mango chutney, cilantro aioli chimichurri grilled salmon $33.25-coconut crusted shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, smoked tomato coulis, bok choy, tropical fruit chutney If you are very hungry and want something GUY FIERI approved go for the: beer can chicken $36 -bacon brussel sprouts, boiled potatoes, hoisin soy citrus glaze. They have happy hour all day everyday if you are a local.

All around excellence. Staff is amazing, knowledgeable, friendly. Setting is great- no beach view, but three entirely different seating areas depending on your mood. Front deck is full sun, back deck is shady and cool, inside is chill and lovely. Also bar area which is terrific. Cocktails and food are amazing. One of the better maitais you'll find on the island in my experience!

Time for an updated review. We like coming to Three's for Happy Hour and their small plates, and drinks. Patio service is fast and friendly. A new feature this time was a table top battery 'horizontal fan' that twirled to keep flies and other flying bugs shooed away! We had a variety of small plates with Margaritas and Mai Tai. Coconut Shrimp, Fish Taco, Portobello Mushroom Cap, and small Unagi and Avocado Rolls were our plates in April 2025.

Ate here twice during our trip. Had sushi and apps both times. It was amazing. The drinks the first night were outstanding but the second visit during the afternoon they were mid. Sat on the patio and it was lovely. Service was excellent both visits. The volcano roll is delicious!

Since we were visiting Maui, we had to stop by Three's Bar and Grill to see what it was all about. The food exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety of dishes inspired by Hawaiian cuisine. I personally ordered the Loco Moco, which consisted of two beef hamburger patties atop eggs and rice, all smothered in a rich mushroom gravy. I mean, what more could you want? A protein-packed dish with gravy--just thinking about it makes my mouth water! My wife got the ramen with the chicken broth which was also really good. Pros: The service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive and answered all my questions about the menu, which I especially appreciated since I can't have tomatoes in my food. Cons: The only downside was that the service was a bit slow--it felt like it took forever for our dishes to arrive. The prices here are on par with other restaurants in the area, at least in the more touristy parts of Maui. The ambience is a unique blend of bar, Hawaiian culture, and cabin vibes--if you can picture that--and it was well-decorated. If I return to Maui and find myself in the area, I would definitely visit this place again without hesitation.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly. The service was friendly and the food overall was decent. We enjoyed most of what we ordered, except for the coconut shrimp and the beer can chicken -- both of which were underwhelming. Happy hour prices were reasonable, which was a plus. One disappointment: they don't offer a dessert menu, and since it was my birthday, I was hoping to end the meal with a cake or sweet treat.

So many of them!! It's fun to watch them and talk to them (they do talk back!!). The vibe of this place is amazing! The birds are loud and about from 5-6ish. After 7pm it was pretty quiet but beware they will poop randomly so much sure you don't get any on you! The drinks omg we were addicted to the Bird of Prey! Over a week we had over 30 of those . Definitely recommend that drink if you like something fruity and chill! The food was amazing! Like everything was soooooo good! My favorite was the Japanese A5 Wagyu! Definitely get that if you don't mind splurging a bit! One of the best steaks I've had in my life! The prawns skewer were huge (beware it has all its body parts if that grosses you out) and they were cooked to perfection and the flavor was great! The salmon hand rolls were another level of salmon! Yummmm is all I gotta say! P.S. the hotel wailea burger is really good as well and that patty is thick! It has an interesting flavor cause it's dry aged so if you are not a fan of that then don't get that as it's a flavor! But def worth it and filling! The staff were great and helpful in suggesting items and they are quick! Do order the drinks in advance if the place is packed and everyone goes ham on those drinks! Will definitely be back next time we visit!

However, when you have to wipe the dust off of your dipping bow and plate, that kinda concerns me. The outdoor tables are located under a tree. Who knows where the "dust" came from. Strike 1. Unfortunately, there were no oysters. It was actually a bit tough to find a place with oysters in Maui (shoutout to Fleetwood's). It was perfect because we ended up just wanting a light dinner, and this restaurant has tapas and small portions. Not a bang for your buck, by any means, though. I was a bit bummed because I wanted a specific appetizer (similar to a wagyu beef tataki), but they did not have it. Instead, I got the hamachi carpaccio, which was still good. I also ordered a spicy rainbow roll. You could tell that the fish was very fresh on top, but the roll itself was just decent. Not worth the $25 and it was also not spicy. I think my favorite food item was the karaage. It was crispy, tender and the sauce was the cherry on top. I am looking at the menu and I realize that a lot of these cocktails are new, which is another bummer because I would have loved to try all of them (guava mojito, spicy lilikoi mezcalita and vana colada -- yes please!) The restaurant itself is so cute! There is definitely a rustic vibe to it. It could look like a treehouse because there's a big tree in the middle and string lights. It is an outdoor restaurant, and there is an extended outdoor section as well that has a little more secluded feel. There's a bar area, but it is a bit small.

Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants on Maui, recommend you try one of those.
