    Drunken Fried Rice
    Frank D.

Well recommended by the Blue Book and close to our condo. Service was fast and efficient. Bottle of ice water for each table. Medium spice was just about right for us. My wife liked the pumpkin curry so much sh would not share. The Drunken Fried rice had lots of vegetables mixed in that were perfectly cook and not soggy. The Phuket fantasy was an assortment of very good seafood. Total before tip and tax including 1 beer and a Mai Thai was $85.

We came here because it was closeby and there were so many reviews. We got a variety of dishes and none of it was good. Worst Pad See Ew I've ever had in my life. The seasoning was terrible and the noodles were not good. All the dishes that were served were very mediocre. The meat was very chewy but in a bad way. I was honestly pretty disappointed because I wanted a great meal for dinner but left with disappointment.

I'm a big fan of Thai food and I self-claimed that I have pretty high standard of Thai cuisine! This Thai restaurant is above and beyond my expectation, not only authentic but also quite tasty! We finished every single dish and the service is also efficient and attentive, highly recommended!!

    Drunken Fried Rice

We were craving Thai food for dinner, and didn't feel like going out, so we ordered over the phone for pickup. I got the Drunken Fried Rice, my bf got Pad Ki Mao, and my friend and her husband got Pad Thai and some curry. We all enjoyed the food; it was all flavorful. I ordered 5 stars, and you can actually taste some spice. My friend has a lower tolerance to spicy food, so she actually thought my dish was pretty spicy. Still enjoyed it as leftovers the next day

Pad Thai. A different change from eating lots of fish on the island.

Dinner or lunch, both are great for a nice change from eating fish on the island. The service is great and it's a chill place in the back of the shopping center.

Tom Kha Soup (Coconut) Yellow Curry and pad thai

Amazing food, traditional and high quality. I was so satisfied with my meal. We got the vegetarian pad thai, chicken yellow curry, tom kha soup and thai iced tea. everything was phenomenal. If you're looking for authentic thai food on the aina i highly reccomend Maui Thai Bistro.

    SEAFOOD PAD SE Pad See-Ew
    Tiffany H.

This place serves 100% authentic Thai food. I ordered the seafood pad se ew which consists of shrimp, squid, and scallop. Absolutely delicious! The squid & scallop were so soft and not super chewy. I also ordered the Thai tea which was not that sweet and was good. The restaurant was very clean and staff were friendly. Overall id come back and recommend everyone to come here!

    Pumpkin Curry with chicken

Their dishes were deliciously prepared. We ordered the papaya salad, pumpkin curry with chicken, pad Thai, eggplant dish and the drunken stir fry. I enjoyed the pad Thai with shrimp the most. Service and ambiance is comparable to many like restaurants.

Very casual place. Comfortable, can wear shorts and tees! The food is excellent. Been going there for over 10 years. Every time I come to Maui I go there for dinner at lease once per trip. Had the seafood mix; scallops, prawns, calamari, mahi-mahi. So much food I had to take half home for next day. The crab wontons are excellent too! That's what I ordered this evening! Everything we've had has been good. Give it a try if you like Thai food.

I was visiting the island and I saw this place near by the beach. I was disappointed , the food had no flavor whatsoever. We picked this up to have at the beach and I was sad that I had dry noodles and had no option to get a side of sauce since I didn't eat there. My partner got the fried rice and a same thing no flavor. My cousin got the pumpkin curry and that was delicious I wish I had gotten that instead.

    Kao Soy Noodles
    Todd M.

Just wanted to add another dish to try. Their famous Kao Soy noodles. Kind of like laksa. Ramen noodles, chopped cucumbers, tomatoes and red onion with some crispy noodles. The broth is like yellow coconut curry. Very tasty and I was very pleased with my lunch. Also got a Thai tea and that was great as well.

    Papaya Salad
    Abbie R.

Everything was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful. The space was clean and open and not too crowded while we were there, early on a Sunday evening. The food was delicious! We arrived during happy hour and ordered the green papaya salad to start, and received $2 off for HH. We enjoyed the pineapple curry with ahi and the pad ke Mao with shrimp, both medium spice and asked for some extra on the side. It was the perfect temp for us and the extra allowed us to dial it in for our taste buds. Definitely recommend.

When in Maui, we stumbled on this little bistro, on a late night! It is cute, well decorated, good service, tasty drinks and huge sized dishes. Highly recommended.

Anyone know why the green curry can't be made vegan-- on the menu pictures it says only the yellow one can?

I think it's because they use fish sauce on other curries except yellow.

By the time you're up to bat, ready to order, a table seems to magically open up and wait times for your food ( which they bring to your table) are very minimal. We tried their quinoa, roasted veggie bowl with grilled shrimp and it was flavorful and well-seasoned but comforting after a long travel day. We also liked their burgers so much that we tried them 2x with different toppings. They also make very tasty (crispy) fries and we both loved their roasted beet, goat cheese salad. Since our condo was pretty close by, we opted for take-out one time and, ordering ahead online and pick-up was a breeze.

Such unique combinations and everything was so fresh and cooked so well and just mind blowing! Husband and I kept saying how we should have just gone there multiple times for food! Set at the far end of South Maui Gardens, the outdoor seating gives it a relaxed but special ambiance. For our 30th anniversary, my wife and I shared the smoked tomahawk steak family-style, along with black garlic roasted rice, pickled carrots and onions, and a roasted vegetable medley with a beautiful spice mix. Every bite was outstanding -- perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and clearly crafted with intention. Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants on Maui, recommend you try one of those.
