I'm gonna start with how the service here is so good so much aloha. Food: Was ok, it wasn't bad but nothing crazy? I was hoping for a "Wow" since they're pretty pricey but the place I've been to has been better tbh. What a beautiful view and set up it felt expensive and good for an anniversary or romantic occasion.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The presentation was very nice and the food was fresh and flavorful. The menu offers a wide range of classic American breakfast favorites -- omelets, eggs, bacon, mango and Portuguese sausage, loaded fries, mochi pancakes, pastries, and fresh fruit -- all prepared beautifully. Also was served guava and orange juice mimosas which were included! While I would have liked to see more local Hawaiian flavors featured, everything we ordered was delicious. The dining area was separate from the buffet area so not cluttered like most buffets. The staff were warm and attentive, and parking was validated. The only disappointment was that, as non-resort guests, we weren't offered lanai seating despite a few open tables. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We came here for the MELTING HOT CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE Hot Molten Center | Raspberry Coulis with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream! It did not disappoint. Service was excellent. All staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating to our visit from beginning to end of our night. The ambiance was fancy upon arriving to the hotel lobby. There is a great view of the pool area from the outside seating. I would recommend for date night, special nights or occasions. It is a little pricey if you're on a budget.

Perfect place for sunset dinner! We sat outside and had a fantastic view. Perfect service by Anna! Food was spectacular! Started with the Mongolian ribs (my favorite), Brussel sprouts and salad. All pleasing and appetizing. The garlic crusted ahi (Anna's favorite), and the Butterfish were so fresh and delicious. All dishes were good for sharing (huge portions!) Anna offered to split the dishes in two for sharing which was perfect. Anna was amazing. She was so charming and knowledgeable about each dish, and patiently answered all our questions about the food. She seemed to really enjoy what she was doing, with professionalism! A bit pricey, but all worth it! I recommend!!!

Oh Chef Roy, we have followed you so faithfully through our adult lives...we had a disappointing night at your Humble market kitchen. We arrived for Aloha hour, the California roll had a barely detectable amount of crab meat. The ribs were so salty they were inedible. We liked the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts app. The wings were passable but not remarkable. Wait staff and cocktails were great, still the winning mai tai.

Shout out to the staff at Humble Market Kitchin. We celebrated my moms 66th birthday and Cody and Nalani was our servers. The food was excellent and the service was amazing! I can't thank you all enough for the hospitality. Immediately we felt welcomed and appreciated. Everything was on point, it has been my second time here and it always exceeded expectations. Thank you to the cooks who just made those delicious desserts, all of them were perfect... what a way to end our night! Thank you Humble Market Kitchin!! Definitely coming back next visit!

I LOVE IT HERE!! The menu is amazing and the desserts are out of this world. The booth views are awesome. The service is always on point. Mitch is an especially great server! I'm never disappointed. This is tied for my #1 favorite restaurant on island (with The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea).

We dined at Humble Market Kitchen the day before Valentine's Day for the first time, and overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our waitress was friendly, though she did forget my tea, and I had to ask a second time. For appetizers, we ordered the baby back ribs and seared ahi, and due to a mix-up, we also received the Maui beef gyoza, which the restaurant kindly comped. The gyoza was actually a great addition, and I really enjoyed it. The standout for me, however, was the seared ahi--it was absolutely delicious and my favorite dish of the night. For entrées, we had the macadamia nut-crusted rack of lamb and ribeye. My husband's ribeye was cooked perfectly medium and was a solid choice. I wasn't as impressed with the rack of lamb, as I personally prefer the lamb chops at Nick's Fish Market down the road. To finish, we shared the chocolate soufflé, which was absolutely perfect--one of the best desserts I've had. While we had a lovely meal, I have to say that given the variety of dining options in Wailea, we're not sure if we'd return, but it was still a great experience with good food and service.

Went for Happy Hour and dinner, the calamari, Brussels sprouts both great happy hour appetizers. The Mai Tai one of my favorites. For dinner I had the spicy sushi rolls, my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both delicious.

I don't usually write reviews, but the service I received deserves recognition. Anna my waiter went so far above and beyond that they completely elevated my dinner and honestly, made my trip to Maui unforgettable. Anna knew the menu inside and out not just listing dishes but describing them in a way that made my mouth water. Recommendations were spot on, it was clear Anna had genuine passion for the food being served. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. Anna anticipated what I needed before I even asked, checked in at just the right times, and somehow balanced professionalism with a warmth that made me feel special. It wasn't just service it was hospitality at its finest. In a place as beautiful as Maui you expect stunning views and delicious food but this level of care and knowledge is rare. Thanks to the waiter, this dinner wasn't just a meal it was a highlight of my trip. If you're lucky enough to get them as your server trust their recommendations and enjoy the ride. Truly 10/10! Special thanks for the Manager stopping by the table so I could share my experience at the end of the meal.

Forgot the name. I think Spicy Dragon Roll.
    Jess B.

The service was great and the location of this restaurant was really close to our room. I had a roll (I believe it was the Spicy Dragon?) and it was okay. The rice was a little too cold and not as soft as I would have liked. The fish and sauces were good. I also ordered a fish dish which I forget the name of, but it was very good. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce paired well with it. The price point was higher than expected.

We celebrated my friend's 64th birthday at Humble Market Kitchin and we enjoyed the service was great. Our server was very personable and funny. Local boy with sense of humor. There were 8 of us ladies and he was very good attentive to our table with the rest of the team. Food was tasty and the presentation was great. Dessert was awesome. The view overlooks the ocean but it was raining. Overall we will be coming again

Food was really good; layered in depth flavors. Our server had a great sense of humor and kept the food quick and often for the babies and toddlers we had. Good view of sunset, and design of Restaurant is beautiful. Hawaiian wood and style. Excellent ambiance with the resort. I live on island and this is a sweet spot.

They serve the food family-style but still high-end which was exactly what we were going for so we were not disappointed. Food came out a little slower than expected and by the time our Korean fried chicken main course came out we were almost full and had to take it togo. The restaurant itself is quite tiny with limited indoor seating, bar seating, and a stretch of patio seating. We were seated at the bar and had two various experiences with the two bartenders that were looking after us - the gentleman who was the bartender was extremely kind and attentive. He was engaging and made small talk with us. The female bartender was quite rude and cold, and I debated removing a star for her poor attitude and service skills. Service aside, my husband and I decided to try a few different items, including the Szechuan garlic noodles, pickled cucumbers, aji tamago, and Lion's Mane salad. All four dishes had wonderful flavor and were the perfect amount to share and leave full without being overwhelmed. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of spice. All in all, it was a tasty meal, but they definitely need to work on their consistency with employee service.

I had Thai-Railway Fried Rice, which has diced, cooked NY steak chunks, in a bed of brown rice, as well as peas, carrots, scallions, Maui onions (yum!), with an egg over easy on top, with toasted onions. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.

We opted for the Omakake (Tasting) Menu along with the Wine Pairing for each course. We knew it would be expensive (prices intentionally deleted), but we felt it would be a wonderful experience. We have eaten at Morimoto at Sea on several Holland America Line ships, including our recent cruise on HAL's Nieuw Amsterdam that has a dedicated Morimoto Restaurant mid-ship on deck 11 -- those meals have always been fantastic. Back to last night. Disappointment #1 -- The wine for the first course arrived 5 minutes before Course 1, the Toro Tartare. The wine had lost most of its coolness, and intended flavor and aroma, by time the dish arrived. Disappointment #2 -- The Intermezzo dish, the Sudachi cucumber sorbet was a bit sour. Other intermezzi that I have had were a slightly sweet, perhaps lime or lemon sorbet. AND they typically were paired with a splash of champagne or a sparkling brut (why not include the Morimoto Dream Rosè?) Disappointment #3 -- Course 5, the Surf & Turf, was bad! The very small portion of the Wagyu beef was Medium Well to Well Done and appeared to have been burnt over a flame. When we told our server, his comment was, "That's why I recommended the Japanese A5 Wagyu [at an additional $80 per person!]." Sorry burnt beef if burnt beef, no matter what the price. Training/Expectations seem low: Where do they get their water glasses? On the discount table at Walmart? These two are different styles on the same table; at least our two were the same style, although different from those two. And the dessert spoons -- two different styles given to us. I expect (and I am sure others also do) a much higher standard at this famous Iron Chef restaurant. DELIGHTS: Course 1 - The Toro Tartare was so tasty. We are used to a tartare to be chopped, perhaps even finely chopped, but this one was made into a puree. The toppings (caviar and rice crackers were tasty, and the rice crackers looked like little sweet ice cream toppings. Course 2 - Red Snapper Carpaccio was liked by someone who does not normally like raw fish. The light sauce added a subtle dash of flavor, and we were able to roll the pieces with chop sticks and heat an entire price at once. Course 3 - Lobster Takoyaki. The three "lobster balls" were served warm, and they were very tasty. A large piece of lobster in each roll was a true delight. Course 4 - Sushi. The 5 pieces of nigiri were Chu Toro, Hamachi, Salmon, Campachi, and Big Eye Tuna. There was a light smear of wasabi between the fish and the rice; I had already asked for more (and hotter) wasabi that I mixed with the soy sauce. We brought a few pieces of the sushi back to the condo for a later snack. Course 6 -- the dessert was so-so in my opinion. Sharon liked it, so it was probably just my tastebuds and not the actual dessert. We had planned to go back to Morimoto Maui next week for a special Wagyu and Wine pairing, but based on last night's Wagyu failure, we have cancelled the reservation. I hope that our next dinner at a stateside Morimoto restaurant (probably Morimoto Napa in 4 weeks) is a much better experience for us.

It has become part of our story, and every visit continues to feel just as meaningful and memorable as the first. The setting is absolutely stunning. Between the beautifully designed interior and the outdoor seating overlooking the beach in front of the Four Seasons, it creates one of the most romantic date-night settings on Maui. The food never misses the mark. We started with an English pea soup that was exquisitely seasoned and beautifully balanced. I followed with the Broiled Miso Marinated Walu, tender, delicate, mildly sweet, served with sesame sauce and crisp cucumbers that added the perfect contrast. The rack of lamb was juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. Dessert was unforgettable: the "Spikey Lemon" calamansi cake with yuzu curd and crunchy meringue, plus freshly baked donuts that arrived crispy, warm, and drenched in a divine chocolate sauce. Pure heaven. But what truly sets Spago apart, and what makes each visit unique, is the front-of-house staff. Over the years we've been lucky enough to be served by both Jeb and Mikayla. Jeb was also our waiter on our wedding night, which made seeing him again feel especially meaningful. He has a rare gift: he makes guests feel genuinely special. His knowledge of the menu is remarkable, he reads the flow of a meal perfectly, and he is charming, funny, and effortlessly attentive without ever being overbearing. What keeps us coming back isn't just the food or the atmosphere. it's the impeccable hospitality. One moment we'll never forget: on our wedding night, after I mentioned I was Austrian, Jeb surprised us with a Kaiserschmarrn. It was unexpected, thoughtful, and one of those gestures that instantly lets you know you're more than just another table. You're valued. Thank you to the front-of-house staff, thank you to the kitchen, and thank you, Wolfgang Puck, for creating a place that has become such an important part of our lives. We'll keep coming back.

The menu photo shows thick pieces of ono, and that's how they've always been served in the past. This time, the fish was paper thin and barely filled the bun. It definitely wasn't worth the price. I politely asked why the ono was so thin, and I was told, "They're sliders, that's why they're thin." I explained that I've ordered these many times before and they've never looked like this, but my concern was dismissed. I understand portions can vary, but this was a drastic difference from what I've received before. Loyal customers notice when quality and portions change. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning.
