This restaurant and entertainment establishment located in Delray Beach, is just off Atlantic, the Main Street with shops and restaurants. It is paid parking around this area. It was $15 for 3 hours with a parking app or valet for the same price. It was happy hour time when we arrived. I had one well drink $7. We each had the Ahi Tuna Salad $17 and it was so fresh and delicious and a great price. I will definitely get that again in the future. I've been here the last two months for country music and following Whisky Six. The stage is awesome and so is the sound. There is so much going on here and there is a huge friendly staff. The owner is a smart cookie who figured out how to get Delray Beach hopping after hours. The country night is a nod to us mature demographic I that enjoys live country music and they even teach line dancing. The food I've tried has been super yummy and there's plenty of bar options. Super fun concept bar in delray. They have live music at night, DJ during the day, Ax throwing, Darts, cornhole, and ping pong. Perfect for hanging with friends or going out for a date. We ordered the pretzel charcuterie board, margarita pizza, and Mac and cheese bites. The Mac bites were a crowd pleaser for sure! The staff is very friendly. The service is a tad slow so just be prepared. Overall this is a pretty big venue and I think they are still staffing up. We arrived at 4:30 pm on a Friday night there was plenty of parking right outside of Throw. If you come after 6pm, most likely you will have to park further away. We booked a cabana with my coworkers, paid 100 upfront. Since we arrived earlier the place was empty and we had a nice server. Once you rent the cabana, you need to reach a minimum $$, we were there before 6:30 and our minimum after the 100$ was 450. It could be a lot but we were 9 people and once happy hour deals ended, we easily reached to our minimum. I think happy hour food options were tasty, we got the sliders, guac and chips, mac&cheese bites. Guac and chips came in a huge plate, there were 3 sliders and mac&cheese bites were very generously served as well. They were out of a lot of beers (corona and some other drafts) which was weird because it was still early friday night. I had champagne but my friends had various cocktails. They mentioned there wasn't enough alcohol in the cocktails. We tried the axe throwing and it was so much fun, you need to pay 20 per person for 30 mins and sign a waiver before you start. There is an instructor to help you out. We had amazing time! It could be dangerous if people are drunk so I suggest you do that before you drink too much. There was live music and it was great, the only downside was we were too close to the stage and we wanted to chat. It became really hard to talk once the music started. Overall we all had a great experience! The inside area is lovely, I have been there many times after 9 pm and it is very packed on the weekends, (the line outside could be very looong) So I suggest going there early to get a good spot! read more

Throw Social is like a modern, trendy, tropical paradise. It has neon lights with catchy sayings, a gorgeous tile floor, and adorable drink accessories. They have several areas set up for seating , three bars , and areas with different games. There is also frequently live music and a huge area for a dance floor. My favorite feature was the cabanas overlooking the entire outdoor area. They are available for reservation and look like the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday! The menu is amazing. Classic cocktails as well as tropical, fruity drinks to quench your thirst on a hot day. My favorite drink is definitely the blue Hawaiian. Food was also excellent. I tried the large pretzel and loved the honey mustard that came with it. They also have games for people who want to get out of the house but aren't in the mood to just sit around. Axe throwing was thrilling and very fun. The guide was nice and helpful. My absolutely favorite thing about Throw is Yappy hour!!! Finally a place in Delray that welcomes pups and actually designates a time to enjoy a drink with your furry friend. They even have dog treats behind the bar! They brightened the place up a lot and lots of fun things to do.. darts, board games, corn hole, and Axe throwing to name a few. The staff was attentive, helpful and always pleasant and they were always available. It was nice to see that they had the right amount of people working for the demands of a multi-party venue. Throw Social has the looks and the vibes of a great daytime/nightlife spot. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was ok. The cocktails were good but pricey. Pricey is the emphasizing point as you should be ready to shell out a couple of C-notes if you are planning to knock back a few drinks. The space used to be the site of a steak house, and Throw Social has used every bit to make it fashionable, incredibly instagram-able, and fun. From the grass walls on the north side of the space to the neon-lit signs with various catch phrases, as well as the dart board lanes, Throw Social is designed to bring some friends for a good time during happy hour or the weekend. They make great use of the outdoor space with a stage for live music and dance parties, two additional bar areas, high top and cabana seating, where you can spread and enjoy the scenery. Cocktails are very good but surprisingly expensive ($15-20 a cocktail, which recalls some of the bars I have frequented in Palm Beach on the island). While most spots in Delray and other areas tend to charge $12-14 a cocktail, Throw Social is on the upper end for sure, so be warned as the drinks go down very easy. Don't get me wrong, the Paper Plane and Old Fashioned were delicious, but for $20 with the former, there has to be some sort of gimmick or secret ingredient to justify. The Teriyaki Burger was very good, while my wife has the gluten-free flatbread and enjoyed that. I was still hungry afterwards, so went with the wings and was disappointed. Soggy but flavorful, I can't justify ordering them again, especially with the $21 price tag. Again the wings are way more expensive than what you see at other spots locally. You could argue this comes from the supplier and the quality of meat, but still. Next time I'll probably grab a flatbread. The service was solid. Our server was very helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had what we needed, specifically with napkins. He did well considering he had a few tables to cover and it was a decent crowd in the outdoor section where we sat. Overall, I do like the place. It's definitely a fun spot to stop on a Delray bar crawl for sure, given its location to Racks next door and down the street from Salt, Office, Park Tavern, and Roccos. It exudes great potential and aesthetically it's very charming. It's super instagrammable and has drinks you'd want to take pictures of. My favorite drink of the night was the wine spritzer. The live band was also really great and interactive with the crowd which we love to see. The drinks are however expensive. However, I can acknowledge that this place has not been open for even a week yet so they have a lot of kinks to smooth out. They should start with their staff because every single experience was bad with staff. Entering the building was enough to make me want to leave. Bouncer tried to take my ID and laughed at me saying it was fake. Let people younger than me enter without saying anything to them. I can understand being suspicious of an ID without being rude. I was able to match up all of my credit cards to my ID and my address before I got a major eye roll and handed it back. The bartender inside seemed to be the opposite of thrilled to be there and once again we almost left but the appeal of the live music outside made us stay. We ordered food outside on one of the couches but again getting a waiter to even look in our direction was such a long process - including both of the men in our group approaching the bar to try to order. We ordered the burger, Margherita flatbread, and teriyaki burger. Another thing to note is the tables outside are made of wicker, so they have a glass overlay to protect the table. The glass sheet is not secured down, so when a waitress bumped into it my whole flatbread went flying all over the ground. They offered to remake it but by the time it got out there 25+ minutes had past. On the way out the same bouncer looked at our group and said "have a great day" and when he immediately didn't get a response he yelled out "OR NOT". I personally think this place could be so fun and such a vibe, but everything is disorganized and the people working really ruined my experience time and time again. Oh, a renewed review is long overdue as I have become a regular here with a NO COVER policy on a normal evening of fun!! This place showcases a variety of bands. I've come to see my favorites: Crush Company, Smokin Aces, Rubixx, and recently Steve Memmolo from the Voice! My friends and I are always able to find a table and seats on most nights without having to to sit at the bar. Food: I sample Happy Hours for the food offerings and this place does not disappoint! I usually want something hefty as my dinner. My favorite is their pork sliders tray with fries. There are 3 and topped with pineapple slices! Delicious! Service: Needs to be more consistent at the tables in front of the stage. I usually go into the inside bar for my orders for convenience because they are more attentive with less traffic. Throw Social has a lot more to offer than I use the venue for. They have games in the back and darts inside. I'm usually here for the live music and lots of laughs with friends. I like it when the fans are on outside because it's Florida!! It's a unique inside outside venue with 2 restroom options. More than any bar or restaurant in this area. We booked a reservation for a cabana for our friends bachelorette. We had to give a deposit- which you don't get back regardless of whether you show up or not. It's not applied to your bill- it's simply to hold your cabana. With the cabana we had to guarantee we spent $450 minimum. Our server nick was great. He was friendly and helped us out. It was the Kentucky derby so they had a hat contest and some other things going on. The drinks were good and the food was good. We were disappointed because we wanted frozen drinks and for some reason the machine kept needing a break so we really didn't get have any frozen drinks besides one round during our 3 hour stay there. They also had no jalapeños for spicy margaritas and a few other things. It was early in the morning so we thought they'd have stuff but they were out of a lot. Lots of substitutions. The manager was very apologetic though and comped our first round of drinks due to this. So all was made right by us! You also can only order from the brunch menu from 12-3 and we wanted the regular menu so we had a much smaller selection and most of it is eggs. Very cute inside though. This is my second time going to throw social for happy hour. The first wasn't super memorable but I made a vow to do a review this time as I did remember they have a great happy hour. I parked behind the building parking fees aren't terrible I paid $10 for 2 hours. Upon entering we were greeted by the host who let us know about happy hour and seating options. We chose to sit at the first come, first serve high tops on the outside patio. Our server was Patrick, he was friendly and attentive. We ordered the burger sliders, Mac and cheese bites, and chips and guacamole. We got the happy hour margaritas as well. They have a pretty good happy hour deal, go early as it gets kind of packed. The food is decent, kind of get what you pay for, cheap eats and cheap drinks. I did notice some private cabana-ish areas and another area sectioned off for a party. Beatles on the Beach was one of the best festivals we've enjoyed in Delray Beach. Because of this festival, we finally made it to Throw Social. The last time we threw an axe, we were at a Viking dinner in Iceland! The staff at Throw Social were great. The stage lighting could be improved. It's colorful, but lights don't focus on the musicians. We saw Kiss and She Comes Home (a Beatles cover band from Finland). It was definitely an odd but enjoyable segue. The sound system was good. We enjoyed the drinks too. We didn't have any food. Good food and drinks. Very cute place for photos. However we were waiting for a server to greet us for an hour. Not even a, "Hello someone will be right with you." It's self seating and plenty of servers passed by us and avoided eye contact. I smiled at a tall blonde girl and she ignored me. Went to the bar and politely asked if he could get a server to our table after we waited 30 minutes. Still waited 30 minutes afterwards and no server. The only reason why we had a server was because a bus boy saw us waiting and gave us a menu himself and asked a girl to get to the tables inside. She took the table next to us order and walked past us even though we were staring and waiting for her to serve us because we were waiting way longer than anybody else sitting inside. My husband had to stop her in her tracks and say excuse me for her to take our order. Not sure if it's because we look like we weren't going to tip (which we did...) but seems like the servers were focused on large parties with older wealthy looking people. We should've ate something for breakfast because we were starving through Sunday brunch and didn't even get greeted until brunch was over and it was dinner time. Servers seemed very snarky this time and the only reason why we didn't leave was because we've had the food and drinks before and it's good. Nice ambiance too.
