This is a very cool and fun place! I've wanted to try axe throwing for a while and was glad to finally check this place out with some friends. Throwing is honestly not as hard as I imagined it would be and it's much more fun! The staff here is very nice and willing to help. Football bowling on the other hand was much more difficult to me. The distance between pins is pretty far. My advice with this place is to not get drunk while throwing and don't throw axes with drunk friends. That could end in a disaxeter :) read more

This is a joint review for Throw Social and Kick Axe Throwing which is located in the same building downstairs. I visited on saturday evening with my friend around 7:30 pm. We had food and drinks at throw social and after eating decided to go downstairs to see what the scene was at kick axe throwing. After spending sometime playing some of the games we wanted to go back upstairs because it was hot down there. When we went to the elevator to go back upstairs an employee said we couldn't use the elevator anymore and had to go outside down the stairs and to take the elevator that way to come back into throw social. That seemed weird... When we went outside we had to pass by the bouncer again and he said it was a $10 cover charge to get in now. We had been here since 7:30pm and now we had to pay a cover charge?! This was my first time coming here. Had a really great time. I booked a cabana for 2hrs & a an hour of their 'football bowling' for my bf's birthday. He really enjoyed it all. The cabana was great and we had a blast with the game. Our server Cameron was amazing from start to finish. She treated us with a huge smile and positive attitude and helped us with everything we needed. Very personable. The food was decent so that's the only reason for the 4/5 stars but other than that. This was a cool little get together. Most of the seating on the second floor is first come first serve so keep that in mind on the busy days like Friday. If you don't get there early, you will likely be outside. I think I would have much more fun here when it's warmer. Another thing is there's really no order to getting a drink or food. It takes so long you have to grab a bartenders attention at the bar While they are trying to work 50 other people around you. The wings were good. The mac & cheese balls were good. They were out of the sauce that it goes with though, so that was a bummer. My buddy had the flatbread pizza which she enjoyed. the nachos were basic. I only had a sprite but my friends that had alcohol said the drinks were OK just a little strong. I would go back but with the right expectations. This place was packed but you never felt like you were long for anything. We chose ax throwing and had fun competing with another group. It's about $31 each for an hour of throwing. And don't worry they go through safety and has an employee there with you the whole time. They have one bar down stairs and one upstairs where the other activities are. On the second floor, there's cabanas and plenty of seating. We didn't rent a cabana. It just happened to be one open when we got there. It's a good time. I asked twice- first time I was ignored the second time, the bartender served several couples before our group. (Mind you we were there first). This place has so much potential- but the staff absolutely ruin the experience. If I was the owner, I'd fire all the staff and find new and quality staff members. Service and Ambiance; I contributed to an evening of fun for my family however come to find out this morning that the evening was a dud, due to the choices of a waitress. Out of her control, the A/C was broken, we secured a VIP section, needless to say it was a sauna in the place, the ladies requested a fan in their VIP section to offset the discomfort, which was met with disdain by the waitress. There was an offer by management to reduce the cost of the VIP section due to the inconvenience, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, this was met by retaliation in degradation of service by the waitress. The waitress would not provide her name and used explicit language and derogatory names for the patrons, the birthday girl was called the 'B' word for complaining about being overcharged, when they were charged more than the agreed upon amount by the manager. Management stated the waitresses name was 'Kay'... possibly. Please choose kindness and respect next time Kay, if that is your name. How truly sad. Reserved a Cabana for my fiancé's birthday. I was so excited to surprise him with 8 of our friends, but he ended up not even enjoying it. It was honestly embarrassing. We all tried so hard to like it, but all the vibes were off. Service wasn't the best. Our server kept forgetting drinks and wouldn't come back for like ever. Food wasn't the best. My friend got onion rings that's she didn't even touch bc they were not good. Also, IT WAS SO HOT IN THERE. The rooftop was trashed with garbage everywhere, the bathrooms had no toilet paper, and one of the toilets was out of service. It wasn't even that busy? The drinks in the patron tower had way too much syrup in them. We all were super excited to dance as well, but the DJ towards the end of the night was NOT good and kept playing the most random stuff that you couldn't dance to. Wow. I was skeptical on the food and drinks here because these indoor "adult" amusement parks give me Chucky Cheese vibes... but NOT HERE! The decor is very impressive and I was just looking forward to the Axe Throwing, which was A REALLY GOOD TIME btw, (w/ Justice), but the "upstairs" bar (I think it was Corey & the young lady with a nice rump) were so attentive and welcoming. No metro. Parking was $9 for 2 hours; however, I was informed that they can validate for a reduced fee. Staff is lazy and barely cordial. Food was cold. One bartender, Jade, for many people, is the redeeming factor in the venue. They advertise games but there weren't any set up other than some type of beer pong. Changed their policies, no longer safe or fun. I booked an hour ahead of time and arrived 10 min before our reservation to begin axe throwing with my two friends. When we checked in, I was told that we would have to share our lane with up to 5 other people. This didn't seem safe to me, and they never asked me to do this on any of previous visits. The even stranger thing was that almost all of the other lanes were open. Because we all felt unsafe and thought that it was a bad value $100/hr to have 5 other people throwing in our lane, we decided to leave. Then, getting a refund took about half an hour. The service there is HORRIBLE!!! I went for a Halloween event and it was atrocious. First they said the event was free to get in and when we got there they were charging $30 at the door per person . Then when we got inside we tried to get something to eat and the food was overpriced and disgusting. Literally so much fun, this place is a blast! Came here for a birthday and could not have had more of a blast for a group. You can do axe throwing (kick axe) football bowling (my personal favorite), curling, and so much more. You can also grab drinks and food if you're interested. We noticed the alcohol may not actually be labeled or maybe the bartenders were very busy for our time but for example, we love gin and tonics with specific brands but it definitely was well/watered by taste. This was look experience and definitely a social experience with food, fun, music, and games on the main floor and top floor. There was nice outdoor setting with an outdoor bar. WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this location for my birthday with a reservation for a section. My reservation was for 8 people with a food & beverage minimum of $500. We were met at the entryway with being told it was a $20 cover charge. I mentioned I had a section instead and was greeted by the front end team with them jokingly saying that I did not have a reservation. I laughed it off with them but felt weird about the whole encounter. Afterwards, we went inside and the temperature was 94 degrees due to their AC being broken which has to be an OSHA violation. It felt like a sauna inside. We sat down in our section and had to ask for a fan. With the fans it made no difference. I really wish the front end team would have told us this prior to us being seated, however the communication was done very poorly on their part. That being said I asked management to move us to an outside cabana if possible where they shortly came back to us with none being available. I then asked the manager and the waitress (Kaylynne) to lower the minimum to $400 which they agreed as long as the waitress was tipped. For the entire duration of our section, our waitress (Kaylynne), barely came over to check on us. My guests asked for a refill on water and sprite several times before she actually brought it out to us. Upon looking for her while burning up and not having water to cool us down I noticed her dancing and taking shots with the section next to us as she consistently walked pass us and being avoidant. She only refilled our water pitcher one time out of a 4 hr time frame with 8 people needing a drink. At the end of our night she brought a bill which was $116 more dollars than the agreed amount. When we stated this made no sense she said her manager was gone now and that she has our card on file already. She also stated she would not apply my military discount as this would affect her overall tip at the end of our night. I then got up to find someone else for help as this was unacceptable since there was a sign on our table that showed a 10% military discount. I asked for a receipt and she refused to give me one. She started yelling and cursing me and my guests out. She was clearly drunk on the job. I asked her for her name and I was met with blatant disrespect from her telling me to "get tf out my face". Throw Social and their staffing are extremely unprofessional. Security had to hold the waitress back while all we wanted in the end was our receipt to ensure the final pricing and avoidance of being scammed any further! read more

Organizing a corporate event from out of town can be stressful however working with Marchela made it a breeze! She was always responsive, helpful and very professional!
