If you're looking for a plumber, stop reading reviews and call Gregg…read more Gregg and his son were fantastic! They spent about 4 hours at my home and fixed everything we had them here to do. They also wore booties and masks at our request. We had a slow but annoying leak in our Master shower for years. Two other plumbers couldn't fix it. Gregg knew exactly what it was from the get-go, took the thing apart and made the repairs. We also had two old, leaky toilets rebuilt. Gregg is a smart guy, knows his trade, communicates well, and is honest. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend him and his company. Plumbing Doctors & Install will be my Only call in the future for any plumbing needs.

We were overwhelmed by all of the products, but Gregg helped us navigate the different products. He was able to identify which products were good to place inside the home vs outside of the home (we needed something that would sustain the hot summer Florida heat). Once we identified the products, he came by to do a free consultation. We realized there was no electrical box to plug our outside unit... Gregg was able to install the electrical box, the water softener, and the reverse osmosis all in one day. He was respectful about coming in and out of the house, completely professional, and reliable! We would recommend using his company! Thanks Gregg! - Andrew & Mary

Harvey visited to provide…read moreestimate, advised on options for replacing existing compact unit or installing new larger water heater in garage. Explanations were clear and comprehensive. On installation day the office called to confirm I was ready to support. Installers Wayne and Zack arrived on time, worked efficiently and carefully to avoid damage and keep work area clean. Removal of old unit was unusually difficult, requiring some disassembly of cabinetry which was done carefully and reassembled afterward. Wayne and Zack cleaned all areas affected and new unit solves the problem. This is my second experience with Harvey baker Plumbing and I expect to call on them for a much larger future job (decommissioning septic tank/field and connection to city sewer). Harvey, office staff and installers were all honest, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I have used Harvey Baker Plumbing for almost 20 years and have usually been very satisfied with the…read moreservice. This time was no exception given the technician, Juan, was amazing. He properly took care of an outside faucet issue that was "repaired" previously 24 months before. I noticed my outside faucet was slightly spraying water from the "repair part" recommended two years prior. In April 2024, I called Harvey Baker Plumbing to fix this faucet as it was leaking from the knob at the time. A young gentleman came and said he did not have the part on his vehicle to replace it (something to do with the pipe size), but he could "repair" it. However, I would not be able to turn the water on and off from the faucet knob. He said the nozzle at the end of the hose would serve as the on/off mechanism. When I discovered the current leak, I called and the receptionist said she could get someone out between 12-2 the next day. I explained the previous situation above and said I definitely want the faucet "replaced" this time. She looked up my previous invoice and said she would note on the ticket the faucet should be replaced rather than repaired. Next day, she called again and said she could have the technician come out earlier if I was available. I said I was and Juan came 15 minutes later, a little after 10am. He was a joy to work with, smiling and providing great conversation and expertise! I explained everything and he said he had the necessary part to rectify the leak. He did a great job. When I got the invoice, I noticed the parts only cost $33 compared to the "repair" part of $10. I was surprised the previous gentleman couldn't drive 4 miles to the office to get the necessary part and recommended the "repair" instead. I estimated I could have saved approximately $200 of labor charges had the work been properly completed the first time. I would have requested the previous technician get the necessary part had I known the difference in part costs was minimal. At least the "repair" lasted 2 years. I will probably continue to use Harvey Baker Plumbing in the future, but I'll make sure I request a more seasoned technician like Juan next time. Final note - Harvey Baker Plumbing now charges a 3% credit card fee on the invoice, which was not their practice previously. It was not a big deal to me ($7.75), and I understand a family business would prefer cash or a check. If I have a major plumbing issue in the future, at least now I am aware of the added fee.

House fixing adventure!!!…read more Had a leak needed a plumber found DDS on... Of course YELP!!! Jesus was very responsive and even had a phone conversation with me to explain the pricing. Pricing was very fair!!! Jesus found I have a leak in my slab and he was very honest. He quoted me our piping was very old and he could fix the leak in the slab for 800$. He then informed me that if he fixed the leak it may not just be this time. He said I could end up with a leak somewhere else and then I'd pay another 800-1k to fix a second leak. He then suggested doing a repipe. I thought here we go, but then Jesus said he doesn't do tripping, but if it were his house he would put the band aid $ towards the repipe. He even made calls to try to get me set up with his old company, but the person he called no longer worked for the company. I told him it was ok and thank you for trying. He charged 285$ for the service and high tech listening equipment. Which I felt was a fair price. I have gone with re-piping my house with repipe specialists. I will review them as well. Fortunately, They give a 25yr warranty of the piping and lifetime workmanship. Unfortunately, I will not have the need for Jesus' services anymore b/c of the warranty, but you should def call him if you are in need of an honest caring plumber. As always we never want to deal with these home challenges, but if you end up needing a plumber... CONTACT JESUS ON YELP!!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Vega & Son AC Heating and the Pastor for ABBA…read moreNATION CHURCH. On August 5, 2024, I paid Mr. Vega $2400 via electronic transfer for a new AC unit, with a promised installation date of August 10. I even arranged for my tenants to be home for the installation. Since then, I've received nothing but excuses and empty promises. Mr. Vega eventually claimed he was in the hospital, and his wife promised I could pick up the unit myself. After waiting an hour and a half at our agreed location, she never showed up and stopped answering my calls. His son Tito also assured me he'd follow up the next day, but I haven't heard back since. When I looked up reviews, I realized I wasn't alone. Two of my friends and several others online have had similar experiences with unkept promises and unprofessional service. My requests for a refund have been completely ignored. I also strongly recommend *not* paying any contractor upfront until the work is done and you're satisfied. It's frustrating that this business can operate without accountability, especially considering Mr. Vega is also a pastor. I would warn anyone looking for honest, reliable AC service to avoid this company altogether.

September 2020, we had a lightning strike our home. All electrical, roof, and AC were damaged…read more Mr. Vega was the person who handled our AC repair. He came, assets the damaged, explained what we need, helped us with the insurance claim, like all the contractors we had working with the situation. Mr. Vega came and installed the AC. After the installation and a few weeks, we were having some heat problems in some house areas. Mr. Vega checked and noticed that the damper was not working. At this point, we already have everything claimed, but we submitted the $625.00 he quoted. Insurance sent the check, and we sent the payment to Mr. Vega on Oct 21, 2020. Here is where our hell starts. Since October, Mr. Vega has avoided us with excuses; there was one time that he spent almost a month without answering our calls or texts. Every time we were able to talk to him, he will say that someone in his family died, or he had covid, or this or that. We requested our money back to hire another technician, but he said he already bought the damper. So we were in his game from October until February. My husband was so upset with this person's irresponsibility, and I didn't want this to escalate, so I call, text and email Mr. Vega until he got back to me and promised to come and install the damper. And same as before, he had us taking days off to be available for him to go and do the installation, but he never came. What he did was that one day we were not home, he came and dropped of the damper (not sure if it has all the pieces), but did drop a box, said he was coming to install it, and never came--started with his promises, and making an appointment that we will never fulfill. At this point, that was it, and we didn't want to see him (and we knew he would never come). I got mad and sent him a text, and he answered that he already dropped the damper and that the 625 was the cost of the damper and was going to install the damper for free, and that he helped us with the insurance. I have the emails and texts (plenty)that we exchange with this individual as proof that all of what I am saying is true, and he knows that is true. We still have the box of the damper and some issues with the AC. Mr. Vega said his works come with one year guaranteed, but you can imagine that is not true after reading this.
