Took my Road Glide in today for its 1,000 mile first service. Was in and out in a few quick hours. Sean and the service team did great!

Had an excellent sales experience with Devon and he answered all my questions and I was given a fair price for my 2023 Heritage Classic Soft Tail purchase. Treated with respect and I felt good about the process and sale. I am from out of state, and was provided temp tags out the door so I could ride. When there was a mix up with my permanent tags, Sean was kind to send me another temp tag immediately, until the permanent tag was straighten out, so I could keep riding! That was great. Sean then went the extra mile and figured out the issue with the permanent tag and got it resolved and mailed to me ASAP. I had to have my 2019 Harley-Davidson softail heritage classic towed to Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson a couple of weeks ago. The moment it arrived and offloaded off of the tow truck, a mechanic was working on it. He found the issue why my battery discharged in probably 15 minutes. I then upon a suggestion of the young lady up front, agreed to have the bike go through a safety check and inspection as I purchased it used from a dealership 2 months prior. It was money well spent and my bike was finished in a couple of days, which almost never happens. It is my go to dealership from now on. read more

I received far better care at Harley Haven... just walk away. My experience included dealing with a rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate individual who outright lied to me about credit and financing. Untimely I walked and got significantly better everything through Harley Haven. Glew is an amazing salesman but if you have to deal with someone other than Chris in finance... just walk away. Harley Haven on 26 is the only place you should go to buy a bike. Ask for Teejay. read more

Great motorclothes and parts displays to browse! Tons of new bikes to see in all configurations. Had service done on a recently purchased used bike, and the service department is about average. The guys are extremely nice, but can tell if you're not planning on spending a ton of money, and don't really "go the extra mile". They just pump you in and out. Had to replace my front brake master cylinder cover 3 days after I paid them to flush my brakes, because they failed to inform me that it was an older style that had been known to have seal failures. They did, however, make sure I gave them a good review on their website, as I was standing there waiting to pay before I could leave. I purchased 2 "new" tires from them for 600 dollars installed. Found out the same day that they date codes on the tires are from 3 years ago. When I asked for an actual new set, I was denied, and told that Dunlop says tires are good for 5 years until mounted. This may be true, but when you are talking about safety, I expect to receive new when new was paid for. Overall, a good parts counter selection if you plan on doing you're own work. I bought a used Harley Sportster 1200cc Custom 2009 from a friend. The friend took particularly good care of the bike, but I expected it would need to go to the shop fairly soon just from age. Sure enough, after a few months of owning the bike, the battery mysteriously drained overnight with no previous signs of fading power. It did this to two batteries in two days. I suspected it was a short, and called Thunder Tower's service department and described the problem. It took three days of continuous calls to get my call returned. I needed to get the bike towed, as the battery was dead. It took them a couple of days, and they told me on pickup that the work may take longer than just a couple a days. Maybe over a week. I told them I understood, and they left with my bike. They called me four days(!) after to tell me that the battery was indeed dead, and that they couldn't really look at the problem until the battery got replaced. I told them that I would buy my own brand of battery, and to hold on until I got it to them, later that day. I became busy and could not make it, so the next morning I called and said that I could not find the time to bring them a battery, and that they could go ahead and order and install a battery themselves. They called back four days later and asked when I was going to bring them the battery. Two weeks(!!!) later I received a phone call telling me that the battery was replaced and that the bike was good to go. I asked them about the short, and if that was what was wrong. The representative over the phone sounded confused at this, and stated that they just replaced the battery, and that there was no evidence of a short. I informed them that the short was killing batteries overnight, and the representative over the phone told me that he had seen no evidence of this. I was confused, but acknowledged his opinion as the Harley expert and told him I would pick it up this evening. Half an hour later, I received a call from the same person telling me that indeed the bike had drained the battery overnight, and that they would have to replace the battery again and fix the short. Several more days passed before I could go there, pay for the work, and leave with my bike. Two months later, the problem has started up again. And again, I have called every day for three days straight trying to get someone to talk to me about getting my bike towed there and the reoccurring problems. I have yet to hear back from them. The only reason I was still trying is because I expect them to fix this issue for me for free since I've *already paid for it*. This whole ordeal is consuming way too much of my time. I've given up and set up an appointment with another local shop. Long story short: Take your bike somewhere else for it to get worked on. They were very hard to reach, took ages to fix a simple issue, and didn't do the job right the first OR second time. read more

Had a very nice visit with the folks at Thunder Tower - we were met very politely by Christy, our salesperson - she knew I was very green when it came to purchasing a Harley so she was very patient and explained everything in detail. We went on a test ride with her as our guide and she proceeded to the spend the next 5 hours with us as we received our "orientation" to the Harley world. I had had bikes my whole life and used many places to get things done. I must say that the experiences I have had here have been outstanding. A lot of times you go to a place and they try to get money out of you. I had a fuel leak on my softail. I took it to them and they identified the leak. I had an o-ring go out. So they fixed it and also found some problems in the fuel tank with a bad line. They fixed everything and did it for way less than the part that went bad in the tank. My bike was not even under warranty. They said that part should not have had a problem. It just goes to show that they are looking after the customer. That goes a long way when working with someone to ensure they keep coming back. Along with that they have a great selection of clothing and parts. The building is very clean and it is a great place to stop and stretch your legs when you are on a long ride. They also do a concert series and it is a great time for everyone it is a family friendly event. read more

Lots of choices of bikes, however horrible service. The salesmen were ok, not much initiative though. And the finance guy was worthless, completely rude! Wouldn't recommend trying to purchase a bike from this dealer. Went to Greenville instead, Class A service there. read more
