The most caring, supportive animal facility in the South Sound. The people and volunteers have the biggest hearts for all animals. The employees go above and beyond for their animals - it's a beautiful and loving place. Thank you for all you do!

I found out later the dog was returned to its owner. Was not even a stray. What a mess.

Healthy Pets Animal Hospital - Romeo

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and doctors at Healthy Pets animal Hospital! Today,…read moremy little dog Romeo jumped off the couch and hurt his leg. I didn't know what to do because I was in shock at the time so I brought him straight to Healthy Pets. Instead of just saying no and sending me to the emergency room they got the doctor out to come look at Romeo and let me know that he is OK and just pull the muscle in his leg. She saved me possibly hundreds of dollars and hours of a wait time at an emergency vet. I just can't thank you guys enough for being there for my little Romeo

Healthy Pets is in a separate building across the driveway, where all surgeries are performed Yesterday I took Max in for his dental surgery. I was rather concerned about the anesthesia, so was quite relieved to receive a phone call after the surgery telling me that everything had gone perfectly. Several hours later I was able to bring him home having had two extractions. Aside from the spot on his leg that had to be shaved, when I got home and let him out of his carrier, one wouldn't even know he'd just had surgery. After 20 years at another vet practice, I'm so glad I moved my cats care to this vet practice. I've found the staff at both buildings, efficient, caring, and totally professional. I was given detailed written post op. instructions in addition to verbal instructions and any questions I had were patiently answered. For those that don't know Healthy Pets is the canine practice and surgery, while Oly Cats is where you take your felines for normal service.

I'm very disappointed in Micah's work and how rushed he was just to get Juno in and out. It only took him one hour when she's usually there for at least four. I will not be booking with Micah again and would not recommend him. We've been taking our dog to Grateful Dog for over a year and have always been happy in the past, but the last couple of appointments have been really inconsistent. This last visit was especially disappointing. I asked for a teddy bear face and got the complete opposite. There were long hairs left everywhere, we had to spend about 30 minutes at home fixing it ourselves, and honestly, I feel like I could have done a better job. It also makes sense now why payment and tips are requested before you even see your dog. The quality just hasn't been the same lately, which is a real letdown after being a loyal customer for so long. Update: I'm also upset because our dog walked in with the perfect length eyelashes, they were so cute and they cut them completely off, leaving like a centimeter. So if you don't want your dog's eyelashes shaved off, make sure you specify before dropping them off.
