However, if it were located closer to Buford or Duluth, where there are many other KBBQ spots, I would rate it a 4. Lunch AYCE ($20 for BBQ or Hot Pot | $25 for both) *You cannot find a KBBQ for $20 lunch nowadays - so at this price point, it's great! Meats are solid. The SK steak is tender and highly recommended. I also enjoyed the brisket and pork belly. The meats were good cuts, without excessive fat. The hot food items are plentiful with japchae, cheese corn, tteokbokki, chicken wings, fried rice, egg rolls, and mashed potatoes. I also saw shrimp cocktail, seaweed salad, kimbap, kimchi, and edamame. For dessert, they have fruit, banana pudding, mango jelly (yum!), and a variety of ice cream. The service was exceptional. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. The bathrooms are clean and well-lit as you make your way there. Overall, we had a great experience and will be recommending this to our wedding guests!

The broth was deep in flavor, piping hot, and the noodles cooked perfectly with a good bite. The banchan - loved the variety and flavors - spicy, sweet, savory. Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???

I think we had a new server who did great! The thing about this place is everyone seems to pitch in at each table to make sure everything runs smoothly. We almost always get the beef bulgogi and the spicy chicken, but there are MANY meat options that we can't usually get to. You can absolutely throw down and get the meat sweats if you are into that. The sides that come with it are to your choosing. Plenty of choices. We love the rice cakes as an app. and, pro tip, order extra mushrooms and seasoning and cook them with the beef. It's delicious! The place is very modern and there are KPop stars/ music streaming on the TVs. I've seen large parties so don't hesitate. There is a full bar with drink specials throughout the week. This place is just fun! The food and service are great. We love it here and will keep coming back!

Ordered the soon Dobu, beef, it came with 4 sides of Banchan which aside from the soybean kimchi, were all pretty mediocre. Ordered a LA Kalbi, a little on the sweeter side, but not complaining, it was charred, crispy and well marinated. I downed everything in a matter of minutes. This restaurant soft-opened in March 2024 and officially opened in April 2024 in the old Breakers Korean barbecue space near the defunct Gwinnett Place Mall, and I-85 at Pleasant Hill Rd (exit 104). It's spacious, but can fill up quick. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables. However, by the time we left, shortly after 1pm, it was packed with people looking for tables. Someone jumped on our table as we were getting up to leave. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Instead, you order at one of two touchscreen kiosks at the entrance and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. Everything is self-serve, from condiments to hot broth. You also bus your own table. Here's what three of us got: B3. Heo [sic] Naengmyeon ($16.99) - spicy sweet potato starch noodles with raw fish (should be spelled "hoe") C3-B1. Naengmyeon and Yuk Jeon ($20.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and thinly sliced beef pancake C1-B1. Naengmyeon and Dwaeji Yang Nyum Gui ($18.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and grilled pork neck D4. Kimchi Son Mandu ($11.99) - handmade kimchi dumplings My wife and I love naengmyeon. We thought Naju's version was good, especially in this fast-casual format. To nitpick, the noodles stuck together and the ice melted too fast. Regardless, I found the noodles to be delicious, refreshing, and satisfying. The spicy version came with a small bowl of icy broth on the side. The raw fish, beef pancake, and grilled pork neck were all tasty and of decent quality. As for the handmade kimchi dumplings, they were legit. Big and filling. In addition to naengmyeon, Naju also offers a variety of Korean soups (e.g., seolleongtang - ox bone soup and gomtang - beef bone soup) and LA galbi (grilled short ribs). During our visit, the pickup counter was staffed by a bunch of ajummas (Korean middle-aged women), basically Korean lunch ladies. I'd come back. This place seems ideal for a quick stop for an easy and reliable Korean meal / comfort food.

During my short time in the Buford area, I've come to this place twice in the last two days. The food brought me back as well as proximity to our hotel, however if I were local, the service would drive me away. The type of staff that seems more, interested in hanging out and talking with each other than actually serving the customers. First day I was here. I got the bulgogi Omurice dish and it was tasty. I expected the omelette actually cover the entire portion of rice (top and bottom like an omelette which it didn't. Nevertheless, served piping hot in the stone dish and the flavors were good and not overpowering, and the portion was large. A decent value. The second day, after learning a lesson from the previous one, my wife and I split the Bulgogi fried rice dish (which she had gotten the day before.) Again, the flavors did not disappoint. The rub came when my cousin and I, who have two Independent families and who paid separately, were bulked together as one large group so that a mandatory service fee could be tacked on. When I asked, they said the computer made them charge the service fee. This is in addition to having the system prompt for a tip in addition. The ironic part is that we weren't even standing next to each other in line. Then if you are going to charge a service fee, we would expect to have some solid service that is pretty prompt. Small things such as being able to get water when and as soon as you sit down (perhaps they were busy?), as well as having the sufficient amount of silverware (perhaps they just miscounted?) and actually people smile when they're helping you (perhaps it was the end of the day and they were tired?). Lots of hypotheticals. Just a higher expectation of service, especially when being subject to this service fee. Nevertheless, the family enjoyed the food. We are in and out and about 45 minutes and I'm leaving town today so it doesn't really matter but if you're looking for great service, this isn't the place for you but if you just need a quick bite to pick up and take back to your home or hotel,, go for it.
