This place used to be 5 stars. Service and food was great before. This night was lacking. We came in and was taken care of. It got busy and our server disappeared for a good amount of time during our stay. Sushi chef came to assist wherever needed. The employees are nice here but the service is lacking. The meat and sushi were good. Sides were lacking. They used to have a potato salad that tasted way better than this. It was lacking flavor. The steamed egg was way over done. We asked for fruit and the oranges were good but no to the pineapples. The fried rice was super salty. My husband loves his fried rice and one bite and he's like that is not it. Food is lacking. Disappointed in our visit here. We came a few times before. Don't know if we would visit again.

What a spread of interesting flavors...

Love the ambiance of this place. Very art decoish'i to me (is that even a word?). Service is fast and the lady serving us is quite the character from Indonesia. Very helpful because I had no idea what I was ordering or even eating but whoa, the flavor, the presentation was amazing and the prices are reasonable. The best part, you cook your own meat. Just awesome! Remember to support your local eateries so we both don't starve...

Came here for lunch after working out with a buddy who loves Korean BBQ. This is a hidden gem. Set back from the main roads, it would be difficult to see this spot without knowing about it previously. We were seated and Hermela greeted us and made sure we had no questions. Got our drinks and we placed an order for two different meats and 3 premium sides. We went with corn cheese, Kim chee fried rice, and Korean fried chicken (4 giant pieces per order). The banchon provided was absolutely delicious. We destroyed lunch. Can't eat as much as we used to, but the highlights were by far the LA Galbi, the salad with sweet and spicy dressing, soy pickled cucumbers, and Kim chee daikon. They have fountain drinks, so refills are covered (as far as we know). Hermela was amazing and made sure we didn't need anything else. Provided some insight into how the crowds usually come. Support small businesses!

Bathrooms are better now. Food was amazing. Salad is a legit 10/10. Bulgogi and filet are my go-to's!

I'm not in Cumming often, but if I am, I would probably stop by Q Korean Steak House again. After a busy day at the outlets, we passed through Cumming on the way back to Atlanta and made a swift detour to Q Korean Steak House. It's not the best Korean bbq in Atlanta, by any means, but I think I was just hungry and impressed with finding any sort of Korean food in Cumming altogether. It wasn't busy when we got there after 9pm on a Saturday, which is understandable, but they ARE supposed to be open until 11pm. AYCE Korean BBQ menu has a 2 hour time limit. Fine by me because I really can't eat as much as I used to. It was also 9pm so... I really liked the selection of side dishes on the AYCE menu. They aren't usually what you find at the traditional Korean BBQ menu in Duluth so I was intrigued. Some were better than others but I really enjoyed the deep fried dumplings and the beef & daikon soup. You can even order bibimbap, although kbbq pros know you shouldn't order more than one serving because it will fill you up Meat quality was a-ok. I wasn't mind blown but my Korean bbq cravings were satisfied by the brisket and bulgogi. There are plenty of meat options to choose from aside from those, as well. Overall, I was NOT mad at this meal at all. The AYCE was $27 (Nov 2021). After tax and tip, it came out to about $40pp (includes splitting a $13 bottle of flavored soju) which was a STEAL. The price has gone up in the past few years of course, but it looks like the current menu shows $31 for the lower tier AYCE menu versus the $25 we had paid. When I'm on the way to or back from North Georgia, Q Korean Steakhouse is on my current restaurant rotation.

This korean BBQ spot is wonderful! Came here during lunch time with my sister and we had a great time stuffing our faces with delicious beef bulgogi . The restaurant is beautifully decorated! There is a gorgeous map of America as soon as you walk in that warms your heart up from the start. I highly recommend trying one of their korean beers ! Our server and manager were on top of their A game working together to meet all the tables needs. I will definitely be back !

Authentic Korean BBQ!! Really fantastic service and the staff was really nice considering that we came close to closing time. Great family restaurant. DEFINITELY order the Wagyu New York strip steak, cut it into strips and cook. AMAZING!! Wagyu bulgogi was fantastic too. I wish they had a nicer dessert option like mochi or something but the fruit was a nice touch at the end. Highly recommend and we will come back!

Me and my friends came here after work for dinner because we were in the mood for some Korean food nearby. The day that we came didn't seem that busy. There were about 5 tables including us. The waitress was nice but seemed like she had too much on her plate. She kinda left us for a long amount of time. So long, that our metal grill plate was burning and smoking from the sauce from one of our meats being cooked. We figured they she must have been the cook as well that night since the next time we saw her she was bringing out our sides which was overcooked and cool. Needless to say, our sides were not good at all. Overcooked, salty, and cold. The meat was mediocre. We had to ask her to change our grill plates every time we cooked another form of protein like shrimp, pork, and beef. I think they get business for being the only Korean bbq in Cumming. I don't think I'll be back. I'd rather drive a little further to eat better quality Korean bbq.

The broth was deep in flavor, piping hot, and the noodles cooked perfectly with a good bite. The banchan - loved the variety and flavors - spicy, sweet, savory. My personal favorites were the broccoli, kimchi, and potatoes. Service was great, attentive without being overbearing. Beautiful interiors in this charming part of Alpharetta.

Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???

(Would absolutely return, but my jeans may never forgive me)…read moreThrill Korean Steak and BBQ - Buford, GA First impressions: We walked into Thrill expecting the usual KBBQ chaos -- screaming tabletop grills, flying lettuce, and that one friend who overcooks everything into charcoal briquettes. Instead we got... vibes? Like, actual nice vibes. The place is sleek, modern, and somehow smells like victory and garlic at the same time. Dangerous combination. Service: 10/10, no notes. We never had to wave anyone down for more banchan, which in KBBQ is basically a miracle on par with parting the Red Sea. Food: Oh honey. * Banchan game: Strong. The kimchi was doing backflips on my tongue, the potato salad was creamy crack, the fried rice cakes were so addictive I considered hiding them in my purse. * Meat quality: Top tier. The pork jowl (samgyeopsal) was so fatty and glorious I briefly considered proposing to it. The "Thrill Prime Ribeye" lives up to the hype -- marbled like a Renaissance painting and basically melts. We also tried the garlic soy marinated galbi and I'm still thinking about it during meetings. Rude. * One tiny gripe: The spicy pork bulgogi could've used another punch of heat. My husband (who thinks black pepper is "wild") loved it, but I wanted it to slap me a little harder. Value: Very solid for the quality. $50ish per person all-you-can-eat and we waddled out feeling like we robbed the place. Pro tip: Pace yourself or you'll hit the meat coma wall around round three and start making bad life choices (see: ordering dessert). Atmosphere: Clean, bright, great ventilation (my hair did not smell like a campfire, which is a first in the history of Korean BBQ). They've got K-pop or the tv playing but not at migraine volume, so you can actually hear your dining companions confess their sins between bites. Verdict: Thrill is dangerously good. Buford finally has a KBBQ spot that can hang with the Atlanta heavyweights, and it's somehow less than 10 minutes from the Mall of Georgia (perfect for post-shopping regret eating). Bring stretchy pants, an empty stomach, and friends who won't judge you when you hit the order your 4 round of meats or drinks. We're already plotting our return. My waistline is filing a formal complaint, but I'm ignoring it.

I happen to be shopping in Alpharetta and I had seen a TikTok review about his place so I decided to try it out. This establishment specializes in chicken. Everything is Korean chicken. I had the chicken sandwich with fries. This thing was huge. There is no way anyone is going to be able to bite down into the entire sandwich at once. I had to break it up into 2 pieces. It has this special sauce and grated pickles. It was so good. The bun was soft and the chicken was crispy. This was the kind of sandwich that would knock Popeyes chicken sandwich out of this atmosphere !!! The place was clean. It was quite a few people enjoying their lunch when I arrived. I was able to get a parking space directly in front of the restaurant and parking is free. You can't miss it and you don't want to miss it.

The…read morerestaurant itself is on the smaller side, so when there are a lot of people, it can get pretty cramped. From my experience, the service is self-serve! Someone brings you the food, but you put up your plates and stuff at the end of your meal. They also have a station for you to grab your own to-go containers and bags. The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.
