Jordan deserves special mention since he has always been outstanding. I don't normally write reviews, but the emergency I had last Saturday afternoon is noteworthy. As I got ready to take a shower in a downstairs bathroom the washer upstairs drained explosively and put nearly an inch of water in the downstairs bathroom. And all three of my toilets added to the water. I called Moore and Meghan stayed assessed the situation and gave me her private number. She didn't have anyone available but did recommend another Plumber in our area. I called them and explained the situation, but by 4 AM Sunday still had no response. Meghan called back and when she heard we were still without toilets, she scheduled Jordan, who came out on a Sunday cleared my drains with their state of the art instument and drain camera and one toilet was working within less than two hours. He then repaired my other downstairs toiletk installing a new complex sealing gasket that he had to run out to a friend for the part on a Sunday. All that and a cheerful attitude and a very reasonable price considering it was a Sunday. Moore has competent staff who take their mission seriously and do not try to up sell or take advantage of an emergency. A 5 Star Rating is not enough. Jim W

Waterfront Plumbing (the father, Vicente) was available and they came out and provided me with a quote $650. Vicente verbally explained that there would be, "extensive digging required to reach and inspect a leaking pipe" in my front yard. Hearing his explanation of the work I assumed this job would require several hours. I agreed based on the description and details. However, To my surprise, there was NO digging literally ZERO, and he finished the job in 45 minutes. When I questioned him about the obvious discrepancy between what was verbally told to me and what was delivered on top of the fact it took less than an hour, I was met with, " you could have gone with someone' else." I was shocked Vicente stood firm on the $650. Lesson learned, we did receive an additional quote for $250-350 for the same work. $10 PVC pipe cost, but again based on the verbal description provided by Waterfront, we believed that the other plumber was grossly underestimating the extent of work required. Then we had a family friend with their own reputable plumbing business (not in SD, but OC) urge us to say something b/c we were definitely over charged. I hope this encourages others to ask for a detailed list of tasks and work on paper with a cost breakdown. I know we'll do that next time.
