I only use one card and get alerts on all my charges, so I know for sure it was Eastfield cleaners. The Apple corporate security called me that a $800 purchase was suspicious, then I got more charges for Papa Johns and others. It's too bad they have shady staff there, because they do a good job on dry cleaning and alterations. Keep an eye on your credit card if you decide to drop off your cleaning here! UPDATE: The owner Mr. Gerald Wright contacted me immediately and will be investigating this incident through his security camera footage and disciplining/terminating the employee. He's also purchasing a wireless payment terminal so customers using drive-thru don't have to hand over their credit cards. I'm very impressed with the owner's concern and immediate attention to this matter and will continue to use Eastfield cleaners.

The dress was in good condition when it was dropped off. When it was picked up, it had a new dark mark and was noticeably shorter than it had been originally. I have before-and-after photos, the original purchase receipt, and cleaning receipts documenting this. We immediately brought the dress back and were told they would speak with the cleaner who handled it and get back to us before doing anything further. I followed up in writing with the information we were promised, but that communication never happened. Instead, I eventually received a text saying the dress was ready for pickup. When I picked it up, it was still shorter and still had a visible mark, although it is now wearable. I calmly explained my concerns to the owner, and the interaction became extremely upsetting. Rather than listening or trying to resolve the issue, he became increasingly defensive, aggressive, and confrontational. He repeatedly insisted that the dress had been covered in stains and spots when it was brought in. That is simply untrue. The dress had been inspected before it was dropped off, and none of these alleged stains were ever mentioned during our multiple, previous interactions. As I calmly explained this, his tone continued to escalate. When I said I would be leaving reviews based on my experience, he essentially told me to go ahead and go, saying he had received negative reviews many times before and was still in business. The way I was spoken to as a customer was completely unacceptable. I was trying to understand why my dress had been returned damaged and why the communication we were promised never occurred. Mistakes can happen with delicate garments. What matters is how a business handles them. Here, the dress was returned in a different condition, the promised communication never happened, and when I tried to address it calmly, I was treated disrespectfully by the owner.
