This store is hands down one of the best dry cleaners i've been too in a very long time. The quilty of the cleaning was amazing and worth every penny. But the best part was the service, in fact there was a clerk in particular who was not only fluent in Arabic but was a very knowledgeable of modern day events and was very welcoming to me especially. And the managment was amazing they treated me well and were very understanding of my situation and worked with me, not against me. However, when I was there, another customer was having issues. However it was very clear they were unhappy with the price, not the service, and even looking through these reviews let me just say that these guys opion are simply invalid, and are just a result of people not willing to open there wallet and pay for a premium service. So please don't let these other reviews scare you off the reality is these guys are the best and will always have my business. read more

Tide is still our favorite dry cleaner! They are fast and very easy to work with. We have had some issues in the past, but they have always made it right which kept us coming back. It seems that they have fixed some of the issues they were having before, we haven't had any issues recently. We love the way the clothes come out smelling too. Picked up my comforter and was impressed. Although they dry cleaned it instead of washed (staff said they would clean how they thought was best) it turned out beautifully. It did not smell like chemicals which I appreciate. I will be back. Have a few more comforters I'd like cleaned but wanted to try one first. I love that they are open early and my items are ready when promised. Add to that the fact they are easy to get to and next to Starbucks, so I can grab my morning coffee? It's a win-win. Here is my saga with Tide cleaners in Naperville. The good news is also involves a real dry cleaner across the street call Platinum dry cleaners. I don't typically have the time to sit and write these, but for Tide....I'll tell you the story. Months ago I decided to try Tide despite the horrendous reviews on Yelp and other sites. I often travel during the week and needed some shirts and dry cleaning in one day. I wasn't sure Platinum could handle it. So I signed up and put my clothes in on a Friday to be picked up on Saturday. All good so far.....I believe the girl told me they were open until seven on Saturday although I won't hold them to that. So the next day rolls around and I show up at Tide at 6:02 PM and find out they are closing the doors......I told the young lady ( probably high school age) that I was traveling and would really appreciate it if they could just let me pick up my stuff....They had a full staff in the store as I could see them......the young lady turns back and asks another young woman ( again high school or college) if I can come in. This woman knows I am standing there and she says no. Just flat out no. The girl at the door was embarrassed and I was obviously not happy. This is not optimal customer service.....and fortunately I was not leaving on a Sunday as I sometimes do. I show up on Sunday and just want to pick up my stuff.....the young man brings my shirts out and two of them belong to someone else. I tell him and he takes another 20 minutes searching in back and finally comes up with my shirts. He doesn't apologize just says there was a mix up. Ok.....So they treated me like crap the day before and then they potentially lost my things and made me waste time while they got their act together....I decided I was done. They say that time heals all wounds so flash forward to today. I got home after boarding my 5:00 am flight from Houston and it was probably about 9:30 am when I told my wife I was going to try Tide again for a one day because I was unsure if Platinum could handle it.....deja vu all over again. So I go to Tide with my 6 shirts, two slacks and two sport coats and go to the front counter. Ironically I believe I was helped by the same guy who could not find my stuff months ago. I tell him I'd like to get these items by tomorrow since I am traveling to Japan on Monday. He looks at me and say ohhhh....not sure if we can do that. I said how about Monday? He said ahhhhh....not sure. I don't want to over promise and under deliver. The shift manager comes over and says a machine is broken or down for maintenance and they blah, blah, blah....that's about all I took in after they said no. I just wanted to get out of there. So I got a Starbucks and headed across the street to Platinum.....hoping they could get them done by Monday morning....I walk in....they greet me by name....and when I asked about tomorrow pick up they said yes before I could finish my sentence. They asked if I wanted them early in the afternoon and then they asked if I wanted them boxed since I had indicated I would be traveling. We had a great conversation and I felt like they really wanted to help. So just so people know....I have no affiliation with Platinum whatsoever other than I have been going there for a long time....dry cleaning....alterations etc. They have always been great to deal with and stand by their work. I don't feel good that I cheated a bit to try Tide , but it won't happen again. Now Tide....place looks great.....they hire young folks and put them in kakis and bright orange shirts and it's well lit and has a drive through.....that's where it all ends. Service bad....and I guess so is the training....because when you are in a customer facing business.....the motto should always be find a way to say yes. Tide will never get my business....not ever, ever again. I don't write a ton of reviews on Yelp, but feel compelled when things are really , really good or really, really bad. Another crappy situation at Tide! They had a "buy one, get one" coupon, so I thought this was the perfect time to take in a huge load of my husbands dress shirts. When I went to pick them up, they claim the coupon doesn't apply because many of these shirt were "laundered", not "dry-cleaned". Well shouldn't it be BOGO regardless of the service, since I am not in charge of how they decide to clean the shirts? More BS if you ask me. I have been a loyal customer ever since this place opened. I raved to friends and family about the quality of their dry cleaning service despite the slightly higher than average prices the quality and convenience was worth it. That is until I recently used there wash and fold service. I have a family of 5 and I do all the laundry and recently have been traveling a lot on business. Needless to say my laundry had gotten to much to handle and I really didn't have time to hit up the laundry mat. After speaking with Rudy while picking up some dry cleaning I found out they offered wash and fold and a very reasonable price. A few days later I dropped off 142 pounds of laundry and was told to pick it up in 4 days. I actually waited 7 days at which point I was told it wasn't ready and that my clothes had gotten mixed up with clothes designated for donation. After speaking with the manager Rudy he assured me my clothes hadn't been mixed with any other clothes and that my clothes would be delivered to me Monday morning. Well as you can guess Monday afternoon arrives and still no delivery. I proceed to go back up there for the 3rd or 4th time and they are finishing up my clothes. I wait about 30 mins or so and they start bringing out my clothes. I ask for my laundry baskets which they asked to keep to use to put the clothes back in and it takes another 10 mins for them to find those. I get home and sort my clothes and find 40 pounds of laundry thats not mine mixed in with my stuff with plenty of my stuff missing. Needless to say I am beyond pissed and will be spreading the word on how bad they are. I have heard nothing but excuses from them and no resolutions. read more

I agree with most disgruntled customers that this is probably a prime example of how not to run any business. very unhappy with them, first time they lost my Expensive shirt and did not bother to inform me unless i found it missing. when told no sign or regret or sorry, second time my whole bunch of office shirts delayed and had to visit thrice to pick up but not ready. when eventually after 10 days they dint apologize or even offered any discounts. They need to change management, or shut down. mistakes happen but not regularly and learn to offer apology or not charge when u dont deliver !!! read more

No matter how much starch I requested (even tried "cowboy") the men's dress shirts always came back as if they just came out of a dryer. They never had that "pressed" look. Don't fall for it! There's a ton of great bells & whistles - branding is great, drive-thru service, drop-off, email notifications. But they are not actually cleaning the clothes. Took in sweaters last year, a couple came back with holes that I swear weren't there before. Gave them another try this week. The clothes smell stale (not worn, just kind of "blah", they do not smell CLEAN). I took in a wool blanket that had a small food stain on it. Not only is the stain still there, but it's still "crusty", which means this basically wasn't clean at all. It seems like it would be cheaper, but it's not. It was $59.00 for two dresses, a sweater, and a blanket, which is about the same as I'd previously been paying. The small local business I was using before may require me to park the car and get out, and give me only a paper receipt...but at least for that same $59, I feel very confident the clothes will be CLEAN. Too bad, I love Tide laundry detergent! read more

After the airlines ruined our suits (left our luggage on the runway in the rain) and formalwear, we needed a cleaner who would press/clean our clothing on a Sunday with little notice. I have been using Tide DC in Naperville since they opened. Always a nice job and very quick... even same day service if dropped off early. Easy drop off and pick up and they charge my CC automatically. My husband came home the other day and said a button had come off the back pocket of his slacks. I pinned it to the pants and when I dropped off the dry cleaning, told them and they sewed it back on before dry cleaning... no charge. Everyone is very nice and friendly there, but yesterday, Danny and Kaylynn were especially helpful. I get email coupons all the time from them for 15-20% off. read more

They dry cleaning women's button down shirts so they charge a large % more. They do not launder women's button down shirt unless you insist, but how would you know to insist. I asked for heavy starch on my women's button down shirts. You can't have heavy starch on a dry cleaned shirt! Therefore, the shirts should be laundered! I did not get what I wanted. The price is too high. I went back to ask for an adjustment in price. No manager.Two very young kids are the only staff. They offered to write a note to the manager for next week. No thank you. All they do is apologize and give me a generic business card for a manager named Tom who is never there. I have had twice bad luck here. First I did not get my clothes ironed and dry cleaned on time. Second time they said their big belt is broken and told me to come back later when they call. After three days I get a call and go to pick up my laundered clothes. They give me one less, told me they have misplaced one of the pants and will call me once they find it. In two weeks they did not find it . Declared lost. But did not do anything to refund or adjust. Very bad service. Don't want people to experience that. Please find a better store. read more

I took my curtains in perfect condition and they were damaged after dry cleaning. I noticed the damage when I was hanging the curtains back and called the store. I was asked to take the curtain panel back to the store. Once I got there, the store manager took the curtain panel inside the store and came back and told me that based on another employee's recollection the curtain panel was damaged before dry cleaning. I told the store manager that the curtain panel was not damaged and unless they had pictures with time stamps to prove it they should not be making those statements. Then the store manager told me they would talk to the owner and call me back later in the day. The store manager did not call so I called them the next day. The store manager asked for the price of the curtains and I told them they were from Pottery Barn and gave her an estimate of $89 for each panel. The store manager told me that I could get a credit for that amount. I told them that I would have to ask my husband as this was an unexpected expense, especially with everything that is going on. The store manager told me they would call me back for a position later in the day. The store manager did not call me back so I called again. The store manager then told me that the panels are sold separately at Pottery Barn and I told them that they would look different as they all match now. There are no exact matches available for sale. The store manager stated that they could send the panel to be tested to see if it was "wear and tear." I told them, once again, that the curtains were in perfect condition when they were handed to Tide for dry cleaning and if the store manager thought it was not safe to dry clean the curtains they should have called me before to ask for my authorization to proceed with the dry cleaning knowing that it may damage my curtains. I would not have authorized the service. The store manager then proposed to give me $74 store credit for one panel as Pottery Bran had lower the prices. That is very fair as long as I am reimbursed the 4 panels so my curtains will match. I paid $20 for each panel to be dry cleaned - total of 4 panels. So the "store credit" would be even less than what I paid to go through all this trouble. I have contacted Tide Cleaners Corporation as the only reason I used that dry cleaner in the first place, was because of the name behind the franchise. I am still waiting for a resolution. read more

I can't figure out how to undo the one star for ZERO! So where do I go from here (sigh..) trying to calm myself down. Last month My husband took a couple of shirts of mine to the cleaners and when they returned each one had a "we've found a spot too tough to safely remove" I actually didn't see much but maybe a small two spots..so it was fine and I let it go, however I was very careful to look them over before sending them back this time..No major stains to point out. . What I got back was a shirt with HUGE large brownish markings/stains ALL over it. It was NOT on the shirt when I dropped it off there is no way anyone in their right mind would take this to the cleaners thinking it would come out anyways! And a spot "they couldn't safely remove" on another shirt wasn't there either!...but low and behold the two spots that they felt "too tough to safely remove" last time we're gone. So basically, if this cleaner ruins a shirt they just get to slap a tag on it to save their asses?!? I'm pissed! I'll post this review all over any other social media I can. Funny that when I posted about it on Facebook I received comments from other people that said they had horrible experiences as well and now to see these other horrible reviews? Wish I would have checked Yelp before going there. read more

I like the valet and after hour drop off and locker pickup service. They do a good job. Young staff works hard to serve customers well.

Let me start by saying that I have no complaints about the services offered, nor the quality of the cleaning. They have great hours, are open 24/7 and make it easy for you to drop off and pick up your clothes. When I pulled into the valet area someone was there to ask what services I needed, and gave me a personalized laundry bag with my name on it. There was no price list posted, so before I left my cleaning I had to ask. The fact that my first order came with a 50% discount made me sad that I didn't leave more than 2 pairs of slacks! I was given a printed price list, my laundry bag and a receipt. Since they close at 7pm you can request that your dry cleaning be placed in a locker in an area open 24/7. There is a monitor with you name and locker # posted...you code is the last 4 digits of your phone, clever and efficient. It is super clean and well maintained. My one and only complaint is that pricing is at first "hidden" and second it is very expensive. I would go back to them in a heartbeat if I needed something done ASAP and needed to pick it up on a Sunday morning. I cannot afford to make them my sole source for cleaning. I do hope they continue to offer these services, in the Naperville community the fact that they are pricey may not be an objection in this community. The prices on cleaning suits and coats is way too steep for me, sorry about that because I'd be a regular otherwise. read more

I had the worse experience ever at this dry cleaners. My garments were not ready when promised and in addition to that they ruined a brand new cashmere sweater. I went in to see the manager who was not there. I left a message for him to call me please which he did not. I went back to the location to speak to a manager who did not apologize or accept any responsibility whatsoever. They told me to return the sweater to Nordstrom. The quality or work and customer service was horrendous. I urge you to think twice before using this service. There are far better options in our neighborhood. read more

i gave these folks three tries, had to return my shorts three times, they pressed them opposite side of the factory crease on all 5 pair of shorts, in fact several had triple lines down the middle, my fabric was then beat up by pressing and trying to correct matter and they are ruined now.... i golf and had pencil on my shorts didnt even get it off. also my collars on my shirts were pressed unevenly on 20 shirts, dont even try this place, even if youre current cleaner is ok, stay with em.. this place is awful.. even after the redo they tried to charge me upon pick up.. spoke with indian guy that was owner and he just wanted to talk over me.. warning do not associate tide's reputation with this place.. they are franchised and service is very bad... read more
