This location failed to taking responsibility for brand new shirts I had purchased an took there right from the store. After picking up an taking on vacation I noticed while traveling my labels on all my button up shirts were peeling off. I contacted the store an store owners made it so difficult to get ahold of then try to tell me I should take shirts back because they are all defective! I tried contacting corporate but this is a franchise so they would not intervene but offered to have my shirts to be sent off to a lab. Don't waste your time this is a store that is looking for volume not customer service.. You'd better keep an accurate count of your clothing because they will not. I had to go back and ask them to locate a pair of pants they obviously didn't realize was there. It would seem the little tags they melt into the fabric of your clothing in the places that prevent you from rolling your cuff, don't actually make up for the human initiative needed to maintain accurate counts of clothing. It is very 'cookie cutter' or corporate with little if any relationship with their customer. Which also translates that they don't have much regard for care of your clothing. They ruined a shirt and seemingly had an 'oh well' attitude. The only thing positive is the curbside. They spent most of their time on convenience not quality. A+ for convenience. read more

Terrible service. Left my comforter here with a promised pickup of Saturday. Monday today and was told that it is not ready for pickup. Joby stated he needed to fold it and it will be ready in 6 hours. I told him I can fold it myself when he disclosed that it is actually lost. Stated once found he will call me and will still charge me the coupon price. I asked to speak with Raj Patel, the owner, and was told that just can't happen. Ridiculous!!! read more

Wish there was a zero stars option. STAY AWAY! Especially with alterations! After using them for dry cleaning weekly for the last year, dropped off a sport coat with a missing button. Handed them the button, and they said it would be ready in 2 days. Came back in 2 days, they couldn't find the coat. Came back the next day; they found the coat, but said the delay was due to the fact that they didn't have matching buttons. "ButtonS", I asked? It was only missing one button, and I brought the button in with the coat! They showed me the coat, and sure enough, someone had taken another button off the sleeve! I was furious. Brand new jacket, and they lost both buttons. I told them to take pictures of the buttons that were still on the coat, and to contact the manufacturer (bonobos). I told them the only was they could save my business was to get replacement buttons, and to contact me when found. Never received a call, and it's been 10 days. I also e mailed the franchises owner, and he didn't have the courtesy to reply. I have since found a new dry cleaner. POOR MANAGEMENT, poor service! read more

Where to even begin! Usually I am a very easy going person. This place has literally made me never want to get anything dry cleaned ever again! My brand new leggings were burned my jackets smelled musty like dirty water and someone's body odor! I literally had to drive them back right after I picked them up to this location with my windows down because my clothes smelt so bad! So I returned the burned pants and the smelly jackets to have them re cleaned and have my pants looked at by a manager. Turns out this "manager" who's name is Ashley Lenk/Patel doesn't manage shit! She never called me to apologize for my ruined pants or the shit smelling jackets they gave me back. On top of that I go to get my stuff the next day and of course it's not even done. And my burned pants are no where to be found. PATHETIC!!! I dropped off two rugs and was told they would be ready in 3 days. I stopped to pick them up and was told that it would be another week. When I stopped again, the young man asked if anyone had called me (They had not.). I was asked to stop back another day. When I did, I was told that the rugs were damaged. Jaison asked me how much I paid for the rugs. I said it was at least $150. He told me that I could buy new ones and they would reimburse me. I did that and dropped off the receipt. It's been over a month and three stops later and no reimbursement. Until I receive the $145.46 that I was promised, I will be sure and tell everyone I know to avoid this dry cleaners. Stay as far away from this Tide Dry Cleaning location as you can! Beware. Very incompetent group of employees and the franchise owner, Raj Patel, could care less about customer satisfaction. I expected more from another fellow U of I graduate. I dropped off 5 shirts and upon pickup, they stated that only 4 were ready. I returned to Tide several times to try to pick up the missing 5th shirt, but I was lied to about why it was not ready for pickup for an entire MONTH by the employees. After trying numerous times to track down the manager, Jason, he finally confessed to me that the shirt was accidentally given to another gentleman who is refusing to return my shirt because they had lost that gentleman's shirt. I have left messages for the owner, Raj, to call me regarding the situation, but still have yet to hear from him. Jason did supposedly "attempt" to try to get my shirt back, however, was not successful in doing so. His solution after speaking with the owner was to offer me store credit. No thank you! I was informed that the owner would be in contact after I demand reimbursement rather than store credit. I'm still waiting on that call... read more

GO back to your old cleaners Tide Cleaners in Naperville has ruined 2 shirts one brand new. They said sorry couldn't get this spot out and I JUST bought the shirt! The first shirt they still have for weeks and the one I just picked up is brand new never been warn and had a tag on it sorry can't get the spot out! I wanted to love this dry cleaning service. The quality of dry cleaning is great, but the customer service is poor. The wait times during pick-up are long (I waited over 20 minutes once) and clothes are never ready for "same day" service. On three occasions my clothes weren't ready for pick-up even if it was after 5:00 PM and the clothes were dropped off before 9:00 AM. When I complained to the manager about the reoccurring problem all I got was "I'm sorry" and I was told that the "same day" service works 90% of the time. Tide Dry Cleaning cost 2X (sometimes 3X) more than other local services and I'd be willing to pay that, but I expect great customer service AND quality. read more

Here they are, carrying sign "Free Dry Cleaning Today" on 8/24/2013... So I get my clothes and come back and they now carrying sign 50% off today. I go in there and ask a person about the "Free Dry Cleaning Today" earlier. The person got a manager in charge and I ask about the "Free Dry Cleaning Today" sign. He said that two items are free dry cleaning and he'll take off two of the most expensive cleaning items off. I go pick up my clothes and they took off the two least cost items off and it wasn't either 50% of the bill. They are very deceitful in getting the people in for their business with false advertisements. I am NOT coming back again because they lost my trust of the business they are running. read more

Had an oriental rug cleaned. Went in to pick it up and they couldn't find it. They searched for like 10 minutes. I then looked around and found it but they had mislabeled it with someone else's name. They then had to double-check and call their manager, another 10 minutes. Not sure how they can mislabel something they had a full record of. Will reconsider going back. read more

Do not use this dry cleaners! I have gone here three times. First two times my clothes were not ready as promised. The third time they returned the pants to me but informed me that the buttons on my sweater had been broken. Said they would replace buttons and call me. That was 2 months ago. We took our comforter here to be cleaned and requested fragrance free detergent as I am incredibly allergic to fragranced detergents. When we went to pick up the comforter they told us they realized they washed it in scented detergent and would need to keep it to be rewashed and said they would give us $5 off. There was no manager there so we got the managers number and called and he said he would make sure it was rewashed and would deliver it to us and we would not be charged. 4 days later we still had not heard from them and went by to see if our comforter was there. We ended up speaking to another manager who again told us that it had been rewashed multiple times and we would not be charged. A few days later we were looking at our online bank statement and realized we were charged full price for the cleaning. That same night I opened the comforter and put it back on the bed to discover the entire bottom of the comforter was ripped and destroyed. I called the manager again and he sent someone to our home to pick it up. They told us we would replace it and we could order a new one and when it arrived they would refund us the money for the new comforter. We brought the receipt in and they said a check would come in the mail. We got the check and it was for the price of the comforter however the check didn't cover the tax. So in the end I ended up paying for my comforter to be ruined and paid tax on a new one because they destroyed it. We have a credit there for cost of dry cleaning our comforter and I will NEVER return to use it! I should also mention that one time while in there another guest was complaining that one of her items was destroyed as well. Service is a disaster! I took in brand new drapes to be steamed and was given a ticket stating they'd be ready in 3 days. Went to pick up and was told it would be the next day after 5. Called that day and was told they'd be ready the subsequent day. Asked to speak to a manager and they said the manager is off today but would be in the next day, and took down my name and number to call me. No return call. I call again the next day and get the exact same story- they'll be ready tomorrow but I can have the "customer service person" call you. I ask when that person will be in next and they said the following day from opening to 10am, but they'd have her call me. No return call. I call the store during the hours I was told she is there and was told she's not in. I AM STILL DEALING WITH THIS RUN AROUND A WEEK LATER, DO NOT HAVE MY ITEMS BACK, AND CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER. I had a new pair of dress pants damaged at this location. I pointed this out to them and they sent it out to another location to try and repair them. I picked them up a few days later, but the repair was poorly done and definitely didn't fix the issue with the new pants. I was also shocked that they tried to charge me $20 for the repair. I disputed this charge and asked to speak with a manager. It's been 2 weeks, the additional charge has not been reversed, and I still can't get a manager to call me back. I have been going to this location for 18 months and probably spend about $200 per month. This has been my first issue, but I think this situation tells you a lot about how they run their business and treat customers. The 2 rating on Yelp tells you how others have been treated. The location is convenient , but there are a lot of other cleaners who will take better care of your clothes and address issues more professionally. read more
