Came last Saturday for the first time ever to Tierra Mia. I had an horchata cream, my son had a blue raspberry cream. Both delicious but the blue raspberry cream was amazing (he let me have a sip). We sat on the tables available; the staff was great!! A few days later I decided to comeback for that delicious blue drink that I couldn't remember the name of after picking up my kids from school. I didn't have a lot of time so I decided to do the drive thru this time. I pulled up to a girl with a resting bitch face (sorry there is no other way to describe her) I looked at the menu displayed outside but the blue drink I was looking for wasn't listed. When I asked her about a blue drink she very rudely said whatever you see there, that's all we have. So I said, no, I was here on Saturday and there is a blue drink and I ordered it in the front. She just stared at me as if I was getting on her last nerve. She expected me to drive away but instead I looked it up on Yelp found the delicious blue raspberry drink and when I gave her the name she looked it up and charged me for without any more words coming out of her mouth but that very rude stare. I pulled up for my drink and the staff at the front were very kind and friendly. I wish I could say I love this place but that girl has got to go. I understand it was very hot this past week and she was standing outside, but a job is a job. The "large" size is actually quite small--the cup itself is tiny. On top of that, they don't even fill it properly; essentially, you pay for a large but get a small. I ordered three coffees and two *tres leches* muffins, but I only received one muffin. I called, but they never answered. Terrible service. read more

Tierra Mía has officially opened a location in Pasadena. I have been waiting for this to happen! Horrible customer service. They prioritize the drive thru. My sister and I waited almost 20 mins for her order. After it was my turn to order, they asked me if I was helped, and I said "no not yet". They said, "ok" and closed the window on me. I waited 10 more minutes and never got to place my order so I ended up leaving. On top of that the previous person before asked if she can have her drink re made because she paid for an extra shot and was given the wrong drink. They immediately rolled their eyes. Never coming here again. I'll stick to the highland park location. Btw Starbucks employees would never have these shitty attitudes or ask why your drink needs to be re made. read more

I wanted to love this new location, but after multiple attempts, the service is consistently disappointing. It's ironic because they have a sign for staff inside reminding staff to "smile" and "thank customers," yet my experience, particularly on Friday and Sunday night shifts, has been the exact opposite. There is a recurring pattern of hostile behavior from the drive-thru staff: zero eye contact, a curt/aggressive tone, and the window being slammed shut before I can even pull away. Beyond the unwelcoming attitude, there has been other times where my orders are frequently incorrect, forcing me to ask for corrections which only increases the tension. It has reached a point where my "complicated" drink order (which is handled perfectly at the surrounding Tierra Mia locations) causes me major anxiety here because the drive thru attendant makes me feel like a burden. Looking at other reviews, it's clear I'm not alone in this. While the surrounding Tierra Mia locations are fantastic (shout-out to Montebello, El Monte, and West Covina), this branch has a serious culture problem. I had one great experience with a different staff member months ago, but until management addresses the professionalism of the night shift, I'll be taking my business back to my old locations where customers are treated with basic respect. read more

The staff is very friendly and they move quickly. I'm a creature of habit so I haven't branched out much on the menu but I do love their horchata lattes and it's my go-to drink with them. Love that it's a drive-thru so I can get my coffee before work and head out fast. I just wish their iced drinks weren't filled with so much ice. A few sips and I was done with my drink haha. The line was really wrong so I wanted to give it a try. I am always looking for new coffee spots. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. I am always looking very simple hot brewed coffee type of girl. The coffee was warm not hot and just wasn't worth the wait. I asked questions about things that were printed on the menu and they could not provide information. Maybe if I would have gotten a latte or flavored cold brew it would have been better. Service needs improvement. There is a staff member who is frequently at the window and has been unpleasant on multiple occasions. She often appears more focused on chatting with coworkers, and while I don't expect conversation with customers, I have repeatedly felt that my patronage was an inconvenience. read more

I'm obsessed with this place! I LOVE the horchata latte. I've gone 3 times since they've opened and if they were open before work I would go everyday. I have also tried their cherry lemonade and the pomegranate lemonade, both were refreshing and tasty. I've gone through the drive thru twice and walk up once and both experiences were great, personable staff and quick service. Can't wait to go back tomorrow after work. read more

Just picked up an iced latte with NO ICE and a "warmed" guava pastry that has literally burned my lips and chin after sitting for several minutes.l (I now sit holding ice hoping to avoid a blister and scarring. The girls inside were MUCH more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers . The plump girl at the window was pretty rude I guess this one is not as good as the other locations. Horrible service! Asked for two large coffees and made sure 3 different times I had ordered large coffees, I go to the window and sure enough one large one small ‍ the employee said she wanted to charge me more for a large I said that's not fair she called her manager with attitude and told me she would have to charge me more I said it wasn't my mistake so she pours it in a large cup and says bye. This place is crazy the girl who took my order was really soo excited to ask for a tip before I even get my order but she can't get my order right. Shame on these people read more

Really good pastries and drinks. I'm glad a Tierra Mia has finally opened in Pasadena. Would have given a 5 star but because they messed up my order twice within a month I'm giving a rating of 3. Just a heads up to always check your order before leaving, it's been two mistakes within a month. Usually I'm not the one to make any reviews and I know mistakes can happen but not only has it happened to me but to one of my family members. Super disappointing. read more

The coffee here is amazing -- seriously some of the best I've had. I love that you can order outside and enjoy your drink on the small patio. They also have a drive-thru, which makes it super convenient. Just a heads up, there's no parking, so plan accordingly. Definitely worth the stop! read more
