The café is pretty clean with decent seating, good lighting, and WiFi, but the overall vibe is pretty basic--nothing especially cozy or fun. Service was also just meh. For a first timer I look for a little more interaction and recommendations but conversation was limited, no real greeting 3/5 for the overall café experience. I'd come back for the strawberry matcha, though, if I was in the area!

I noticed the bag of beans on the counter was roasted on 6/30 and marked down on clearance. Anyway, it's probably a perfectly fine place if you're not obsessed with excellent black coffee or high-quality espresso drinks. I just wish I'd known going in that the coffee wasn't very good, so I'm writing this review for the other people out there who are equally insufferable about their coffee.

Where the surprise comes in is that there seems to be a custard layer inside, along with melted chocolate around the outer parts of the croissant. It's a unique experience and recommend trying while it's hot.
