    Statement from the business
    Cesar C.

I left feeling in-between -- what is this ?! I'll explain: first, big credit goes to the baristas -- super friendly even under pressure of having many customers; also, their drink options are varied (and choice of bean --- Picaresca of ELA is the bomb ! ) So why the initial uncertainty? I ordered the Spanish latte and tasted a smooth dollop of froth similar to when you want a good latte. Where was the flavor? Confused, I pondered my experience and expectations. As my drink sat for the duration of my commute, I took another sip, and then, magic! Where were you!? Finally, the spices hit the spot and it was all good. I happily look forward to my next visit. Ps. I'm curious as to the composition of the Chocolatito -- a mocha Mexicano -- that's made w/ Ghirardelli over a Mexican chocolate? Hmm...

My friend suggested we try this coffee shop because she wanted to try the cereal coffee. The coffee was good, but not something I would drive out of my way for. The coffee shop is located inside a restaurant. The parking lot is extremely tight and small. The coffee baristas are very quick!

Super cute coffee spot found in Guisados. Came here on a Sunday morning around nine thirtyish and people were up for coffee lol Got the Cereal Killer latte which is a Cinnamon Brown Sugar Latter with Cereal garnish. Cereal options are Captain Crunch or Cocoa Puffs. I ended up getting it with the Captain Crunch. How fun! It's like having a bowl of cereal in a drink. Nice twist getting that initial crunch at first drink. I also ended up purchasing their cute tote back. $20 for the bag OR $22 for the bag and a free drink. I was already planning getting a bag and a drink, so I thought this was awesome! Shared parking with Guisados. Good amount of parking. And ample of seating indoor and outdoor. The staff are super friendly!

Second time coming to the caffeinated cart that shares a space with Guisados Pasadena. We've tried the Mocha Mexicano, Spanish Latte, Cereal Killer and seasonal drink earl grey mocha. The workers are always so nice and helpful and we've enjoyed every drink we've ordered so far. The Earl grey mocha is very Earl grey forward which we enjoy. I also appreciate that they don't charge extra for alternative milk options! I think one improvement would be to have boba straws for the cereal killer because you can't really get the cereal bits through the regular straws. However, you could always grab a spoon and eat the cereal bits that way. There's lots of seating inside and parking spaces are a bit tight outside.

Best coffee place ! My go to is the serial killer coffee amazing! Captain crunch on top First timers ! You would love this ! Great customer service! Amazing staff there Very friendly and polite . Clean environment, parking spaces available Well recommended for friends and family

Amazing coffee actually! Well I may be biased because I like coco puffs lol. But honestly, the restaurant which they share with Guisados has a lot of potential. They need to market it like coffee & burritos + pastry. Their outdoor area is actually really nice and they had nice tunes. The staff were also so friendly! Coming in I only expected to get coffee; but ended up getting burritos too, which was actually good (maybe cook it a bit more so it's less soggy). Otherwise I will be back!

Come support this cute coffer pop up inside Guisados! Coffee was smooth and not acidic- love their creativity spin on some of their signature lattes (killer cereal!). Service was great - they accommodate me even though I showed up 1 minute before closing (ai did not know). They were so friendly. Definitely going back!

I got the cereal killer and I recommend it to everyone. I've raved about their coffee to all my friends and coworkers. This is the one coffee I actually will chug because it's that good. Not too sweet and the ratio of coffee and milk is perfect. Parking is tight especially when the place is busy.

small little coffee shop inside guisados in south pas! drove by after work to try it out since it popped up on my tiktok! i believe the owner was the one who took my order, and he was so nice! was recommending me drinks based on what i liked and very patient. i was planning on getting a matcha and he recommended the honey cinnamon matcha! flavor of cinnamon was stronger but still was able to taste the matcha! would def come back to try their coffees! plenty of parking, which is a huge plus

this place is pretty cool. my co workers tend to rave about this place so i decided to drive on by & try them out. At first it's a bit confusing because you have caffeinated cart and guisados inside the same place. parking is in the rear back which is nice. i got myself the La Preciosa which is a brown sugar matcha. i also requested to add captain crunch cereal as toppings. the drink was absolutely delicious. perfect balance and wasn't too sweet. my co worker go to drink is the cereal killer latte w. oat milk. the captain crunch cereal is such a fun topping to add! would love to try their other matcha drinks next time!

I stumbled upon this place due to tik tok and now, I keep finding myself coming back here, and for good reason. My sister and I have visited several times, and every single visit has been amazing. The staff is genuinely some of the friendliest you'll meet--they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The lattes are absolutely incredible. My go-to is the La Prietita, while my sister can't get enough of the Cereal Killer. They're crafted perfectly every time. One morning we got lucky and they had fresh conchitas straight out of the oven. I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the best conchitas I've ever had--soft, warm, perfectly sweet, and impossible to eat just one. If you see them available, don't hesitate! The café itself has such a great atmosphere--it's the perfect spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or enjoy your morning coffee. There's also a good-sized parking lot, which makes stopping by easy. It can get a little busier around lunchtime, but if you go in the morning, parking is usually no problem. If you're looking for delicious coffee, amazing pastries, and genuinely kind service, this place is absolutely worth the visit. You'll probably find yourself planning your next trip before you even leave.

I had their Meximatcha (cafe de olla but with matcha) with oat and topped with a cream foam, delicious! The cream top was smooth and added a velvety mouthfeel that complemented the matcha and cinnamon well. It wasn't overly sweet. The service was welcoming, and I had my drink in no time! I paid in cash, and it was $6. The branding is dope and inviting! Overall, excellent first impression, no notes! I enjoyed my drink and look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Soooo yummy. I loved the cereal killer latte I got it with Cap'n Crunch on top (you could choose between that or coco puffs) and oat milk. Perfect sweetness. My friends matcha was also pretty good it was a honey cinnamon flavor. This little shop is inside a guisados! You can get a coffee and possibly breakfast so conveniently. Staff were helpful and patient. Definitely worth coming back!

The smell of the food they were cooking smelled so delicious. It was hard to not want to try the food. Sean had explained the menu to me since it was my first time going there. Joey (owner cooking on the grill) recommended sweet heat croissantwich they have that's not on the menu. A customer in line had chimed in how they had done a collab with Gooey Center cinnamon rolls and they put a maple sausage in the middle. I had ordered a few sandwiches but was only able to try the sweet heat croissantwich. This was amazing it was a crunchy yummy goodness that I can't explain. It wasn't spicy and you can taste a slight sweetness. It was the perfect bite each time. I had also ordered a hashbrown on the side. It was so crispy and it didn't need ketchup or anything else. I can't wait to come back soon to try the breakfast burger which they're known for and the S.P.E.C sandwich. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich sounded pretty popular as well. I believe the smash burgers is what started it all but you definitely gotta try it for yourself.

The chicken stays crispy for a long time and reheats nicely as leftovers. Everything we've ordered is really good and crave-worthy. We got the lucky catsu, curry catsu, crispy shrimp, spam masubi, catsu masubi, orange chicken, crispy chicken. Top two favorites are lucky and curry catsu. Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period. And the rice is a little on the dryer side and it sticks to the container- so when you scrape up the last bits of rice, you could be eating the paper from the container. I like that they use compostable containers though!! But yeah the rice is on the harder side especially as leftovers. But whatever, their main items are bomb and makes me not care about anything else. Service is quick! Note: it is not a sit down restaurant. You order (ahead) and park on the street and call them to let them know you're outside. They'll bring the food out. Reception isn't great outside fyi. I've been here 3 times and never last long enough to get a photo before digging in. There are two other vegan restaurants right next to it, same concept - order and pick up. Great for different options if one is craving Mexican from Cena or hot dogs from All franks.

My friend told me that a new drink spot had opened up in the Alhambra area and I was intrigued. After doing some research, I found that by day, they primarily serve pho and Vietnamese food (Pho Ever) and during the evening on select nights, they serve specialized drinks and Vietnamese finger foods (N' Beyond). Put that together and you get Pho Ever N' Beyond! So cute. Anyway, this location is a bit obscure. It's located right off the 10 Freeway by Garfield and Hellman next to Circle K. There's a small parking lot as well as street parking. Hours are still changing, so definitely check Yelp or call the restaurant to see if they're open. As of now, they're open Friday - Sunday from 7:30 - 11:30 PM. The first time I came, my friend and I didn't really know what to expect. The pho restaurant was closing and the workers seemed to be in the process of cleaning up the restaurant. Luckily they have a very cute outdoor patio (perfect for a date!) with tons of flowers and greenery. We ordered at the cashier and our drinks and food were brought out to us. I asked for recommendations and went with the Mango Macchiato ($7). Kind of regretted the decision, only because I'm not a big smoothie fan and this drink was pretty much like a blended smoothie/shake. There was sea salt cream and mango jelly - really tasted premium with loads of mango flavor. I personally just thought it was a little sweet. My parents loved it though and devoured the drink once I brought it home. My friend ordered the Black Goji Berry Tea with Lychee ($7) - one of the most pretty drinks! I didn't try it, but she really enjoyed it. Said she could taste the lychee and the goji berry. We also ordered the banh mi brisket ($6) and chicken egg roll ($6). I was surprised that the banh mi was an actual whole sandwich. Packed with ingredients and I really enjoyed the flavor of the brisket. As for the egg roll, crispy and tasty - we ate everything. So I had to return to get a drink that I would enjoy. I ended up trying the Citrus Sunrise ($7) - this came with orange juice, jasmine osmanthus tea, honey citron jam, and some rosemary. I think there was also some jelly bits as well. Really refreshing and light, perfect for a hot day. P.L.O ($7) - peach, lemongrass, orange, lemonade, and jelly. My sister requested for the drink to be sweeter because she was worried that the lemongrass would overpower the taste, but surprisingly the lemongrass was really subtle. The drink was actually a bit on the fragrant/light side, almost as if it was missing a little acid or citrus to blend it all together. I liked the addition of the chia seeds, but I definitely preferred the Citrus Sunrise. And we also were able to try the Ube Frostie ($7). Seriously, the tea places that make ube blended drinks can't compare because the ube here tasted so fresh and decadent, along with the blended components of the drink. Felt almost like an elevated ube milkshake but the word milkshake doesn't do this drink justice at all. Not too sweet - my parents thought this was the best drink out of the three. They currently have a grand opening promotion if you're able to snag a card for BOGO 50% off; they also have a Yelp promotion of 20% off if you order a minimum of $15. The workers who helped me were all super nice and helpful. I definitely am going to return to try as many drinks as I can. Feel reluctant to share this spot, but at the same time, I really hope they do well. They really put a ton of effort into not just the taste, but also the presentation. Will be back!
