I felt the need to leave them a review for two reasons: - First, because they are great people and offer excellent service. Like the kind one would expect from a dry cleaner. I have been going for years and they know my needs. Whether for business casual for my daily office visits, or business on the road where I wear suits, they always have my stuff the way I want it. When I want it. There was an incident where they had difficulty with a new Tommy Bahama shirt I received as a gift. Instead of telling me about the difficulty, they went out and bought me a brand new shirt. Who does that these days? That is next level service like Nordstrom. When I told them at Tommy Bahama they were very impressed and told me that if they could get the old shirt back they would do an even exchange. Unfortunately, when I asked my dry cleaner for the shirt they had already thrown it away. So they ate the expense. That is integrity. - Second, I was in the business picking up my clothes when I witnessed an ugly scene. A woman who appeared to be active duty military come in in and bring a garment back that had been in her closet for over 16 months. She was not happy and claimed that when she brought it in the first item and she had only worn it once but when she cam back there was a large white streak going across it. When the owner pointed out that she should have brought it back right away as they do no typically give a garment back in that condition. This woman lost her cool and said that it was basically the cleaners fault. So the cleaner graciously responded that they would give it another cleaning at their expense but if she has an issues in the future to please bring it to their attention within 30 days. The woman were was very cold and said that she would expect that at the minimum. The next I was there I asked about the woman and the cleaner said that her husband determined that the white streak was caused my moths in her closet. When she told the woman about the infestation, she became irate and said that she would never bring her clothes back there and she would tell all her neighbors not to go there either. I thought that was not only unfair, but just mean especially since there have been other reviews where people have given them less then good reviews because of the cost. I think they are fairly priced and do great work. They have great integrity too. I would have my mom take her dry cleaning there. read more

I've brought a few things here that were new and had no issues. Well I just brought in a vintage leather jacket that was musty smelling, I asked if they could clean it they said yes-it smells worse now?! I also brought it a white shirt that was polyester, it was white and now it's like a gross dusty cream color. I am so upset but after reading these reviews it seems like they don't care and won't do anything, for some reason I just had a feeling that was the case. I can't believe they can get away with stuff like that and I should have read reviews before taking my stuff there. Never again! It's not worth the risk. Two bad experiences. I brought in brand new white Halston pants. At pick up: they had water stains on them (zero marks on them prior) and they were extremely stiff. They redid them: the stains were gone but they were shrunken. Then I brought this dress in: Water stains on both sides after. When I brought it back to redo the woman at the front lost her mind about the fact that it was over 30 days. She said that I could have done the damage to the dress. I said it's a summer dress (it's winter) and I obviously haven't worn it (still on the cleaners hanger and plastic) and Ive had issues before. She said it's water stained and they would have dry cleaned it. I said did you?? kept arguing with me that it was over 30 days so she shouldn't have to redo it. Finally she said she'd "try". At pickup: same water marks and a new white burn on the side. He asked about it and they said "it happens" and they couldn't get the stains out. No refund, nothing. read more

I have been using them for repair work for years. I left a vintage lambs wool coat that had 3 small holes. They must have just thrown it on the ground because when I went in to pick it up the back was shredded and the holes not even fixed. He then told me that I left it with them like that and he had it on video. Not even an apology or a phone call about what had happened. I don't deal with liars and I will never use them again. Back in 2016 (yeah, a while ago) I dropped off a bunch of clothes - suits, shirts, pants, the whole deal. Life got in the way - a trip here, a move there - and I had given up my clothes for lost. Seriously, those clothes were the furthest thing from my mind. Fast forward to THIS YEAR, 2024. Eight years later! My wife took my daughter's prom dress to be altered. When she went to picked it up the guy literally picked it up off the floor--not in a bag, not on a hanger...off the floor...dress on the floor!! He charged her $25 for NOT doing what was asked to do. She was stunned once when she picked it up & then again when she got it home & realized they didn't do what was asked. I had to go back with her to have them give her back the $25 for botching it. They guy resisted at first, but I "convinced" him they screwed up. We got our money back, but now we had a defective product because of what they did. We took it over to Alex Cleaners (over by Chili Peppers). While they didn't have their seamstress on site, they steered us to their sister store in Kearney Mesa (Executive Cleaners on Clairemont Mesa). The woman said she was "appalled" by their work. MILITARY STAY AWAY!!! One star because I wasn't able to give none. Brought my dress white blouse here to have my rating patch updated as well as dry cleaned. I made the mistake of holding any trust in this cleaner. I have a BJOY board tomorrow. I was given notice last week and dropped this blouse off LAST WEEK. I picked it up yesterday thinking I was going to just clean it up and it has creases and the rating patch is crooked. I gave the woman a E6 patch for her to cut to create an E4 patch. She folded and tucked the patch so it buldges and there are tears in the fabric from the previous patch. Thankfully I was able to iron out the wrinkles. I hope whichever 1st class that inspects me at my board just has me about face and does not get close to me or I will be failing this board just from uniform appearance. My wool coat had a massive stain which I was super upset about. This was my first time using a cleaner, so I was very nervous. I was greeted by a friendly worker who followed safety precautions. AVOID at all costs of you're taking a military uniform to get patches. My husband took in 3 uniforms to get patches on and one wool coat to get dry cleaned. First of all they RUINED the wool coat. It looks like they put tape on it and ripped it off and now all the wool is frayed. Not to mention the coat is dirtier than when we brought it to them. Then they sewed the patch on and its not straight at all. Then on the uniform, none of the strings used were even the same color. One uniform had navy blue string. The other they used green. Super inconsistent. They missed the stitches so its not even sewn on all the way and they stitched into one of the other patched that was already on there. They didn't cut the patches to size. They just folded them over so the patch sizes are all different. And they were sewn on crooked. All over horrible job to be spending as much money as we did. Very very disappointing. read more

But it's so much smaller and lighter than it was I can barely notice it's there anymore!! Now they're altering it so the length fits me better. I took my husband's military uniforms to be dry cleaned at this place. They did a great job on his whites. The creases were great. They were also able to do this overnight. Just had two patches sewn on my husbands uniform. Clearly the stickers were crooked and when I asked about it they said it is fine, didn't even offer to fix it. At 6$ per patch the least they could do was make sure they were straight and trim all of the loose strings! This will be the last time I use this company for sewing purposes. read more

I won't be taking my clothes here anymore. Ive had several pieces cleaned at this location and their prices are definitely not the lowest. Last week I dropped off a dress to be cleaned that was that annoying polyester fabric that gets water marks and if you try to wash it the spot just gets bigger. So I showed the gentleman the spots and he said it would $12 and on my way I went. I picked it up two days later right before closing and rushed out, When I got home I noticed the dress hadn't been cleaned. None of the spots were gone. I thought this was strange, so I called them and the same gentleman told me to bring it back and he would reclean it. So I did the next day. When I went to pick up my dress, the lady tried to charge me another $12 for it. I told her I had already paid and the gentleman told me to bring it back. Then she pointed her finger at me and told me when she gave me this dress it was clean! Basically telling me that I somehow got it dirty in one evening. And she wasn't even the person who gave me my dress! (so I'm not sure how she would know if it was clean) I prefer to take my clothes to cleaners who actually do the job and don't blame me because they didn't. read more

The costumer service is terrible. The woman working the store told me and my sister that "it's your fault my costumer left" because we "took to long" getting our dresses on. She had us standing in the ONE changing room while she pinned our dresses. The other costumer had gone out to her car to get some fabric and she returned to the store 1 minute later. She was charging us $50 to take 5 inches off the bottom of my dress and told my sister it was going to be another $40 for her to take out the dress a couple inches. I've never been able to find a good dry cleaners in town. The last one I went to messed up some of my coats. It came back with a weird smell that have lasted for months. I decided to bring my clothes in to Tierrasanta Cleaners after a recommendation from a co-worker. My clothes came back great. They even dry cleaned my coat twice to try and get out the smell from the last dry cleaners. The customer service is great. They go above and beyond when it comes to my -- eh hem -- pit area in my suits, and they know me now -- know that my clothing needs a little more work than the average, that is.
