Extremely expensive and took a week to get 3 blankets washed. We were unaware about how expensive washing blankets would be here. They were just your average blankets that cost $20. Cost us $75 just for them to wash it. I could've tossed the blankets and bought brand new ones at that price. Not only was it expensive it took forever to get back. Better to go to a coin laundry and wash it yourself for cheaper and it would only take a few hours. read more

I'm writing this review in hopes that they handle future customer concerns with more follow-through and professionalism. Everyone makes mistakes, but communication and accountability matter. I went to pick up my mattress cover, but they mistakenly gave me a duvet cover instead. Mistakes happen - all good. They told me they'd look for it and call me back. Nothing. I went back the following week. And the other employee didn't know a thing about it - couldn't find it. Told me she'd talk to the owner, Mark, and get back to me. Nothing. We tried this place out bc my workout studio is across the street, and I noticed that this place was ALWAYS busy. I took it as a good sign! The prices are super competitive and the turnaround was fast. I appreciate that they had all their prices listed, so we knew exactly how much it was going to be. We had such a good experience that we even took my husband's wedding suit here! That's a lot of trust! His suit looked absolutely perfect, and we will be back for sure! read more

This is the WORST cleaner of all time. Avoid at all costs. Clothing, including nicest suits, came back wrinkled and they returned my nicest suit with stains that were never there when I brought it in. Will have to take the suit elsewhere to see if the stains from them can be gotten out. Absolutely horrible place. Also ridiculously overpriced. read more

Took my Versace shirt that i had just bought and only wore twice after wearing it the second time took it in for dry cleaners and they burned a hole through my brand new shirt. I asked to speak to management but they would give me the run around and said they will call me back and never did. On top of that i was still charged and company did not take any owner ship of the damage. My shirt is now damage and this cleaner will not take responsibility for this! First of all, this is the cutest and coolest cleaners I've ever seen in my life. I took 3 items there to be dry cleaned. The skirt I took in had a stain on it for 5 years, so I hadn't worn it since. I figured it would not come out. Cookie, the sweet woman at the front, assured me they would try. I cannot believe it!! The stain came out! This is the best cleaners I've ever been to, they do the best job, they are super affordable, and they are so kind here (kudos to Cookie!!). Def my cleaners forever. I had the need for a rush dry cleaning over New Year's and 7th Ave Cleaners was only one I found that could do the job quickly. I dropped my suit and confirmed with staff they would be open until 5PM on New Year's Eve - only I showed up at 4:30PM and they were closed. Because of this I was prepared to leave a negative review but the owner completely turned this around. She contacted me the morning of New Year's Day to apologize. Not only that, she drove the suit to my house and did not charge me for the cleaning - no one provides this level of service today! By far the worst cleaners I have ever been to in my life. No exaggeration! I dropped off 2 work shirts, work vest, and my work pants. To recieve my pants, vest and 1 shirt the next day and they said it takes THREE DAYS to starch an item. So the 2nd shirt was to be starched. I pick up my uniform the next morning before work. The vest was ok. Technically no problem there. My pants and button down shirt, the crease lines on both were non-existent after putting the items on... How do you press an article of clothing and there's no crease line. Well it made perfect sense when I came back 2 days later to get my startched shirt and I asked, "Did you even starched this???" They replied, "No just dry cleaned." WTF! ARE YOU FN KIDDING ME! So I asked, "What was the point of me leaving my work shirt here for 3 days if it wasn't getting starched...?" Well we have no notes for it to be starched. So when I came 2 days ago to get all of my other items why would I leave this shirt here if it wasn't getting starched and it was just gonna sit here, I could've taken that with me as well! NEVER WOULD I EVER, recommend this place or step foot back in that establishment! Waisted time and money!!! Don't waist your time! read more

I have spent a lot of money here, and most recently it has really gone downhill. I paid extra for my wife's blazer to be cleaned with one day turn around. When we got the blazer it had just been steamed flat and not cleaned, It still smelled as if she had just worn it. When I brought this up while there, they said that one day cleans do not get cleaned as well since there isn't enough time to clean it multiple times. Why the heck are you charging me extra if you don't go through the entire process? I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Horrible. Simply horrible. I came here to get a couple items cleaned. A couple skirts, a sweater.. and then.. a BELTED jacket. A simple wool coat that had a belt. When I came to pick up my stuff, everything was kosher and basic. The young lady working was meh-- but whatever. Just needed to pick up my stuff and this BELTED jacket. And when I looked at my HEFTY bill. I noticed a line charge; "belt." "What's this charge? For a belt? I didn't get a belt cleaned" "That's for the belt on the jacket." "But it's part of the jacket." "It can come off. It's separate. You should know this." "Umm. I'm sorry, I don't understand? It's part of the jacket." "Yeah, but it can come off.. That's the charge. That's just the way it is." ... this conversation proceeded for another 5 mins.. in the end where this rude girl was basically charging me extra for the belt. I then asked for the manager, and she said he would charge me the same way... So, about 10 more mins of waiting, the manager finally came. The manager did take it off. The rude girl was huffing and puffing the whole time he did it, and had her mouth all ajar when we were going through the transaction. Simply rude. **update: I got a call from the manager recently who asked me to take this down, because it was getting a lot of hits. A personal call. A bit intrusive in my opinion. He asked that I take it down, because it made them look bad. I still won't edit, because it did happen. When I've had reviews that didn't go so well on other businesses, the owners have always followed up via yelp, which is requested both by yelp (i followed up regarding what their policy was on businesses contacting reviewers) and general good business practice. It was definitely a bit intrusive to call me to complain about a review. read more

Very disappointed. Used to love this place, but as they got more business/customers with Downtown's growth, their customer service, friendliness and turn-around time has dropped dramatically. After the last 3 consecutive visits having dealt with the bitchy older Mexican woman or new faces who move at a snail's pace and can't accomplish the minimal of tasks, I'm taking my business elsewhere. It takes them typically FOUR business days to do a laundered shirt, which is quite frankly ridiculous. While their prices are decent (not expensive, but not cheap) their customer service has turned to nastiness or slow/incompetent. I believe they could not handle their business's growth and lost the most important part of a successful business - treating their customers right and being reliable and courteous. I had an alteration done on a sweater and they did a great job. It came out as good as I expected, and it was completed in the amount of time that they quoted me. The only issue I had was I found a small, discolored area on the inside of the sweater. No big deal since its on the inside, but still. Way over priced for what you get. I paid over 50 bucks for 5 things! If they would have given me the receipt with the price on it when I dropped off my clothes I would def had taken my stuff else where. I think normal prices would be 5 bucks per item but that's just me and my experiences with other cleaners. Also, they managed to somehow shrink one of my shirts??? I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is great and the parking they offer is key in the city. The staff is rude and completely unhelpful for the most part unless you happen to catch them on a good day or work with the friendly owner. The first time it happened I figured I caught someone on a bad day but every time I drop off or pick up my dry cleaning recently (approx 2-3 times a month) I have a similar experience. If you live in the gaslamp or east village chances are you will give this place business because at the end of the day they have great prices and are conveniently located. Just don't expect a friendly hello or a smile from the people behind the counter when you go. read more

My girlfriend's brand new silk blouse, that was worn only once, had a minor stain on it so she took it here out of convenience. They were able to remove the stain, but dumbfoundedly they also removed half the fabric where the stain used to be. There is now an unsightly thinned out splotch. At least they have location and competitive pricing going for them, because their workmanship is lacking. read more
