I stopped by the Ala Moana store on a Saturday after a morning run to have my silver choker cleaned. I was greeted by an employee as she explained to me that I am not the person on the account, as he has to be present to pick up when it's finished. The mgr Jessica had intercepted the conversation and made sure I was taken care of and fixed it so I can pick up my choker myself. I had a brief conversation with Jessica and she made my day as she complimented me, and very genuine while making me feel very special. I had a wonderful experience at Tiffany & Co. Last Saturday, I inquired about a necklace that wasn't in stock. Kiki kindly offered to have it brought in from New York and scheduled an appointment for me to try it on today. When I arrived for my appointment, the necklace was there waiting for me. From the moment I met Kiki until I walked out with my beautiful new necklace, the customer service was exceptional. Jess, one of the managers, was also incredibly friendly and helpful. So I will preface this a bit... hubs and I have such a hard time buying gifts for each other. We've been together for going on 20 years, empty nesters, etc etc. Basically we have more disposable income to just enjoy a bit for the decades of work we've put in. So as the Christmas tunes fill our house, I get that funny idea (I wonder where from, haha) to trim our tree from Tiffany! Another preface, I'm disabled and spend about 90% of my day on the same side of the couch in the living room. As such, hubs never bats an eye at anything that enhances my functionality, my happiness, or my view. So when I mentioned what I wanted, he was thrilled at the clue! So while I was busy with an event at Ala Moana, hubs thought it was the perfect opportunity to shop for me. He informed the associate that he wanted to check out the ornaments. The associate said they didn't have them on display and directed him to the area to see what they had. He also showed hubs the website on his phone. One particular item that hubs was interested in, the associate said there's only so many left. Hubs taking that to mean "in stock in store" he said, "oh, I'd like to see that one!" The associate's response was "If we had it in the store, I would've showed it to you". Hubs must really love me because he let that slide and continued with the order despite an extremely uncalled for response of purely rude attitude. The associate asked for hubs' name and said, "I cant find you in our system". Hubs, unsure why that mattered, said "There's no need to find me in your system, you can just register me to place the order." Response fail #2? "I'm following my process". In a very shut down manner. But the fun didn't stop there... his next line was "Perhaps we can find someone else to assist you." Again in a very shutdown manner. And hubs says, "ok, let's do that". The associate apparently didn't expect that response as he seemed extremely shocked and asked "What?" So hubs repeated "Yeah, let's do that" Although hubs asked for the manager, the assistant manager came out instead. Hubs ended up asking someone else to speak to the manager. Hubs is an EXTREMELY aware individual and on the way home he mentioned he saw every associate sizing up every single individual who came in. Based on previous reviews, I'm getting the idea that this is not an isolated incident and perhaps they need more training? But if that's the case, is the sizing up part of the training? So if they're truly weeding through customers, then maybe it's best that they choose to keep their selective intent on their sleeve so that folks like us can at least be aware we're not welcome. We certainly got that message today. I'll continue wearing the jewelry because hey, we bought them from other locations and it's not like I'm getting refunds LOL. But I will not be trimming my tree with some decorations bought at Tiffany!! Boo... oh well! read more

You guys know those snooty places that are all over Ala Moana. The places that have $500 wallets and never blink an eye or even turn to you to ask if you need help. I've walked out of those too many times to count. Tiffany is NOT this place. I was truly shocked when they invite you in and treat you like a real person. I think this place has some of the best service anywhere and they treat you royal even if you are not spending serious bucks. I just want to give a huge shout out to Michelle in the Customer Service department. She made me feel so comfortable and made me feel like I belong. Sometimes walking into a luxury jewelry store can be very intimidating with all eyes on you, watching your every move, trying to read the room, to see how far to push the sale. But Michelle was so effortless in her encounter with me. I inquired if Tiffany sold any earrings with posts that don't contain silver or nickel in it because all of their earrings have currently made my ears bleed. Ran through sterling silver, white gold and now onto platinum to try out. Michelle went on to say that the posts are normally mixed with some kind of metal and maybe it's copper or something else that might be irritating my ears? Anyways, I guess I'll just have to keep on with my trial and error methods as all my allergen tests say I'm fine. Anyways, this time I brought in 4 pieces of jewelry to get cleaned (3 necklaces and a ring). This service was provided complimentary at the store, with a 48-hour window of completion. Michelle took down the descriptions of my items that I dropped off, printed out a receipt and told me to bring that back in 2 days to pick up. Too easy! When I went back to pick-up, I was assisted by a gentleman (totally didn't get his name) who checked my ID, checked my receipt and quickly went in the back to grab my items. They were all nicely placed in individual little Tiffany bags for me to double check before my departure. If for whatever reason, you're not satisfied with the jewelry cleaning they have in store, you can opt to send out your pieces to New York for $40 per piece. All in all, I've never had an issue with this location or any of their locations for that matter and I will keep continuing on my quest to find an earring that works for me! read more

I went this place since my best friend wants to buy a necklace for her birthday, so I stop by to this and look for her gift to surprise her. I made an appointment since they referred to make an appointment before you visit during covid. I told them that do not tell or mention about this because this will be her gift. My mom & dad just celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary by renewing their vows on Hawaii's 9th Island - Las Vegas! Before the big day arrived, I wanted to get something special for my mom. Since my sister, niece, and I were honored to be apart of bridal entourage, I thought I'd make it extra special and get something we could all remember this 50th occasion by. I decided on "Something blue" with a twist. Everyone loves to receive a Tiffany blue gift bag and box, right? Before I walked into the Tiffany store, I perused the Tiffany website to see if I could find something to signify their Golden anniversary. I found the Return to Tiffany Bead Bracelet which had a mini heart tag in Rubedo® metal (a rose gold color). According to the description, this bracelet was developed in honor of Tiffany's 175th anniversary, Rubedo® metal glows with a delicate, rosy luminescence inspired by the light of dawn. Perfect. This is it! I walked into the Tiffany Ala Moana store on a mission and ended up being helped by Natsuko! She happened to be the same sales associate that assisted me about a year ago and was very helpful once again. I was ready to see, touch, and feel the bling, so Natsuko slipped on the white gloves and showcased the bracelet. I then realized there were three different lengths. Since my family is on the mainland, I had my niece help out by walking into a Tiffany location near her to try it on for size. Based on my wrist size and hers, I went with medium (7") for all. A few days later, I was able to phone in the order for four matching bracelets with Natsuko and the bracelets arrived within five days. I picked them up at Customer Service located in the back of the store. Each bracelet was inspected and individually wrapped in box. I presented the bracelet to my mom, sis, and niece in the bridal dressing just before my mom was to walk down the aisle. We promised to wear the bracelets all the time to remember the love we have for one another no matter where we are in this world and to someday achieve a 50th Golden anniversary ourselves someday!! Next thing ya know, he drops me off a big cup of Joe with my favorite Big Island cookie to go with my coffee. When Amy found what I was looking for, she came out and showed it to me (with white gloves on). After my approval, I went ahead and paid for the item, then she took it in the back to have it wrapped it up. (I like that, because I'm worthless in the wrap department!) When my order was ready, Amy came back out with my purchase.........all nicely wrapped up. Stewart also took the time to talk to me, and ask me if I would like to help him by filling out a survey (which I gladly did), and he also explained to me that their jewelry has a lifetime service on it if you ever needed it cleaned. Best experience ever! My then-boyfriend and I visited Tiffany's a year ago just to window shop, we got an undivided attention from Joy who gladly showed us the different sizes, and be able to touch & feel. Mind you, I was tipsy so I might have forgot everything haha. Fast forward to September 2017. After 10 years of dating, WE (Walter & Elysia) got engaged at the same spot he asked me to be his girlfriend. Clear sky, beautiful north shore sunset, and soooo many turtles bobbing out of the shore side (FYI, I learned turtles are good luck), he got on one knee & popped the question "*insert whole name here* will you be my princess forever?" I don't remember anything before that bc my ears were plugged, I had to shishi, & I was in the middle of swallowing my poke & rice LMAO! But we can just blame the fact I was caught off guard & the beautiful little blue box with a diamond sitting in there. Unfortunately, it was one size too small bc he figured it'd fit since I lost weight (thoughtful tho haha). Plus I might have been swollen too bc Hawaii was soooo hot. We went back to Tiffany's the next day to drop it off & get it resized. Upon arriving, we were greeted right away & congratulated by Stewart (Or Stuart) offering water, coffee, or champagne. Obviously we chose the champaign to toast with. I mean, the only time we toast with coffee is when we actually wake up at 5AM, on time, & make it to the gym before 6AM haha. We were promptly taken into a private room with endless "congratulations" :). I was shocked that Joy was the same one that helped my fiancé pick out the ring & helped us with everything else! She taken out several ring with various sizes for me to try as we figure out what size will best suit me and 7 was THE ONE! Smart move btw, she brought out wedding bands to check my size with, and I was able to WINK WINK my way into letting Walter know which band would look beautiful with my already beautiful engagement ring. ;) We were told it takes about 3 weeks for me to receive my resized ring since they'll send it off to New York, but Joy made a quick call to see if she can squeeze us in to have the ring resized locally instead. Good news! She did and we're told the ring will be available a day before I had to fly back to Vegas. Left my ring on a Saturday afternoon and picked it up Wednesday morning. It was soooo beautiful! Just in case you were the lady that handed me my ring, I'm sorry that we were the first customer in there once the door opened hahaha. I know it was early in the morning haha. I never expected to actually have my dream ring to actually be the one I get proposed, too :) I was skeptical of the price bc we are adults now and mommy & daddy no longer pay for the roof over our heads, gas tank, bills, heck not even our internet haha. I went to the Tiffany store in Ala Moana, got a very sweet sales lady name Cindy, she was so helpful and such a great sales associate that made us feel special and important. Long story short, since Cindy was such a good sales and the wedding band was a pretty good choice so we decided to get it tonight. I am a fan of Tiffany & Co. Of course what girl wouldn't be after receiving their first amazing gift wrapped up in that adorable little blue box and oversized white bow? I have been shopping at Tiffany & Co. for years in store as well as spending many hours on the computer drooling at the hundreds of beautiful options on their website. I have had to make a few purchases online because unfortunately the store doesn't carry everything on their website. Sometimes that would make or break the deal for me because looking at a piece of jewelry online sometimes isn't the same as being able to touch, hold or even try it on yourself for size. Service here is usually hit or miss, but I always try to dress a little nicer on the days I know I'd be hitting up stores like this one, GUCCI or even Louis Vuitton. I wouldn't dare think about stepping into those stores on those furry animal industry days in my medical scrubs and jibbitz adorned crocs. Imagine what kind of looks I'd receive! My mom and I took a trip to Tiffany and were immediately greeted by the doorman and also several staff members. Gerald smiled at us immediately, stopped talking to another staff member, and asked what we were interested in seeing. I just turned 30 last month and with pearls being my birthstone, my mom wanted to purchase something extra special for me. Gerald brought out all of the pearl studs in the size that I preferred so that I could see the different sheen and iridescence of each pair. My mom also presented a pendant that she had purchased from a different jeweler that had a broken chain. The little blue box. Its a symbol that everyone knows and wants. The name is well renowned and the jewelry they carry is timeless. Yes, I do admit they are a bit overpriced; you are paying for the quality of the item and the name brand, but also you know that you can trust that your piece is legitimate (the real deal). I have come into this store many times, and have always received excellent customer service. You don't need to be wearing Prada shows or carry a Louis Vuitton. This store has exemplary customer service, no matter who you are. And even when I just browse and walk out with nothing, they are still very polite. They just remodeled their store; the renovation seems to have more the store smaller but sparkle more. They have a huge selection of jewelry- all the bling is in the front and the silver is towards the back for us folks who don't make 6 figures... They now even carry handbags and some decorative home items such as vases. They have keychains and money clips too. Some of their items have been around for awhile, like some of the Elsa Peretti designs but others have a short life (like the star collection). As I was browsing, the lady saw my Tiffany's diamond/pink sapphire platinum ring and told me about their cleaning service. Being the skeptic of nothing is free, I asked her the uncouth question of "how much is it?" She was kind and didn't look down at me for asking such a question. She said it was free. :) Customer Service is in the back... you can get your jewelry cleaned for free ($5 per piece for silver pieces) as often as you like. *I didn't realize the same location had two different Yelp pages so i am posting here as well* I came to see if they could do something about the tarnished piece my husband bought me for our anniversary. They didn't help. Although they normally, do it for free, they couldn't clean it due to covid. The customer service lady was very disrespectful. She was insuring I didn't take proper care of my piece, she wouldn't let me get a word in. I felt judged, my husband said the same. You'd think from a high brand they would be a little be more respectful to their customers. I got a sterling silver piece, they ensured could be cleaned for $35. But, since I already had the cleaner at home, I cleaned it myself, nothing changed, therefore I returned the piece. I went in to Tiffany's at Ala Moana in hopes to get 3 necklaces for my boyfriend's step mom and 2 sisters for Christmas. I walked in, looked around and couldn't find the necklaces I was looking for. I asked a gentleman if he knew where these particular necklaces were and he showed it to me. He was really kind and told me that someone else will be able to assist me with this purchase because he was assisting another customer. Anyways, I waited and waited and WAITED for someone to help me. I asked a woman if she can help me, but she just looked at me and went to help the couple next to me. This is the reason why I feel very discouraged shopping at high end places. It's really embarrassing to be walking around in the store and just see all these workers that are clearly available to help but don't. After 30 minutes of just walking around and waiting for someone to ask me if I needed assistance (I was already embarrassed to ask another worker because of the incident that just happened to me), I walked out and just went to buy them jewelry from Pandora. My advice is to have a sign up sheet like Pandora if customers need assistance. Don't get me wrong, I still will be shopping at Tiffany's because I love their jewelry. Until COVID cools down, you must be attended by their store staff while you're inside the store. The staff was assigned to me, and he was one of the most rude store staff I've ever interacted in my life. True I didn't look my best nor I have a lot of money, but every question and comment he's made, made me feel uncomfortable and disqualified to be there, like I'm not worthy of his time. I told him I was looking for necklace. Looking for something special to celebrate my birthday. He said he can take me to the showcases of silver and gold accessories, I didn't have any specific material in mind so I followed him, and he went and pointed at the cheapest items and said "these ones are starting at $250...". Every different designer, he would point at and recommends the cheapest item. I've always loved Tiffany and I've met many wonderful store staff at their stores, so really disappointed with this experience. I hope they can revisit their staff training, unless they feel Tiffany is only for people they approve. read more

Last time I went home, we decided to give Tiffany & Co. Ala Moana another try. We were lucky to have met a super amazing salesperson, Ben, who was just so very helpful and friendly, I felt as if it was worth buying something from him, so I did. I settled on the basic, well known tiffany bracelet, the ones you can get charms on. I also decided to get it hand engraved since Ben said that hand engraving was definitely worth it. Since we had to wait a couple weeks for the bracelet, our journey with Tiffany's did not end on this day with the super salesperson named Ben. We had to come back. So, two weeks later, we returned to the store to pick up my bracelet as UPS tracking had recorded that it was delivered to the store online. Of course, we didn't go the day it said it arrived. That would be silly. They were supposed to call me, but they didn't. So, a few days after I saw that it had arrived, we made our way to the store. At Tiffany's, we looked around to see if Ben was there, but he wasn't, so we asked the first lady we saw if we could pick up the bracelet I had purchased. The lady was not very friendly as she looked at me as if she looked at me with a confused expression on her face. I asked again if I could pick up the bracelet I purchased. She said, do you have the receipt? I said yes and gave it to her. She left me at the counter, took my receipt, and went in the back, to get the lady that deals with engraved stuff I guess? I don't know, but another lady then returned with the bracelet. I must say, the person who brought out the bracelet was very friendly, but I'm still confused as to why the other lady was not :( Well, that transaction was over, and I decided to look at settings for my diamond as I have been looking for a different style for a little while. I went over to what I thought was the settings area as some other guy was looking at engagement rings. He was talking to the saleslady, so I kept to myself until he was done. Once he was, I tried to ask the lady if I could look at a setting in the case, but she just walked past me. I don't get it. Their jewelry is so much money, why are some of these salespeople so unfriendly? And then you get these super nice ones once in a while? I would think they would always be helpful and consistent. I walked into Tiffany's today to try and find a replacement glass to a decanter set. I asked where the glassware was and instead of directing me to it, the woman at the door asked if I had an appointment. I said that I didn't and then she proceeded to ask my name and request my phone number. I just turned around and walked out. The experience felt somewhat snobbish. Do they no longer allow browsing? For me, going into a store like this, let alone purchasing anything from Tiffany & Co. would be a bit far-fetched. However, yesterday my experience here was AMAZING! Just by walking into the store I was sincerely greeted by every employee walking the sales floor, as well as the ones behind the jewelry counters. I was instantly provided help by the sweet & genuine sales professional, Melanie Kim. She made my shopping experience very comforting. With her experience & helpful knowledge, she was able to help me with my decision on the gift I was buying for a friend of mine. After my final decision of purchasing the classic timeless Heart Tag Bracelet, Melanie was very honest, & did not want to sell me the last one that was available in stock; due to it having a minor scratch in the back of the pendent. She wanted to ensure that the bracelet was completely flawless & in the best condition. I still insisted on purchasing the bracelet regardless, the scratch itself you could barely see. Yet, Melanie ensured me that if there was a problem later by any chance, I could return the bracelet, & she would personally order another one with no infractions. Melanie, also provided great conversation, made my experience comfortably personal, & memorable as if we became newfound good friends. Highly recommend her services After neatly boxing the bracelet, tying the white bow around the box, & bagging it up in their alluring famous teal gift back bag; I left feeling well validated by my purchase & time I spent with Melanie, during my visit. I can honestly say that I would come back again for this awesome experience with Melanie or any of her friendly coworkers. Tiffany & Co. really shows their compassion for people, of all walks of life, even if it has its famous high-end luxury reputation. The customer service that was provided, really bridges the gap between any social class, & welcomes anyone to their beautiful, high-end, highly sought out, famous, pristine inventory. I walked into their store last night wearing just casual shirt, shorts & slippers. I knew exactly what I wanted to get my sister for her birthday. Sadly, I wasn't acknowledged at all by any of the 6 sales associates that were there. I stood in front of the display case with the necklace I wanted to buy. There was a sales associate sitting behind the case going through the drawer below. Not once did she acknowledge me, even though I stood there for over 10 minutes. After waiting around with no acknowledgment or help I decided to leave. As I headed to the front door I see 2 sales associates talking story. While I'm leaving, the sales associate ask if I need something. I replied with a "No thank you, it seems like everyone is too busy. I've been waiting for a while and no one said anything. I'll just order my necklace online." The sales associate tried to tell me that I would have to pay for shipping if I ordered online. I replied with..."it's okay, I'll pay the shipping fee." She said "you sure?" I replied, "ya it's okay" and left. The Male greeter at the door did say "Hi" when I walked in. That's the only reason I'm even giving this store any stars. But sadly, that was the only positive experience here at this store read more

My 14-yr old son and I went in on 10/24/20 around 7pm. My son had informed me that his mom "hinted" to him that if we happened to be at Ala Moana, that maybe we could stop by @ Tiffany's to get a bracelet she had been looking at online. Since it was her birthday on 10/26...I figured ok, let's go in. Was hesitant, because I am not someone who tends to go in here a lot (I had purchased something for my wife here many many years ago), with no issues. Intimidated as we walked in? Oh yes! Still the staff that was at the door and behind the counter were very welcoming. This visit stood out simply because of one person: Gerald. He was our salesman and he made myself & my son feel like we were the most important people in the store, let alone the entire mall! He listened to what I had inquired about, brought out different items, was very thorough and knowledgeable on the items (we even found out why it's called the "Return To Tiffany's" collection). Gerald was friendly, engaging, pleasant, and never once made me feel uncomfortable or as if we did not belong in Tiffany's. He even tried to look up my info since I had purchased something previously (but to no avail...he tried though). If he is not Tiffany's Brand Ambassador of Customer Service, then I don't know who should be. Point blank...Gerald is the main and only reason I purchased from Tiffany's that Saturday night! Kudo's to this fine associate of Tiffany's...and with Christmas around the corner...you can definitely bet if my wife throws another "hint" to my son(s) or myself? I have a few pieces of jewelry all from this location. I like the security?/greeter at the door that most higher end places have. I think since they carry some inexpensive things it draws in a lot of people making it pretty busy. I haven't been in once time that it was on the emptier side. The associates are all quite friendly and they really know every single piece of jewelry they carry. I was quite impressed. The only thing I don't care too much about is that they don't seem to really try to sell you anything. I mean, of course I don't want to be pushed into buying something, but it's like they ask you for help, and if you "browsing" they just leave you and never ask again. Even when we were looking at wedding bands, they would only show us the ones they asked to see from online and a couple similar pieces. They didn't tell us about the number of carats the diamonds in the rings were, or the gold. All they said was "it looks nice" when it was tried on. We had to ask about everything... Either way, I still like Tiffany's jewelry and the location is convenient for me, so I like to come here. read more

This place is super inconsistent with customer service. There are times that the sales associates are soo helpful and quick, but there are other times where they don't acknowledge you or even know your existence at all. It seems like they only help people who are buying things not people asking help or questions about jewelry so they can somewhat buy in the end. It's sad and yes I'm not sure why the sellers appear to judge you when they probably make the amount of a sale associate hourly. Sad reality. People come here because they love the brand and want to buy something as a memory therefore they ask questions before they spend a load on a tiny ring or a pendent yet you sale associates just look at the people and ignore. 5 stars for The man who greets at the door though! He acknowledged me and saw that I was looking around yet was being ignored by all the sellers because they were just standing there like they were busy. The greeter at the door is even more helpful than the sales associate asking if I need help he will ask a worker to help me. read more

Normally I would never walk into a store like this one.... it is way above my budget- but hey, I love the jewelry :) I have gotten two bracelets and a pair of earrings as gifts but they were from my mom when I was a teenager. As my wedding was coming up, I realized I wanted to wear them then. However, they were HEAVILY tarnished. I tried cleaning them at home with jewelry cleaner but one of them just SNAPPED! WHAT?! I was pretty upset, so marched myself into the store to talk to customer service the very next day. I knew mom had paid a lot for it and whether it was 15 or 50 years old, I expected it to last. Tiffany's agreed to replace the chain that broke for $50 and clean the beads (that I had saved) to restore the bracelet. I wasn't completely satisfied but didn't have a receipt so was grateful that at least they were willing to do that. While I was there, I brought my other jewelry and asked for it to be cleaned. They did so for free and the jewelry looked as good as new! When I got the bracelet back, it also looked amazing. Customer service was helpful and kind, even though I wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome. You are, for sure, paying for the brand name when you shop here but the jewelry is gorgeous and being able to clean it for free is a great perk. read more
