I went to Tiffany's this morning for a bacon and egg sandwich on sourdough with cheddar cheese. I was given two slices of bacon. One of the bacon was not completely cooked. The presentation was terrible for the 10.00 plus tax that I paid. I'm very upset about what I received. I was in a rush to get to work so I started eating it since I had not eaten breakfast. I expect better service, especially since I went back in to complain, but nothing was done about it. I'm not sure how this company is still in business. read more

Experience from 1/25/2018: This is the cafe to go to, especially when seeking for a spot to get burgers and fries, donuts, breakfast items and even a cup of coffee. The main part of this is because some of my colleagues have been patronizing this place. My colleagues coming here motivated me to come and order some food. This is when I came in and ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. However, they ran out of french fries. One of the owners told me since french fries are sold out, they can offer curly fries. It is very honest of them to let me know which is a good thing. Definitely major bonus points to them for doing that. My order consist of: - a cheeseburger - french fries - curly fries - a bottle of cranberry grape juice Reasons for rating: - good food - good service - clean facility - friendly staff Just one thing to know, this cafe is not very large. I love neighborhood Cafes and Tiffany's fits the ideal! I grew up in San Francisco and it's culture is to dine at your local neighborhood merchants. I was out in the field for work and happened to be @ the Bayview District of San Francisco and found Tiffany's Cafe and glad I did. I met the owner Jennifer she is so nice. I was in the mood for breakfast late in the afternoon and she made me the best Denver omelet with whole wheat toast, hash brown and coffee. She also have a full Barista to savor even the most discerning of coffees! And if you have been following me - you know I consume a lot of coffee throughout my day! Went here for first time. The cashier was strange and very fast. Not friendly. He took took forever to take our order. Was in back with no attention to customer at the door. I got a regular coffee wkth cream and sugar. Too bad it's not a self serve as far as cream and sugar are involved. I hot hazelnut. Maybe the coffee was not freshly made and sitting too long ? It had a bad after taste. I decided to throw out and get a regular coffee from the Starbucks nearby. :( I also got the breakfast sandwich. Ran out of croissants::(. I got wheat bread instead. Came in when in the area absurdly early for an appointment, and tried some omelets and the white chocolate mocha- loved the quality and selection of coffees, unexpected surprise. BF opted for the Popeye's omelet, with spinach, mushrooms, and swiss, and enjoyed it, along with the homefries. I tried both but preferred the flavors in my Louisiana omelet- hot sausage, bell peppers, onions and cheese. Though I preferred the flavors in my omelet, it was not fully cooked- found raw, runny patches of egg in the bottom half of my omelet, and the cheese was not at all melted in some places. Overall, flavor was good and sausage was of good quality. Service was okay. Rowdy group of regulars took up the majority of the table seating and were somewhat disruptive during our visit. Please don't let the surrounding area/looks fool you. Tiffany's is a solid and generally a smooth and easy choice of meal place with rather quick meal prep time. I haven't had everything but I would recommend the Breakfast Wrap (literally a breakfast burrito) with your choice of meat or no meat. It hasn't failed me yet. Please not parking is tight and you should definitely place your order by phone before hand. You will only spend 3 minutes in the shopping center if you call ahead. Was offered a free doughnut however after finding hair in your food and walking to the bathroom and seeing how dirty it was I was hesitant to eat more food from this place. Tiffany's cafe made me feel comfortable, there food is amazing. Appreciating the customer service first of all, made me feel good about this restaurant. The Denver Omlet looks amazing and when I go back to San Francisco I'm definitely going to try it. This is my go to restaurant when I'm in town, AMAZING portions. Customer here is defiantly not a priority. Came in to get a small coffee and no one was in line and the cashier went to the back to do other things but refused to say good morning or be there in a minute. I see where the frustrations come in at. I left and went over to Starbucks and was greeted when I came in and my drink was so good. My boyfriend likes 'Big Eats' meaning big portion and good prices. He was craving for french toast, waffle, pancake and all time favorite breakfast. His coworker knew about this place so, we went. The tiny coffee shop has 6 different flavored coffee to choose from. The waitress are very friendly. They cook immediately after we order, very fresh. I ordered the Oriental Chicken Salad and it has crispy won-ton skins on top and the dressing was awesome with a peppery kick to it. I wonder if they sell the dressing itself it's so good. My boyfriend ordered the Tiffany Omelet it has mushroom, avocado , cheese, ham and sausages. The order comes with toast and jelly. In addition you are to choose 1 side of hash brown, country potatoes, grit, or steam rice. With just what he order it was a hearty breakfast. OMG! wait until you see the portion size!!! the omelet and the hash brown was the size of his big palms. Oh yeah, we also got a dozen of huge donut holes to go hehehe gotta have my sweets. $18 for the entire meal, pretty darn good for all that food. We left happy especially my boy. I normally stop by Tiffany on my cheat day have a Turkey burger and fries and sometimes on of those pastries that look like they were pumped full of HGH or Steriods. They are huge! I'm updating my review and rating based on today's lunchtime visit. I ordered their fried chicken with fries plate and loved it. I got four pieces of chicken and each one had a crispness that I would rate as one of the better one's I've had. The price ($8.95 plus tax, I believe) is not bad either compared to other places selling similarly-made fried chicken. This can be dangerous because they're in the area of my work. :) Also, I can increase the star rating because now the lady that's usually at the counter is quite nice. They greet me by name whenever I come in, and they know what I order and how I like it. They've always been incredibly nice and at least act like they're super happy to see me. The serving sizes are big and filling. The food is what you would expect from a greasy spoon breakfast/lunch diner. The prices are a bit high but not unreasonable. If you can, call your order in. They do get slammed sometimes, and there can be a wait. This is not the best place to walk in and order if you only have half an hour for lunch. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I have been working upstairs from Tiffany's since it opened a few years ago. All my co-workers were so very excited when it opened because there was no decent place to grab food around here. We all became friends with the owners and frequented the place often, even though it was very very expensive for what it was. Well, there are new owners now and I just paid $7.54 for a chicken ceasar salad. Now that price is pretty reflective of a lunch time salad around here. Why am I miffed??? Well, because the chicken is boiled all to hell and there are only a few pieces in this salad which is sprinkled with those cheap cheap mini croutons that taste nasty!!! I wish I weren't so hungry because I would totally take it back. How hard is it to make a decent salad??? These new owners have cut corners and changed most of the staple menu items and turned them into disgusting displays of expensive garbage! I used to get the ceasar from the old Tiffany's and although I paid a lot for it, at least I was satisfied when I was done; huge pieces of grilled chicken and large tasty croutons. Ehhh, I work near the plaza so unfortunately its one of the only places in the Bayview to get a decent meal. With that being said, I've had a few hits and I've definitely had a few misses. Whenever I've ordered the "mini breakfast" its always been decent. For around 7 dollars (price went up, boooo) you can get, 1 egg, hash browns, toast and a meat of your choice and orange juice. Its always cooked perfectly and can't really go wrong with these basic items. However, I have had their breakfast sandwich and it always seemed to be really greasy. I also find their donuts to be greasy as well which is weird to me. I've had their curly fries which are pretty yummy but then again had their Chicken Caesar Salad which was pretty gross, really. There is always an assortment of characters in this place. Lots of homeless people hang out in the Bayview plaza as well as umm lets just say, products of the neighborhood so you never know what kind of experience you will get when you drop in. This place us a scam from the beginnings, when i ordered. I had read reviews on how they charged other customers, but i went with open mind. When I went in ordered Terriyaki Beef, i ask no bag so no charge .25, they were out of fresh cooked vegetables, was salad ok he ask i said sure(online had 2 different priced menu 1 menu theirs was $8.75 their website, other Delivery apps was 11.75)was charged 14.98 i say tax is 8.63% in San Francisco so either 9.50@ 8.75 + tax, or 12.76 @11.75+tax, not 14.98 ? I ask what was price he said scan the code, No menu of prices on wall, No menu to look at prices anywhere? I left went on phone sat outside went back. I said current price must be 8.75 or is it 11.75 which is it?, then suddenly he says 10.75 he says no tax and no bag with ebt card i scanned it 4 or 5 times it did not work? Ok i will pay cash, suddenly its not same cost its now 11.75? Because of tax he says. Which is still wrong - Then with a credit card it's 12.75? So how was it 14.98 before? He was just making up prices from card scanner to cash regigster. DonT trust this place ask for reciept and check tax charged, bag fee, credit card fee, cash fee, made up fee, fake fees, fake charges or imaginary cost per item. It really doesnt matter good food I would not know, when staff or manager, cheats customers on cost when ringing up, this place cant be trusted. read more

I go to this place often. I like the food. However, during the pandemic they have been kind of lazy. They have been doing to-go orders just like every other restaurant lately which is fine but the service is not good right now. The ladies that usually take the orders are nicer and more attentive. The guy that has been taking the orders lately is always on his cell phone with his gloves on. When it is time to take orders, he doesn't switch gloves and is not that friendly. The last 2 orders I ordered on different dates there has been issues. The latest issue was my french fries were very hard and burnt. I wish the ladies would come back. It would also be great if the guy would switch gloves and practice safety measures a little more during the pandemic. read more

I hate doing this to a mom and pop local business but I had a horrible experience. Expect horrible service unless you are a regular and know the owners. I lined up behind someone ordering selecting donuts. We were the only two people in the shop. The person behind the counter saw me. As I waited, other regular customers walk up and were helped immediately with their orders. All this time, I'm standing there and she just looks at me and looks away. The only thing going for this place seems to be cheap donuts besides that nothing is worth the bad service. Starbucks just opened in the same plaza, you will be better off going there. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars. I've been eating here since I started working in the area around 2002. The portions have always been generous and the food is great.
