I was excited to try the Philly cheesesteak, especially with such high ratings. I miss Phat Philly ever since they closed and have been trying to find a replacement. Unfortunately, the cheesesteak from Golden Eagle was shockingly bad with large chunks of unrendered fat and it tasted awful. I managed about a third before composting the rest. I stopped by for the first time, the place was fully stored with snacks and drinks. The guy who took my order was nice and prepared my food. He made sure to throughly clean his hands before doing so. The inside is small but there is a two seat table where you can wait and a tv. I ordered the pastrami on white bread (cold) I think if I got Dutch crunch bread it would have been better but it was a good sandwich. This deli was recommended to me a while ago and I was excited to find it's one of the few places in Bayview open in the evening (until 8pm). Had a Philly cheese steak craving and it hit.the.spot. Great portions, and the meat and cheese melted together perfectly. The drink selection is insane, so many different fruit juices, sodas, etc as well. ONE OF THE BEST DELIS i have ever gotten food from. Their original location was at the corner of third, where that tj fish spot is at now. I remember coming here since i was in elementary school. tho, they changed their locations, food is still AWESOME! Love their fries, phillly cheese steaks, grilled chicken sandwhiches, cold sandwhiches ( i usually get turkey or bologna) hellllla gooooood foood! They give generoud portions and the owners are the sweetest folks around. You gotta try this spot. Location is pretty small, BUT you wont regret, thats for sure. read more

This is the place to go for homemade burgers. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and for 8 bucks, it was worth every dollar. These burgers are huge! I wanna say they're about 6 inches all around. The only complaint I have however is that the bacon could be a tad bit crispier, but other than that, I would recommend this place. read more
