This place can indeed be described as a "hidden gem." There's probably something for everyone here, but if you're wavering and need to make an adjustment, just ask. They're a "fusion" restaurant, so the plentiful choices are interesting and enticing--not overwhelming as in some Asian restaurants. And if you want something that's NOT on the menu, odds are they can make it for you as long as you're not wanting, say, a hamburger or tenderloin sandwich. I had the Korean Spicy Shrimp with vegetables.....and, following perhaps the best eggroll I've ever had, it was superb. I need to mention the delectable house-made sweet and sour sauce; it's in another, better, realm. And the service.. my wife and I don't think it could have been better. What a great location for food, it's nestled so quaintly in the Fishers Crossing. It's owned by a wonderful Chinese and Korean husband and wife duo. I ordered the Kalbi dinner portion, it was larger than I expected. The meat was tender and it was sautéed with mushrooms and onions. The seasoning was done to perfection and the glaze in it was amazing, close enough to my grandma's recipe. Definitely will come back. read more

When I go to a restaurant, and since I work in the industry as a chef, it takes a lot to really wow me when it comes to a dining experience but I was very much "wowed" tonight and I love when that happens. From the moment we walked into this place, I noticed the ambiance, the decor and the feel of the restaurant, we were greeted and welcomed by genuinely happy staff: Our server Manley, took the time to discuss some of the menu answer any questions and patiently waited for us to order, along the dining experience he also told us about himself and went out of his way to get to know us as well. It was genuine and unfiltered and I can't tell you how refreshing and uplifting it is to get good service let alone GREAT service like this. It's rare, and I feel like most establishments and especially now it's almost non-existent so when you do get great genuine service it blows me away. Manley than thoughtfully thanked us and asked our names and we got to confirm his. I know it's not much right? To ask your diners their names, what stands out is this simple act of getting to know us, genuinely thanking us and hoping we return. Here is the cherry on top, the food was some of if not the best I've had on the north side and in Indianapolis/Fishers. I could tell with the presentation, the first couple of bites that whomever was behind the creation of this food genuinely put their love, attention and detail into what they were making and serving (Come to find out it's Manley's Mom and Dad who are behind the operation, along with him) I'm sharing this to confirm my renewed faith that there are still really special gems and establishments that are most deserving of our business and who deserve to be praised because they are fleeting and so when you/we stumble upon them I feel it is our obligation to spread the good word to make sure these types of places don't go away. Seriously love this place. My wife and I order carry out from here about once a month. The owner's son greets me by name. The food is outstanding, not a bad dish on the menu and the staff make it a point to welcome you into their "home" - I'm not kidding, they treat you like family, such a great atmosphere. Heard so many good things about this place on the Hamilton County eats Facebook page and it was amazing!! The service was excellent and it was super busy for only one person working the floor. We started with the pan seared dumplings and they had soo much flavor. For my main meal I tried the Bibimbap with chicken instead of beef and it was also excellent! Everything is made super fresh and came out nice and warm. They have a plenty of different options for main courses so there is something for everyone. I would rate the experience here more as a 3.5. We were glad to see another Tiger Lily open up here, we used to visit the one on 86th street quite frequently. So we headed there over a Friday evening, and it was fairly busy although there were few empty tables. Once seated, it was few minutes before we got our water and order few minutes after that. Lot of take out orders were being placed, judging by people coming in and ordering at the counter. We ordered the spicy bao for us to share and my son likes having dumplings and wontons for dinner, so thats what he got.Those 3 appetizers came in one at a time and a little slower than expected. The spicy bao was good- especially the bread, pillowy soft. The spicy mayo was good..I wasnt a fan of the crispy chicken - it lacked flavor and was a little tough in texture. The dumplings was very much enjoyed by my son. The wonton was plain cream cheese dumplings, definitely no crab in it. Well after that we waited and waited for our entrees, we were told they are backed up with orders. My daughter had ordered just a small side of noodles and we were hoping at least she could get her food. She got it after a while but it was almost an hour after ordering our food that we got our entrees. I had the cilantro beef and shrimp with rice and my husband had the Three of a kind. Our dishes looked similar oddly. Mine did taste great and I was happy with the food. So was hubby. The food is decent provided the item, so in future if we do have a craving we might do a take out but I dont think we will be spending an hour and half dining in there. read more

THE BEST Chinese in the greater Indianapolis area. Incredibly authentic, and so flavorful. The owners are the nicest people. Over the years, they've moved back and forth from Indy and their home country in Asia. Every time they've come back and re-opened Tiger Lily, we've realized how amazing their food is compared to any other Chinese option around. We took a chance on this place and were blown away by the service and the food. They make each dish individually so you can ask for more cilantro, less spice or really almost anything else. In strip mall between self defense and all you can eat Chinese buffet. Took me a few times to make sure where I was going. I was going to dine in then opted to do carry out, no particular reason. Restaurant was very clean. I asked what they had like pho, waiter made a recommendation. I ordered champong. It has shrimp, scallops and squid. My first taste of the broth I wasn't sure what to think. I took another taste and decided I really liked it, after my third, I loved it. 5 stars! Caution: spicy MEANS spicy. This isn't Indiana spicy. This is Korean spicy. I underestimated that. Their tiny red peppers are INTENSE. I have never seen them included in a meal before. Usually at Korean restaurants I've been to, they cook meals with the red peppers, but then remove them before they put it in front of you. I bit into one early and had to walk away from the meal for about 15 minutes til I could taste food again. But by the time I came back, I pulled out the peppers and enjoyed the meal. We all tried each other's foods and I would say the definite winners were the spicy chicken bao (As a heads up, that did not have the red peppers. The spice was in the aioli) and the crispy beef. The squid was cooked perfectly- tender, not rubbery... I think the flavor was ruined because I pulled out the peppers so that's on me. If you can do *spice*, you may love it. If you don't like spice, this meal may be a little bland. Honestly couldn't be happier to see a Korean restaurant out here. Plus they're nice folk! I hear you can call in advance if you want them to wear a mask or bring your food out to you. But that's not their default currently. read more

Our server was amazing and very helpful in suggesting items to try. Also, not only was he very friendly, he moved quickly and pre-bussed--it was great! This restaurant came highly rated by a lot of people. All of those folks were correct. I can't even begin to tell you how surprised we were as to how great the whole experience was at Tiger Lily 2 in Fishers. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman named Manley. He told us his parents had started the original Tiger Lily restaurant and that this location was more Asian-fusion centered. I had heard Tiger Lily 2 offered (if you asked) crispy pan fried noodles. The Cantonese restaurant I grew up with in Northern Indiana made these, which are wonderful. I had never found another Asian restaurant that prepared them quite the same way. Well, I told Manley about my search, and he eagerly offered their version to me. I LOVED this dish! A plate of crispy noodles with a pile of vegetables in a light, but tasty, brown sauce. No soy sauce needed, which is unusual for me since I "put that stuff on everything!" My husband had the night's special, bulgogi. His had beef and chicken, and was awesome. He's a picky eater, ordering pork fried rice almost exclusively, but he went out on a limb and was glad he did! Manley also talked up the dumplings and chicken egg rolls. We ordered both in addition to our meals, and were very happy we did! We're not fans of spicy foods, and none of our meals were spicy at all. They were very well prepared with excellent flavor. What made the entire experience so memorable was not only the food, but Manley himself. He took the time to chat with us several times throughout our meal, not just bringing us food and walking away. It made us feel like we were visiting his home and he was delighted to share his food with us. We have been looking for some time for a nice sit-down Asian restaurant, and we have found our spot! The place was spotless, the lighting very nice, the artwork on the walls was pleasing, and the music wasn't too loud. Plus, the food was wonderful! Compared to other asian cuisine we've had, it was bland and just didn't taste right. Not sure if we ordered the wrong things but when all 4 meals fell flat, I'm not sure it would have mattered. We had the spicy chicken bao buns to start with and the flavor was balanced so well you could taste each component. Next, we got the Korean crispy beef which was very crispy and served with a sweet and spicy sauce similar to a spiced up orange sauce. This also had a choice of rice.
