I happened to see Teriyaki Madness as i was heading north on Michigan Rd. I decided to stop in and grab an order to go. The interior is bright and attractive. It was very clean with a few people dining in. It appeared that most orders were carry out, at least in mid-afternoon when I was there. The menu is easy to read, with clear explanation of how to order the bowls. I chose a tofu noodle bowl, yaki style. The vegetables in the bowl were good, especially the broccoli. It was perfectly cooked, slightly crisp. Tofu was tasty too. I'm glad that I ordered extra Teriyaki sauce. Next time I will try the spicy tofu. I like the simple menu as it is not intimidating or difficult to order. It is fast and easy. I do wish there was a vegetarian spring roll on the menu for people who don't eat chicken. read more

Food and Drink: Had a taste for Hawaiian and/or fried rice today and this place crossed paths with me! I had the double protein bowl with veggies, fried rice, spicy chicken teriyaki and spicy steak teriyaki. The proteins were tender and flavorful!! The rice was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were tender to the bite. Next time I would want to raise the spice level and also try the yum yum sauce. Customer Service: Because this was a pickup order, I can't speak to direct customer service. BUT, I was able to walk in and get my order on time and conveniently. Ambiance: The ambiance wasn't the liveliest but based on the food quality, I'm shocked more people aren't coming here! This was a super random find while driving around the area during dinner time! The location is a bit hidden but very glad I stoped in to grab take out. I couldn't decide what protein I wanted so I ended up getting chicken and steak bowl with noodles - so delicious! The veggies and noodles tasted fresh and the chicken/steak was seasoned well. I ordered a large bowl to have leftovers and it's definitely a large bowl for about 2 people. The crab Rangoon were surprisingly good but not as much cream cheese which was pretty balanced. I found this new Teriyaki restaurant on Yelp as you can't see the sign from the road! They serve all things Teriyaki plus a few Japanese inspired sides. The Food is super fresh and flavorful. They are located in a former fast food place. The staff anxiously greeted us when we arrived for an early lunch. Teriyaki bowls are available in three sizes and come with choice of protein, starch and a standard vegetable mix of cabbage, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. I ordered a regular (medium) size Spicy Chicken Teriyaki protein bowl. The protein bowl have no starch, but have extra veggies. The Spicy Chicken is delicious with a lot of sweet heat. The chicken is super tender. The vegetables are fresh. The regular is a lot of food, so I took half home for later. The dining room is upscale and super clean in a fast food sort of way. The manager asked us how we liked our food and thanked us for coming. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Orders can be taken on line, in store or at the drive thru. Delivery is available as well. Food came out fairly quickly and was freshly prepared. Beverages are self serve. I'll be back. I love teriyaki and this is a convenient and tasty option. read more

Today was the grand opening of this Teriyaki Madness. They are doing $6 chicken teriyaki bowls all day today and tomorrow Saturday June 21. This bowl is normally about $10. The chicken teriyaki bowl is chicken thigh. They also have a bowl where you can get chicken breast for additional charge. This location use to be a Wendy's and it still feels like a Wendy's. Nothing special going on inside but the food was great. They have a few pictures on the walls. You order at the counter and then have a seat and they bring your bowl out to you. They serve Pepsi products. I can't wait to go back and try the orange chicken bowl. read more

They do a lot of Togo orders. We were the only ones inside eating. But lots of people came in and picked up food. I will say it wa decent. My husband liked it more than I did. Very impressed! My first visit was a treat, staff were very helpful suggesting menu items and explaining options. I went with the spicy chicken teriyaki with brown rice & veggies. Good heat level without being too much, great flavor and the teriyaki sauce at the table is money! I'll be adding this to the lunch rotation for sure! While we were staring at the menu, the man at the counter greeted us and asked if we had been there before. He offered to go over things with us. He explained it all and we both knew right away what we were ordering. He was friendly. The food is made right when you order it. It was great. We thought it was going to be set up like other rice bowl places where the food is there to choose from and it's thrown on top of your rice. I got the regular teriyaki chicken, husband got the grilled teriyaki chicken, one son got the katsu chicken and the other one got the steak with noodles. We ordered corporate catering from Teriyaki Madness today through ezCater, and the entire experience was excellent. The food was incredibly fresh, healthy, and delicious, with a great mixture that our team really enjoyed. The portion sizes were generous and delivered great value for the price. Our setup person today was outstanding. He was very friendly, professional, and took the time to explain all of the different sauces that came with the meal. He also mentioned that all of the food had been made fresh specifically for our event today, which we really appreciated. His service and demeanor made the experience even better, and we hope he receives recognition for the great job he did. I've done pickup several times and have taken advantage of free delivery on Tuesdays. I like spicy things and their spicy items are definitely spicy. If you don't like spicy, I recommend the Chicken Katsu which has lightly breaded pieces of chicken. The large bowls are big enough to share or make both a lunch and a dinner.
