My sister waited in line in NY to try this boba. I heard there were comparable lines when the LV one opened. Lines continue during quarantine (although, social distancing necessitated). I think the lines are absolutely worth it. This is not your average boba treat. This falls into the category of boba treat yoself level so meter your intake. This is a dessert, no doubt. But getting it more rarely makes it even more special. The #5 is really sweet, but not cloying. I usually get my boba half sweet, but the #5 doesn't come with that option and I'm very satisfied. Bobas big and small are both excellent texture with the right softness, chew and flavor. Great place for a decadent dessert. read more

Blink, and you will miss this place. I feel sorry for you if you do because the drinks here are our absolute favorite now. We got the black sugar boba milk with cream mousse and black sugar boba black tea latte with cream mousse. I found our first drink a little sweet for me though my son loved it. I preferred the black sugar boba with black tea more to my liking. It was smooth and tasted sooo good. Like I said it's our new favorite so we will be going back. I can't wait. read more

The line was LONG and waited for about 30 minutes to get our drinks, ordered 12 number 5's for a party and don't regret nothing! All I can say it, you'll be amazed. I'm not a fan of mini boba, but for some reason I wasn't annoyed with the tapioca pearls from here. The tapioca pearls wasn't too tough, chewy, or soft-- it was perfect! Whenever I go to boba shops, I'm not the type of person to order brown sugar milk teas, but this one was a great first try! I guess you can say I popped my "BROWN SUGAR MILK TEA" cherry at Tiger Sugar. LOL. I love how the cream compliments the brown sugar milk tea really well especially when you give your drink a good shake. I wish it wasn't just a one size though for the price of $5.50 excluding tax. Hear me out and please make multiple sizes!! Definitely coming back here for some brown sugar. There's so many boba tea shops opening in Las Vegas, it's mind blowing! I would rate this place a good 3.5 if I would, but for now I'll give it a 4. read more

I really enjoy t latcoshis brand when I had it in Taiwan. Main thing I enjoy about this brand is the boba is very 'Q' The style of the milk drink is similar to cereal milk. It taste like the milk after you ear cereal which is very yummy and delicious. I'm somewhat lactose intolerant so it can be a bit much for me. I opted to go with the latte tea route so it's easier in the stomach and still gives me the ability to get the boba. My friends went with the milk route and they seem eh about it There was a short line about 10 mins when we got there and the employee / staff got the orders out pretty quickly once we ordered Location is quite small, so very little sitting room, mainly for to go and not for in house drinking I highly recommend trying for the boba and the novelty of the brand. read more

Everyone has been telling me how much they love this boba spot, so I finally decided to try it. I ordered the mango sago as I prefer fruity boba drinks. It was so delicious. It tasted like fresh mango and not that fake mango flavor. My complaints are just that it was expensive and that they don't have a lot of fruit tea options. read more

My Goodness, this brown sugar boba tea is amazing. I am an avid fan of Brown Sugar Milk tea to begin with and believe I have had some pretty great tasting ones from several tea houses. But not like Tiger Sugar! The syrup they use here tastes so AMAZING and unique and so so bold and strong! It was perfectly milky and sweet and the boba was nice texture. Edit: 6/19/20 So I just found out that the drink I had had no tea in it and they use "black sugar" according to the owner as she reaches out to me to clarify! Either way, it had a unique taste which I enjoyed. I was recommended something to try later in their "Tea Latte" series for more of a "milk tea." Can't wait! Delicious! I generally like my milk tea with a stronger tea flavor than milk, but I really like the flavor of their pearls/boba with their milk. If you like your milk tea more milky this place is for you! It's something about the way their milk is flavored that makes it different from other "milky" teas. A lot of other milk teas I have straight up tastes like plain milk lol. First time I went I waited in line outside (COVID precautions) and the second time I ordered through Grubhub and I got to the place in 7-10 mins from when I ordered it and it was already done when I got there. So far service was quick and friendly the both times I went! Place small though so I'm pretty sure this place is mostly for take out to enjoy in your car or something. read more

Wow I haven't left a review in a while but I am always so bothered when I come in here. Their drinks are so good but their service sucks and I am convinced they put a self order iPad so they don't interact w their customers. Was asking questions about the menu-- which the girl Worker looked like she was hiding n did not want to interact. She looked at me annoyed and told me my answer like I was dumb. Here at around 8:19pm tonight. I always try to give it another chance cus like I said, drinks are hella good, but the drinks are not worth the bad service. Just driving through and came based on the reviews and that there isn't one in the OC. Asked for a recommendation and he said first timers should get Black Sugar Boba and Pearl with Cream Mousse (Signature #5) so I did and it did not disappoint. In general I love black or brown sugar flavors way and don't like regular white sugar as it's too sweet. This was perfectly sweet flavored. The boba was sweet and perfectly chewy and there were different sized bobas which I've never had and love! I would say this is comparable to my favorite boba drink from the Alley. read more

I've had this place on my list for a while, my typical boba spot was closed so I decided to give Tiger Sugar a go. First off, the parking lot was jam packed. It was noon on a weekday. Luckily there was an open spot right in front reserved for Tiger Sugar customers. So I definitely appreciated that. Walk in and I was the only customer. Cashier was friendly enough, but when I described what kind of drink I wanted/if they offered anything similar, I didn't really get a clear answer. I just looked at the menu and hoped for the best. Sadly the menu was kinda limited, but I really liked the availability of alternative milk options. The prices are a little higher here...but what can you do. Drinks came out pretty quickly and I was on my way. Flavor wise...my drink was ok. The boba was a great texture but tasted a little bland. It wasn't bad...but wasn't great. First time trying their milk tea and fell in love! I'm very picky with my bobas and I love how they put the regular pearls and a bunch of smaller ones. The texture is so good and delicious. Also, keep in mind that they don't ask for the level of sweetness of the drink and there's only one size. They make the boba warm at the bottom, so it's very delicious when it's mixed. I love milk tea when it's from Taiwan in the 90s. So, it usually means I don't like most of the hype "boba" teas that have been popping up. Most have been way too sweet, too powdery tasting, too meh, or just weird with a weird aftertaste. It doesn't spark joy when people ask me if I want some. But this place, however.... I mean, I got the OG Tiger Sugar but no boba (not a fan) with the milk foam. So I'll only speak to that. And wow. SO GOOD. I'm not a sweets person, but this was perfect. Consistency was great. The milky texture but not thick. The flavor is supreme - reminded me of being back in Taichung this is the drink I could keep drinking. This is the one I could see myself being "boba-obsessed" over. Boba and pearls are super chewy and fresh Egg custard taste much like a flan and a bit sweet, which fits the profile of the drinks Milk is fresh, and I guess adds a balance to all the sweetness For a change, try something other than their brown sugar drinks, although it won't look as pretty and taste as sugary, they are just as good! read more

I came here on their second day of opening. It seemed like a long wait because of the line outside, but I really only waited about 10 minutes plus another 5 waiting for my drink. I ordered the black sugar tea with pearls, boba, and cream mousse. The cashier informed me this was their signature drink. The pictures are deceiving to me because it seems like the drink is going to be super sweet, however it was the complete opposite. It just tasted like milk to me with barely any sweetness. While the boba texture was good (very soft and chewy), there was not much sweetness to it either. Maybe I'm in the minority here but Tiger Sugar was underwhelming. Were drinks good? Yes. Were the boba fresh? Yes. Was it any different than any other boba and milk tea places? Not at all. Even the menu tries very hard to seem expansive and large when there's very little differences in offerings. It wasn't bad. But it wouldn't be worth a second trip unless I'm already in the area, which works out for them because they are in a rather busy plaza. Overall, the experience was just that: underwhelmed. read more

#1 tiger sugar something. Don't remember the exact name but it looked like something I like from "the alley". Not what I was expecting but pretty good, except the boba/pearls were overcooked. My husband wanted his typical black milk tea with lychee jelly. These guys don't have lychee jelly. That's okay I understand, businesses carry different things! So opted out for a green tea with no sugar! The reason for 3 stars is because of the girl at the register. (Blonde hair girl) She had no personality.... like a robot. She shouldn't be in the front with that kind of vibe. Maybe because she's only used to dealing with Chinese and I'm not? Whatever it is, it made me feel not welcomed. Our favorite brown sugar boba in town. We live approximately 40 minutes away from china town, so when we visit, this is a must. The drinks are topped with mousse, but not too much which is our preference. Our usual orders are C1 and M1. The secret is to shake it before consuming, definitely helps mix all of the components of the drink and cool it down. The only down side to this establishment is the parking. Limit spaces and always busy on the weekends. This is also a grab and go type of business. No seating options available. read more

This is the first place I tried boba and I feel in love. Their boba is so fresh and flavorful. I ordered M1 with oat milk. They were very fast and accurate. The lobby area is small and can get crowded. Same thing with the parking lot it's a tight fit at times but so worth it. I always see the line in front of this store until today there was no line so I could have a chance to try out the drink. It looks sugary but not too sweet with the taste of coconut flan combined with different type of chewy boba which is very interesting. They got 1 size to order & no custom on the sugar. The tea series are non-dairy. The franchise do have soy milk items, and we are experimenting them. Eventually we will have the black sugar soy milk series.

That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
