I was really looking forward to working with Tiger. Brought my car there on a recommendation from a coworker. First time meeting, his approach was definitely nonchalant, to say the least. Good reviews and a love of the old school body shop gained my confidence, however. "$2500 to fix the dents, prime it twice, and get it ready for paint at another shop," was his quote. I would have to take any trim off myself and do a little of the light lifting. Not ideal, but as they say, 90% of the paint is in the prep. "Let me figure out all the rest of the moving pieces and talk to you again soon," I said. Fast forward 3 weeks. I've found a place to paint it, scheduled garage time to prep it myself, and am beginning to order the spare parts I head over back to Tiger's to pin down some specifics and get it on the schedule. It's 1pm. The door's is closed and no one looks to be around. I knock on the main garage, peek into the office window which is open. Nothing. I figure I'll call him to see if he's nearby but before I grab my phone, he emerges. "Tiger!" I say. He says he needs a moment, then returns a little bit later. For the next 10 minutes, we look over the car as if it's his first time seeing it. He listens to me, checks out the work, and then tells me $4K. "Last time you said $2500," I said. "I don't remember the last time." We go back and forth about the discrepanc\ car, and how he doesn't really want to do such a big job in the first place. I ask him if there's any way he could make the $2500 original quote work for him and he tells me not really. I don't know what happened on that first visit or what I said to get such a great price, but whatever it is, I must not have done the same thing this second time around. Long story short (and as any oldtimer will tell you): get it in writing and have a backup. Good luck! read more

3 words: affordable, quality, and fast! I needed to fix two dents in the back of my car. Took it to multiple body shops that told me the whole part needs to be replaced or will cost upwards of $1700 to massage out the dents. I couldn't afford the repair and let the rust settle in until my mom's friend recommended this place. He fixed it in 2 days, exactly matched the Mazda red pearl paint and it was so much cheaper than what I would've paid else where. From my experiences, I've come to learn that majority of body shops are bunch of scammers. They overcharge for what the job actually should cost. How do I know this? Simple. Tiger shows you what the price of the job is by taking you through the estimate, step-by-step. He prints off the estimate, and he even charged less than what it should have actually costs. To add on, I heard from a few people he finishes the job FAST. So an impatient person like me, was very grateful for his work. For Shay, really? Zip ties? If you're going to write a review, be accurate and not lowball a hard worker like Tiger. I know for damn sure he did NOT use zip ties to hold your car together. Who in the right mind would do such an absurd thing at a body shop. I would ignore Shay's review, most likely Tiger's competition who can't keep up. Would easily recommend. An unassuming place from outside on a sketchy strip of Aurora, but this guy knows his work, is reasonably priced and gets the job done when he says it will be ready. Also good at working with insurance companies. We had a Lyft driver turn in front of us and put a big dent in the front corner of our old Subaru Outback and break the fog light and it all looks just like it never happened. read more

He did some cosmetic work (various scratches, a few dents, and some missing pieces) on my 2017 Forester and now it looks like new! Tiger Auto Body was recommended to me by some friends (that were recommended by another friend) and I was very happy with the service and the quality of work. I had work done about a year ago on my VW Jetta and had 2 areas repaired. I had my right front quarter panel and lights repaired as well as my rear bumper which was hit many times by other parkers. The paint was well matched and the repairs were done well. I am still happy with the the quality of work a year later and meant to write a nice review sooner... Tiger is just very nice to work with and he's much reasonably priced than other shops in the area! NOTHING BUT THE BEST: TIGER'S AUTO BODY I have a 1994 Honda Passport, in excellent condition, and my son and I got in an accident. My insurance only covered the other party, since we were at fault. I thought the car might be totaled. The damage was that severe. I was devastated since I had purchased this car for my 17-year-old son to practice in for his driver's test. I recalled a small business nearby that I had recognized taking my daughter to Karate.
