I have been dying to try a good Philly cheese steak for a minute now…read more I've had 3 so far in my lifetime. The 1st one was nasty and it had ketchup on it! :p The 2nd one I had was when I was visiting a food market in Philly and it was a throw away after a few bites! This wass my 3rd Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and the best I've ever had! My companion was like she being Marisol the grill master at Penn Station didn't toast the bread! But it was good to me just like it was and cold! They said if the bread had been toasted then it would have been much better! I ordered mines with all the vegetables and provolone cheese! I figured I'd add mayo, mustard, tomato and pickles once I got home! But after the 1st bite it never got added! My sandwich was very tasty and full of flavors! I would have preferred that my vegetables were not chopped up, but it was still tasty! We also got a half gallon of the best lemonade I've ever tasted! And Marisol was nice enough to offer us some of the best chocolate chip cookies that I've ever eaten! I'm not a beef eater and I can honestly cross the Philly Cheese steak off my bucket list! Thank you Marisol for some of the best food that I've tasted! #pennstation #twolittleoldladies

The store had a…read morenice open interior, concrete floors, high ceilings, and the usual offerings of good sandwiches. Seating was at both high and low tables. Since you pretty much do everything yourself, service was just routine. They heat up most sandwiches and we enjoyed a couple of chicken-based sandwiches that were very nice. We also had a PB&J that sort of suffered being heated up ... don't think we'd do that one again. There is free parking for 90 minutes in a little attached multi-story garage, so everything was easy-peasy getting in. All in all very nice, and we would return.

I made an order online for Original Italian Sandwich ($10.09 prior to tax) and had selected the time to be picked up at 6:15 pm this past Friday night. I had my sandwich made on a multigrain bread and added roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts (for free, how awesome is that?) to the sandwich. The size of this sandwich is definitely enough to feed two people. This sandwich was quite loaded and definitely a little messy to eat but it was very delicious. My mom really enjoyed this sandwich (I let her have a bite and asked if she could eat the other half, lol. She really loves sandwiches too). When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee and also someone I suspect to be the manager. I was helped right away and was happy to find that my sandwich was ready for me when I came in (unlike my experience at the Uptown location). I was also thanked for coming in and wished for a great day when I left. This location is bigger than the Uptown location and the parking situation is much easier too. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular.

We decided on flights as a way to try out their beers and found out they do $1 off flights on Fridays so instead of $7, they were $6. That's a steal... up and charlotte they are charging $12-14 easily for the same flight. Everyone was super nice, both staff and other customers. It's dog friendly and they have treats behind the bar for their furry visitors and they know it! Great music. 90s movies playing. Seemed like they had a lineup of weekly events and discounts on a regular basis which is cool for those who live in the area. The beer was just so-so, I've definitely had better but it wasn't horribly undrinkable. My boyfriend and I like different types of beer... he is more of an IPA guy and I'm more of a lighter, fruity gal. Overall we felt like they were just very generic tasting. Nothing to write home about, but just fine for a Friday afternoon indulgence. They also have a coffee shop connected which makes sense as to why they have several coffee flavored beers, if that's your thing :) Overall the atmosphere, prices and friendliness of staff & customers were top notch! We weren't a huge fan of the beers, but we would definitely come back because of the overall experience and vibe we got!
