Classic Cheesy Chimichanga
Genevere S.

Was craving Mexican food and came across Tijuana flats. I haven't been there in years. Service was great and food was delicious. Loved the sauce bar with all different types of sauces from non spicy to super spicy. Flavors were great. Had a chimichanga and it was a big portion. Stuffed with barbacoa and a cheese. It was perfection! Also tried the desert pear agua Fresca and it was refreshing and not overly sweet.

Tasty Burrito, amazing service from Jade, and relax ambiance. If you are in theHunter's Creek area, stop by and enjoy the food, the service and the ambiance.

Dinning area.

Food had good flavors, great service! Although it is "walk up and order vibe" there was a great dinning presents! Team members and a manager came out and refilled our drinks, asked how the food tastes. This was our first experience! Great job helping me through the menu! I wish I knew chips came with the entrees, I would have gotten a side of queso and gauc! We will be back to the FLATS!

It's taco thursdaze! I Decided to come out to this location for their special today which is $7 burritos or bowls with a drink and chips ! It was really appetizing and delicious. Bowl features a great mix of rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, and whatever meat you would like. In this case I decided to get the chicken bowl and that hit the spot! Service was great as always, but maybe it's also because they know me since I'm there so often?! That should say something, but great employees and always give their best with quick and efficient service ! Environment is always so unique and music is always a vibe so I definitely recommend coming in for a taste of their deals! Highlight of this was definitely the chips with the smack my ass and call me sally sauce ! Great feature and addition to any chips or meals they serve there. Always makes everything sweet, savory, and delicious !

Yummm! I love Tijuana flats in hunters creek! The restaurant is always clean, the employees are always nice and friendly. The food comes out on time and hot. I love their chimichanga and their smothered burrito! Also I lovvvee their sauce bar, my favorite is smack my ass sally! So So Good!

Salad bowl with hot salsa - salad was good, black beans absolutely made the dish! Chicken was very mediocre and low quality. Margarita was okay but way too much salt on the sides. Okay! Here's all the (10+ salsas) *cracks knuckles* Smack my @ss and call me Sally (sweet chili hot sauce) Georgia peach and Vidali onion hot sauce Mofo'en sissy hot sauce Mae ploy sweet chili sauce Jason's mom sauce Don't be a chicken sh!t hot sauce Jessi's flaming fruit hot sauce Slap my @ss and call me Sally jalapeño hot sauce Slap my @ss habenero sauce Bee sting Smack my @ss and call me hot Sriracha Ocean deck rasta sauce Ogre sauce Mofo'en insane hot sauce Meh. I was going to rate each one but overall they weren't worth describing individually. The sweet chili ones were the only ones worth really having more than just a brief taste... The place was okay but how over the top all the dishes were calorie wise makes them lose another star.

I love literally everything that Tijuana Flats has to offer! I stopped by and got the Queso Blanco Carnitas Chimichanga with chips and salsa! I haven't had this yet so I was so excited to try it and now that I haven't tried it, im dreaming about it because it was soooo delicious! I also ordered a Mango White Claw to wash it down with! I didn't realize that they served beer and seltzers so that was exciting to know about! This Tijuana Flats is located in Hunters Creek plaza, it's super easy to get too and parking is easy! When I first walked in, I was greeted and I grabbed a menu to see what I wanted. The ambiance was great, they have a bunch of awesome paintings and gives off an almost cartoonish vibe! My favorite thing is that they have a Hot Sauce Bar with I think 15 different sauces! I always have to get the "Smack My Ass and Call Me Sally" sauce! Also, download the app so you can start getting points that go towards a free drinks, starters and entrees! I can't wait to come back!

3.75 stars! Visited for the first time last night and not bad. The young lady at the register was very friendly and our order came out fast. We enjoyed the chicken nachos and wings. I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the wings but they were actually pretty good! The nachos were average but tasty too. Unfortunately, they do not give you enough meat.. so idk if it's worth it. I did love the hot sauce bar with so many options! I'd visit again and try some different menu items :)

The food and service was good. They had enough parking in the front. It's nice to have your drink refill.

Hunter's Creek location. I usually never complain about this establishment, but today the service was a little off, several points to bring up, to begin with, I entered the establishment with my puppy, a hypoallergenic service dog, weighing at 7.5 lbs, which the staff seen upon my entry, clearly a lady that was sitting down with no more food on her plate stepped out of the restaurant to call management and complain about my puppy. After I paid, the manager approaches me with my food with distaste and states that the puppy cannot be in there unless he was a service dog because he Can in trouble with the department of health, which makes no sense. Lol. Usually I see people bring the lie pups in and sit in the same corner I sat in, especially with the heat we are currently experiencing. The way he approached my daughters and I did not make us feel comfortable and we're forced to have our lunch outside in our vehicle. If I would've known my puppy, regardless of being a certifying service dog, was not welcomed, I would've taken my money elsewhere!! But no, he waited for me to pay and to bring my food to the table to then tell us. Again, he saw us enter the establishment. And I refuse to put a jacket on my pup in this heat. A simple question upon entry would've sufficed and I would've provided his certification info. I will not be coming back in the future. At least not to this location. In addition, there are no signs posted anywhere. I've taken pictures to prove. In addition: I ordered three orders of chicken flautas and some of the flautas had no chicken in them, serves a spoon of guac and a spoon worth of pico de gallo.... This is never an issue.... Makes me wonder. I paid $35.65 for the poorest meal and portion and experience.

Flavor-wise its a 4 just because Tex Mex from Texas is too good. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are genuine and helpful. We got to-go today & our vegan burritos were made perfectly. If you dine in they will refill drinks and check if you need anything. Great price for the amount of food! Around $7/person and I believe you get chips with every entree. What's unique here is their sauces! They have a sauce bar with silly names. I took a pic of a couple sauces.

Tacos were on the greasy side. Yes larger than what you would get at taco bell but, with more grease. Nachos were plentiful nice amount of guacamole, Cheese and salsa. However the cheese was clumpy and it's more like a paste. Salsa tasted more like pasta sauce It had a sweetness to it. Quesadilla, we're okay not a lot of meat on them and About average size. The flavor of the Quesadilla weren't bad. No Utensils were, You have to ask for them. Someone did come over and ask if we needed any refills. That was a nice touch for a fast food place. They also had a hot sauce bar with a good amount to choose from, I never seen on like it. So if you are in a mode for Tacos it's not a bad choice. Ambiance was ok nothing over the top real casual

Although a little different in decor, every Chuy's has the hand painted swimming fish, the hubcap ceiling, and the shrine to Elvis which was a fixture of the original store. I had a great first Chuy's experience with my girlfriend Holly in Pembroke Pines. On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Winter Park we passed Chuy's in Lakeside Crossing and remembering how much I liked it, I suggested we dine here for dinner. In addition to the multiple dining rooms, they also have outside patio seating. We were seated in my favorite room, the dog one. If you bring in a picture of your pup you can get a free appetizer so the walls are covered with pictures of people's dogs. This room also worked out best for us because it had two TV's and we could watch the Super Bowl. We started off with their complimentary chips that come with a spicy salsa fresca and a Chuy's signature item, creamy jalapeño dressing. It started out as a dressing and it is now a dip with a following. You can even purchase it to take home with you. Two dips can never be enough so we also ordered the queso that is a beloved menu item for good reason. The menu has a number of Tex-Mex favorites like burritos, tacos, and fajitas. Chuy's is especially known for their large portions. They also make all of their own tortillas and sauces. You can customize how spicy you want your food by pepper choice and sauce. I ordered my favorite steak burrito with double rice, no beans. I replaced the spicy hatch chili sauce with the creamy deluxe tomatillo recommended by our server. It was chef's kiss. My daughter and her boyfriend said they really liked their food too and with the large portion size, ended up having leftovers to take home with them. I love the quirky decor, value, and tasty food. We were in the mood for filling meal with a casual vibe and Chuy's hit the spot.

I had my thoughts on the frozen raspberry margarita that I had the time before that was so delicious but unfortunately they did not have that flavor this time. I got the strawberry and lime frozen margaritas swirled together with a sugar rim. The margarita was pretty good. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. For an entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. This comes with rice and refried beans. When served, the entree came with 6 flautas which to me seemed like a decent portion. I was very disappointed though because there was barely any meat inside each one and I swear there was no cheese. Which cheese makes the dish. They were extremely dry and I only ate like 2. The rice and beans made up for the dish. I appreciate the salsa and chips that get brought out to each table.

The pros are the sauces. Chips come with a creamy tomatillo sauce that is amazing. Honestly, this sauce is the reason I know this restaurant. There is also a salsa with the right amount of kick to it. Even the creamy green chili sauce was a hit. The sauces are what makes it for me here. But there are cons. The menu is very limited both in options and in proteins. Most items come either chicken or ground beef. That's Taco Bell options! The menu is simply a two sided laminated sheet. The chicken enchilada I had was made good by the sauce. The chicken was bland. The rellano I had seemed over cooked and lacking in cheese. Again, I was scraping sauce to add to the rellano. Honestly, I would recommend for sitting at the bar and eating chips and dips and drinking margaritas more so than for a great Mexican meal.

This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. The restaurant itself is very nice inside clean, well designed, and has a welcoming atmosphere. There's also a parking garage nearby, which makes it convenient. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, and it took our server about 4 minutes to greet us. Once she did, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially since I have a shellfish allergy. That definitely stood out and made me feel comfortable dining there. They start you off with complimentary chips and dips, which were amazing and a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I ordered the chipotle queso enchiladas along with the Perfect Paloma. The drink lived up to its name it was refreshing, flavorful, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the supreme nachos, which were good overall, but the beans were a bit overpowering compared to the other toppings. As the restaurant started to get busier, things did slow down a bit, and the food took longer than expected because they were backed up. That said, our server continued to check in on us and kept a great attitude the entire time. When the enchiladas finally came out, they did not disappoint. The chipotle queso enchiladas were absolutely delicious full of flavor and definitely something I'd order again. The only downside was the rice, which was a little hard and not as enjoyable as the rest of the plate. We went in during Happy Hour expecting to sip a drink while we waited for food. Despite advertising Half Off Cocktails, when the server finally arrived we were informed that it only applied to about six margaritas on their menu, not 'cocktails' as advertised. We didn't complain to the server, as we assumed it wasn't his policy. Disappointing and misleading. We did end up ordering a variety of margaritas, which were disappointing to our crew for various reasons. Mine was acceptable but not exciting, though. I got the swirl with sangria. We checked in online and got the free 'guac'. I wish I'd snapped a photo, as it arrived without an attempt at presentation, just two scoops of mushed avocado on a plate. It needed more seasoning, which was unfortunate because there was no salt at our high top table. Nachos were decent, but soggy. I asked for extra jalapenos, which I did receive and they gave my plate more flavor. Service was fine. I felt bad that our server was both tending bar and taking orders as happy hour seemed to be a busier time for him. Overall, my experience was ho hum but my table partners were disappointed in the food, drinks, and experience. Hopefully yours is better than ours!
