We came here especially for their fresh oysters as we were trying different spots along the way. I'm a huge fan of oysters and boy, they did not disappoint. We also had the blackened snapper sandwich and grilled Mahi sandwich. Very fresh and tasty! The only place in the island that overcooked the mahi. Dry all the way through. It was not a good experience. On the opposite end the home cut fries we're not cooked all the way and served lukewarm . So they were mealy and unpleasant. I sampled 4-5 from different areas just to make sure and it was just bad. The yellow rice was tasteless but extremely sticky. It would stick to anything it touched like the bottom of the fork or my hand or just anything. It made me wonder if they put in an additive for it to Clump or just didn't wash the rice. That would explain the presentation, a giant half dome serving from a scoop. My wife really enjoyed the coleslaw and she absolutely loved the Key Lime colada drink . Otherwise it was just the worst dining that we've had in 5 days in Islamorada
