I had the volcano chick, and it was delicious. A spicy sauce with a very soft bun, I really enjoyed it. It doesn't have a true tiki atmosphere, it's more like a beachfront bar feel, but the many drinks are tiki traditional and phenomenal. Hurricanes, piña colada's, etc are all strong and tasty. You save a couple of bucks if you go during their happy hour which I believe is from 4 to 6 PM. The service was outstanding...Marissa...I'm talking about you...! She was wonderful with a great sense of humor. The only problem is that she's a One Direction fan (just joking, it's an inside joke). I came here last week for their Grinchmas overlay. The vibes were so fun for the Holiday season and they had so many specialty cocktails, just for Grinchmas! I had the Cindy Lou Who, which came in a sparkly snowglobe cup. It was so cute and was actually very well balanced. Not too sweet at all! I also tried the Grinch margarita, and it was really great! Rarely do i ever give a place 5 stars. But this joint, definitely deserves it! I wasn't really sure what to expect from here. It was around 630pm when i arrived and they had an outdoor patio, and indoor and bar seating. I chose the bar area to wait for my company, and took a look at the menu. The menu is impressive! You also cannot go wrong with a $5 chicken sandwich from Jacob's pickles!! It was so good. The ambiance definitely gave what it needed to give. I immediately fell in love with the style of the bar. The music was reggae/ Caribbean music which went well with the theme. The bar itself is gorgeous! They have seatings for 2 and if you come with a group, you can grab a table and couch in the back for your party to have a couple drinks and catch a vibe. The drinks are served in these cute tiki cups which look so fun when it comes to the table. I ordered the once upon a pond for my first drink... (i wanted the turtle but they were out of them for my order) but the drink presentation was still good. It tasted like a sex on the beach just stronger. So good. Then i ordered the cobras fang which had a shot of 151 on fire in a lime on top. They truly wowed me. Thats for sure! All in all 5/5 for this place. I will make the venture from Brooklyn on public transportation to come and bring my friends so we can add to the vibes. I love this.
