I went to the website and checked the "Deals" section. A large pepperoni pizza and a full order of Mojos were listed for $34.49. Then I went to "Build Your Own" and priced a large thin-crust pepperoni pizza with a full order of Mojos. Total: $34.54. That's right. The "deal" saves you five cents. A nickel. Apparently, in 2026, five cents now qualifies as a promotion. Either nobody bothered to compare the regular pricing before posting the "deal," or Shakey's genuinely believes customers should get excited about saving enough money to almost buy nothing. I was looking forward to revisiting a childhood favorite. Instead, I got a reminder that not every "deal" is actually a deal.

Every time I'm in the area my friends and I come here because the food is so good. We usually get the lasagna which is fantastic but this time I got pizza. The pizza is delicious. You don't need extra cheese because it comes with enough (see video). The wait staff are always nice and the restaurant itself is nice and clean.
