Im a Visually Influenced Foodie. Although their menu isn't very enticing the stores banners make up for it! :)

Hard to believe this place has been open for seven months and I hadn't heard about it until last week! So far what I've tried is Super Delicious! A +++ Can't wait to try some of their other offerings. :)

Escondido has way too many Starbucks, Car washes, and kabob shops. Luckily for Bros Kabob they're worth a visit. The food is good but the guy at the front should more welcoming. His daughter should be working as the cashier. - They specialize in chicken kabobs, duh.. - Portions are small when considering the price. - No soda machine.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place after noticing it earlier in the week, and it definitely did not disappoint! I really appreciate how family-oriented the business is--the gentleman who helped us provided excellent customer service. The food was fresh and bursting with flavor, and we absolutely loved everything on both plates. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot!

Newly opened and went to check it out. Tucked away in the corner. Basic entry nothing fancy with some seating. Very clean establishment! Menu was well lit and had a variety. We ordered the grilled chicken kabob plate. Drink options very limited. Lady behind the counter was very nice. Food was a large portion and came with chicken, rice, cucumber salad, fresh hummus and pita bread- all VERY good! Well flavored and filled you up. We will definitely return!! Bonus - customer service. A man behind the counter - walked over to open the door for a customer who placed a large order and had a child. Now that's an establishment that is warming and worth going to.

Saw a banner outside of the shopping center one day and had to stop and try this place out. I'm always looking for new Mediterranean places to check out and this was definitely a place I recommend! Service was a bit slow, but regardless still a pleasant experience. Ordered my usual chicken shawarma bowl thay I get at every Mediterranean place and it was so good! The bowl was packed with so many well balanced flavors, though no cucumbers. I probably should have ordered cucumbers, but didn't realize the listed did not include cucumbers in the bowl. The pickled turnips however were a great surprise. I've never had these before and they were amazing! It adds the same texture as cucumbers, with a pleasant twist. I did order a side of tzatziki sauce as the pepper sauce that came with the bowl was a bit spicy to me, and it worked just as well. Definitely recommend coming by if you like Mediterranean food and supporting small businesses!

BOMB FOOD great service and owner is mad chill. Food tastes fresh and comes out quick!

Best Mediterranean food I've had in a LONG time. Super clean taste, portions are very appropriate for a lunch meal. Their Hummus and Kefta Kabob were top tier. Needless to say we devoured every square inch of our plate. Glad Esco has a solid spot. Restaurant is very clean and sleek. Was not packed on a Sunday either.

This place is amazing! The grilled chicken kabob plate is so yummy And the hummus that comes with the plate is truly the best hummus I have ever had. Please come support this small business in Escondido. The owner is kind and even remember us when we came to visit the second time. Overall a great experience here.

This place just opened and the inside is clean and freshly remodeled but not very welcoming. There are a few tables but I recommend just taking it to go. There is no drink machine and there are very limited beverage options in a small cooler. No option for a water cup. We ordered a gyro wrap and a gyro plate. The man taking orders was really distracted and seemed disinterested in actually helping us. I originally wanted the chicken shawarma and they said they had just turned the chicken on and it would be 15 minutes until it was ready. I went with gyro meat because I didn't have much time to wait. Well the wait was over 30 minutes anyway. There was only one person taking and preparing orders and he seemed like he was in outer space. We also ordered fries and I asked for a side of feta with my plate. The fries were undercooked and soggy and a tiny portion. Very disappointing. They forgot the feta I ordered and when I asked him for it, he argued with me that I didn't order it. He finally gave me some but when I got home, discovered that they forgot my pita that was supposed to come with my plate. After all of this - the food was actually really good (besides the fries). I will go back in a couple months and give this place another shot because hopefully it is just new restaurant jitters. Some recommendations: 1. Either get a drink fountain or a well stocked beverage fridge with multiple options. 2. For a lunch rush, please have one person running the cash register and one person prepping orders. There were 7 people waiting for their food at noon - all of us waited over 30 minutes. 3. Pack the fries in a paper bag or some way that they don't immediately get steamed and soggy like they did in the plastic to go container. 4. Remove the 15%,20%, and 25% default tip prompt. For a counter service place that doesn't even have a drink machine, this is insane.

So I will first say that the prices are decent. The fries were $2 and crispy/fresh tasting so the portion felt fair. The chicken shawarma was really good with the rice and some of the spicy (tapatio?) sauce they give you. I really enjoyed the flavor. The rice by itself wasn't as moist as other middle eastern style rices that I've had. It did feel like the salad and hummus were not super fresh, but I still enjoyed them and ate it all. The service was fine. I didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. Hopefully they put some signs out for their grand opening. I think this spot has a lot of potential so I'll be returning to try other dishes! So happy to have Bros Kabob nearby!

It was detailed, simple to navigate, and made pickup super convenient. I'll admit, I get nervous trying new places because food is so expensive these days -- I hate spending money and being disappointed. I usually stick to my same go-to takeout spots, but my husband convinced me to give this place a try. I'm so glad we did! I ordered the gyro wrap with cucumbers, and it was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned for the price. I also loved that you can easily customize your order. The tzatziki was delicious -- not overly garlicky -- and they thoughtfully packed it on the side so the wrap didn't get soggy. Our order was ready on time, service was smooth, and everything tasted great. Such a great first impression! This is definitely going on my regular takeout list.

At first glance, we knew we were in for a true authentic and great meal when we saw other Persians dining at the restaurant ;D Vibes: Namino shares a parking lot with other food establishments but on a Tuesday afternoon, we didn't have trouble finding a spot. The restaurant gives a mom and pop vibe, where they warmly welcomed us in. I loved that the lady gave us a bell to ring when we're ready to order. There were more than a handful of 4 person tables available inside. No outdoor seats. The guy who took our order and served our food was welcoming and our food came out within 10 minutes. Food: -Beef Koobideh Kabob ($15.95): skewer of suuuper flavorful beef served on a bed of saffron rice with a side salad and half a roasted tomato. I saw one of the reviews here that said to put sumac powder on the rice-- thank you for that! I asked for tzatziki sauce on the side and it paired well with the kabob. -Beef Kabob Sandwich ($11.95): my husband ordered this and he loved it as well. If we weren't in a hurry to catch a movie, I would've loved to try the baklava. Overall: A great authentic Persian restaurant located in La Jolla. You won't be disappointed!

Namino, located in the holiday court lot (next to the Whole Foods plaza) is a small space looking like an east coast diner. They have a small menu and don't mind if you help yourself to drinks and a seat. The owner literally just told me to shout out my order when I was ready. No nonsense, quick, and it worked well. No complaints there. Service 9/10 Fesenjoon: That day's special. This dish is phenomenal and a hefty portion. The stew itself was not shy at all about flavor; an appreciable sweetness and tart flavor coming from pomegranate, an earthy blend of spices (for sure can taste bag and cinnamon as well as toasted walnuts. I'm sure there's more) and the chicken is clearly well seasoned. The stew itself is not to thin or thick, resembling a texture slightly thicker than a Japanese style curry. The specials are served with a side salad and saffron rice. The salad is dressed with a yogurt based dressing. Light and refreshing. Nothing surprising. The saffron rice is lightly seasoned with saffron, mostly white rice. The big kicker here is tableside condiments include sumac, and that is a huge bonus. Pour a liberal amount in your rice and thank me later. Gotta love a Persian restaurant with sumac! Food 9/10. The tea served is a spiced black I believe. May be an acquired tasted for those used to English breakfast. I'll definitely be back. Namino is great for a quick lunch and the food is fantastic. Hopefully I'll be able to try more of the menu soon!

And when food arrived, one of the items was wrong. My partner ordered chicken dish but got beef. We flagged this to our server (who was nowhere near to be found) and she seemed indifferent. After waiting for an hour for our food, we decided that we will just accept the what order this beef dish is because it was already 8pm and idea of having food at 9pm did not seem fun. Also it is worth mentioning that we ordered smoothies for our drinks. Server never asked us if there was any dietary restrictions and nowhere on the menu it was noted that fruit smoothies contain milk. Terrible times when you are lactose intolerant. I've had halal kabobs from restaurants all over SoCal and the country and this place is still my favorite. It's a great option for catering (I always get the family platter pictured) and this was my go to place when we lived nearby - the flavors are tasty but not too overpowering so it works for all guests no matter their spice preference. We still drive up to 30 mins to cater from here because the food is always so good and a reliable hit with any guests that we have over. FOOD: The meat is not just flavorful but most importantly, it's somehow always just so moist, so juicy, and so tender all the way through. And it's not just the meats - every item they serve is just really unexpectedly delicious. At most kabob places, the rice/pita/salad/hummus are just weak add ons to fill up the plate, but these items are always so delicious at Kabob House and you can always taste the flavor bursting in every item (my fav is the salad which has a lemon/vinegary kick to it that just elevates the meal). All the items on the menu are great, but my personal favorite is the salmon kabob (if you've never had a salmon kabob, do yourself a favor and try it out and at least add one skewer of it if you get a combo) - the owner recommended this to me years ago, and I've always added at least a couple skewers every time since - all my guests rave about it. SERVICE/AMBIANCE It's a small casual family owned restaurant and the service is always super friendly. You can see the food being made fresh behind the counter which shows their confidence - it's clear they take immense pride in the quality of all their items and are eager to share their food and Palestinian heritage. The price is also exceptional value for the quantity of food you get, especially compared to other similar restaurants. OVERALL: I will continue to eat from here and would highly recommend trying it out.
