My order was placed 7-17-25. Called customer service because package sitting in Bakersfield 5 days. Brittany told me it would take 4 weeks because it is a PO box. Then she sent me the attached photo. It states clearly AFO/FPO takes 4 weeks. Right underneath it it states it would be shipped FedEx Ground Economy and it would be 5-8 days. Today is the 30th of July and all customer service can do is make excuses for FedEx. Wasted over 45 minutes trying to get help from customer service. Won't be using Tilly's anymore. read more

Came in almost a week ago for back to school shopping with my stepson and had AMAZING service. Store was 30mins until closing and even though we were rushing to find clothes, the staff all kindly and patiently helped us find what we needed. Special shout out to Gavin who (even when we stayed past closing) was super helpful and kept checking in the back for items and a female coworker actually found the pants size we needed! Tilly's is pretty expensive, but has all the 'cool' brands any teen would want. The one item I'm excited about is their RSQ pants. My two boys are tall and skinny. I can find their pant size (30 by 34) in almost any of this brand's pants. Thank you! It's super hard to find this size in Levi's etc . . Their saving grace is the Tilly's App, where you're alerted on sales and your 'Tilly's Rewards' ($5 for every $150 spent). It's not much, but helps. It keeps us customers coming back. I got 2 pairs of RSQ's at the 'Buy One Get One 1/2 off'. This sale comes up every once in a while. You just got'a watch for it. read more

Poor customer service. Bad policies. The cashier neglected to remove security tags from my items, costing me another trip to the store. Rather than apologizing for my inconvenience, the manager hassled me, even after I made another $180 new purchases. My kids like their jeans, but the sloppy service and unfriendly policies aren't worth it. I have a stack of clothes I couldn't return because their timeframe is so short. I don't normally shop here, but stopped in since we were in the area. My PIC decided to look for tanks, and I looked around to see what cute tops were avail. The employees are friendly and offer their opinions should you ask for their advice. The chick who helped us was sweet and even offered to call another store to place my PIC's tank on hold for him for pick up the following morning. Great service by her! I did find some cute (conservative) tops and a belt that I ended up purchasing for $25! Otherwise, Tilly's is expensive for the type of clothes they offer. I think this place is awesome. They've got super nice fun fashion-y clothes here for the season's that are coming. Since we do live in san diego, there's not much difference in the clothes that come out season to season. anyways, their fashions and styles are so nice and "punk-ish" when it needs to be. This stores got a super nice and friendly staff that is willing to help out and be there when you need needs or a different size in shirts. I love to come here to get sunglasses. The employees are all friendly, they all greet you and they all ask if you need help! They have pretty much everything you need clothing wise. I was Christmas shopping and my last stop was Tilly's to look at novelty socks my daughters like. The store before was at Ulta and I bought mascaras there and combined them in a MAC bag with Mac mascaras. I had a total of 6 mascaras in a MAC bag. I went to Tilly's and they had a bunch of socks that I must've left my bag there to look at them.There were all different styles all mixed together. The next day I went and investigated with Tilly's and a young lady said she would check in the back for it. She was gone for a while before she returned and said she couldn't find anything. Meantime, while she was supposedly looking, a young male employee (seemed new) asked if I left it last night and I said yes. He definitely seemed to remember the bag, because he said a small cosmetic bag? He had a customer and we couldn't talk. This young woman never asked for my phone number in case someone else saw it and didn't seemed concerned at all. I came back the following day again and I made her take my info down. I'm positive it was left there and I told her they were Christmas gifts. Terrible to think there are dishonest employees working at this establishment and the owner should be aware of them. read more

I bought a Nixon Watch and before swiping my card, specifically asked the cashier if all sales are final on watches, and she said no, I can return it if needs be. Obviously she wasn't trying to rip me off she probably just didn't know better, so when I tried returning the watch the manager met my request with a look of disgust and said I can just get store credit at best. I'm fine with store credit, I just won't be spending it at this Tilly's in particular for obvious reasons. At some point they should probably clarify amongst their staff that watches cannot be returned. read more

Normally I receive good customer service here so I've never had complaints. Today, however was a different story. Nobody greeted me or asked me if I needed help. I was one of 3 customers in the store. The young cashier looked at me when I was ready to check out but kept folding tshirts. She finally came over to ring me up, didn't say hello or anything else to me. I had spent over 30 minutes picking out 2 shirts for my boys off the 2 for $30 tables. Both rang up at $19.99 so I asked. She said no, these are not on the 2 for $30 table. I offered to show her the stack of both shirts in that section but she refused. I finally told her to take the shirts off. She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes. She didn't say sorry or offer to go check (wasn't like they were busy). I shouldn't have completed my transaction at all, she was so rude but I NEEDED the pants I was purchasing for my son who's hard to buy for. I'd much rather give my money to Zumiez or even socalskateshop.com. They give good customer service and their prices are better. So long Tillys! Came in at 10ish on a night they close at 11:00. Selection was huge, and they had a few decent sale items for the Holidays. This spot is pretty big and the service isn't too bad. It's mostly kids hanging up clothes and asking if you're finding everything alright (and when you tell them no, they basically backtrack through every rack you just went through and I'm not in a mood to say out loud - DUH!), but for the most part, they're friendly, theres a good selection and the sale racks are usually stocked of good deals. I don't buy much from Tilly's, but every now and then I find a nice Jem (and her rockstars). read more

Finally San Diego was having nice weather for once this year when I visited. Of course on this trip I didn't pack shorts. After trying a couple other stores in this shopping area I found some deals here. I grabbed a bunch to try on. I was quickly set up with a fitting room. Worst experience here today!! I called ahead since this store is a ways away from my house. I called looking for a specific pair of sunglasses in shiny black. The guy checked and said "you're in luck" I have them here. He set them to the side for me and I let him know I was on my way. I get there and of course they aren't the gloss ones I needed they were the matte finish. His answer to me was "oh the tag says they are gloss"! Seriously, the tag? Can you not see in the case what the gloss looks like compared to the other ones? Of course as I'm getting ready to walk out, he says, "you can still order them online". Hmmmmm that was salt in my wound. I had to remind him the reason I called today was to pick them up and have them today....not order them online. Tillys will be hearing from me as well. Tillys has been an up and a down for me and has been forever. They have a great selection of clothes, and very great deals on clothes on occasion. Went in to my my pop something for his birthday, an employee Tyler helped me pick out something for him, but while we were doing so, every other worker kept pushing to help me, and it can get very annoying. This store is definently for skate and surf clothes fans. Clothes are a lot cheaper here then the other clothes stores nearby. It's a pretty big store and they have shoes, clothes and accesories. Most of the clothes are for teens or tweens but you can still find some cute stuff in here if you are into the surf/skate style. The sale racks are definently worth checking out. Today while shopping for my nephew a manager walked by me and I asked her to help me find an item but she gave me a brief answer where I could find him something and kept walking to the back room. Where do I start! The employees that work here are the best! They are so nice to everyone that walks in and out of that door. Their attitudes are very pleasing and they love to help. I will definately be going back! All the managers working (josh, kit, Ashely, Katelyn I believe) were polite . And the associates that work there ( Gianni , Jessica, Quinten , Matt, Mariah, max, Sally, victor, and a few more) were so helpful at choosing an outfit for my first day of school. It's ok. The clothes are nice, but they're always out of my sizes (XS) The service is ok too, but the employees can get kind of annoying after a while. Every 5 seconds they either ask if you need help, if you want to go in the dressing rooms, or tell you whats on sale. It's like, can I just shop with my friends and have alone time for at least 10 minutes? Great store. Buy most of my clothes here. They always have good coupons and discounts. Only complaint is that the people who work the checkout can be ditzy and their attention seems divided. Sometimes they have full conversations with people over their in-ear walkie-talkie's which have resulted in them charging me twice or not properly applying discounts. read more
