I am on a very important mission. During my time visiting my home of Buffalo New York I will be rating every Tim Hortons I go to. The first one did not disappoint. Here we are in beautiful East Aurora. Where we got at this place... A free doughnut! It's like the buffalo gods have smiled upon us. As a long time customer, I was shocked at the treatment I received today. I tried ordering the breakfast they are heavily promoting to be told they were out of hash browns at 5:45am. then I tried to order a large ice brew and was told they ran out of large cups. the bagels did order was cold and had cream cheese oozing out all over the wrapper. the staff was incredibly rude as well. I understand they are filming in town but to take out their frustration on a local because their manager didn't plan properly for staffing and products shocked me. needless to say, I'll wait the ten minutes it takes me on my commute to order at a different store. read more

THE RUDEST counter person EVER! I was having trouble negotiating the Tim Horton's app on my phone, the activated "offer" was not registering on my order. I realize it was only a $1 discount, but we only have the app for their promotions! When I asked her for help(it was 2:00 on a Monday afternoon- no one else waiting in line behind me), she rolled her eyes at me and said, "Well, it's just common sense!" and turned away. Tim Hortons is a Canadian based coffee/donut shop, which I enjoy stopping at for breakfast and lunch. Check out the website at http://www.timhortons.com Several coffee combo meals are offered here including donuts, muffins, bagels, yogurt, soups, breakfast sandwiches, and regular deli sandwiches (omn a chewy mini sub roll). They have my favorite French crueller and cream filled donuts. The coffee here is smooth and not too strong, served in a mug if dining in. The Chicken Noodle Soup is pretty good with bowtie pasta noodles, vegetables, & chicken in a savory broth. The sandwiches & bagels are toasted and made to order down the line beyond the registers. PARKING: The parking lot layout and access here can be a disaster especially when the drive thru lane wraps around the building & onto the street and cars are trapped in the spaces. Some folks park at the BK to avoid the mess, but there are signs forbidding it. read more

We stopped in here one morning, back in January, for some donuts and coffee. I used to spend a lot of time at Tim Hortons when I lived in Canada so I was really excited to find one here. The drive-thru is crazy because the parking lot is so small (and at the time Dunkin didn't have a drive-thru - not sure if that has changed since we were in town in January). We lucked out and got a parking spot pretty quickly though and went inside. They had a great selection of donuts and drinks. The drive thru is slow. Orders are frequently wrong. When mentioning missing items on a subsequent visit, they laughed... didn't offer to make it right at all. Coffee is made very inconsistent. A double double isn't the same each time. read more

Tim Horton's has good coffee, and they move their drive-thru lines along quickly, which is why I did not give one star. The food is another issue. I knew that Tim Horton's has always been very skimpy with cream cheese on their bagels, but my last visit took the skimping to a new extreme. The cream cheese center was paper-thin. You could literally see through the cream cheese because it was spread so thin. Come on guys! I'mma let you finish, but Tim Hortons is the greatest fast-food/doughnut joint OF ALL TIME. I, the world's biggest Puffalump fan, was in town because Fisher-Price is here, of course. While I didn't leave town with any new Puffys, I certainly left with a sixty-pack of Timbits. I tried the Timbits out after having Dunkin's Munchkins earlier that morning. The 'bits are fluffier, softer and all around better. My favorite is definitely the newest one with the strawberry glaze, but I still recommend getting a gigantic sampler pack because they're all good. Service here was your average smallish town fast-food staff: predominantly younger folks, and friendly. My boyfriend had a more complicated coffee order that confused the counter girl a bit, but that just meant he had to explain exactly what he wanted a little better. It gets slammed, and wait times can be a little longer, but dude, Timbits. Timbits are worth the wait. This one was relatively new and clean--even the bathrooms. Timmy's make decent road trip stops for a reason. Good munchies, good coffee...why don't we have these farther south, again?! read more

For a chain, I find all Tim Hortons to have pretty good coffee, and for that I really appreciate the fact that they are right down the street. The parking lot is a bit on the small side, and this is never more evident than in the morning when the drive through line is out on the street. That is usually because when you order they won't stop trying to upsale on EVERYTHING. No I don't want to change my order to dark roast. No I don't want a shot of pumpkin spice in my plain coffee. I'm from PA where we have and love our Wawa. I was starting my 6 hour trip home from NY and stopped in at this Tim Hortons location for breakfast. The parking is behind the store which I found strange and makes it so you have to cross the drive thru line to enter. Being from out of town I actually parked my car in one of the spots that gets blocked by the cars in the drive thru, something I didn't realize until I was trying to back out to leave. I was only the 2nd person in line when I entered so I was helped quickly. I got my meal (sausage, egg & cheese on a bagel, hash brown & coffee) to go and ate it in the car before getting in the road. I didn't expect the bagel to be toasted or toasted so much and I felt it made it hard to eat. The bagel was so much bigger than the sausage & egg patties and the hash brown was tasteless, I took one bite and decided it wasn't worth eating. I'm sure I'll come across a Tim Hortons at some point in the future and when I do I'll go for the donuts. read more

I typically enjoy Tim Horton's, but this time the service was slow and our orders were wrong. We pulled up to the drive through, and received the iced cappuccino we had ordered. Then we waited five minutes just to receive another iced cappuccino we hadn't ordered (because they forgot they gave the other one to us). Then we waited another 10 minutes and tapped on the window to see what the hold up was, and they replied with "we ran out of bacon," which they regretted to inform us 10 minutes prior. Not to mention by this point in time we were holding up traffic, out into the street. 5 minutes later they informed us that they were out of pretzel bagels and only had one plain bagel left so we had to change our order again. I come here just about every day before I go into work. And let me tell you, store manager Wendy does a fabulous job keeping her employees going. Now don't get me wrong, I have gone in certain times when it is absolute chaos with a drive through line that wraps around the building. Wendy is great at assisting her workers and keeping up the positive energy. Not a day goes by that she doesn't greet me with a smile and tell me to have a great day. She is really what I wish all Tim hortons locations had. A loyal, understanding, patient and high energy boss. She seriously makes a difference in my day and deserves more recognition. Also, if you are looking for the best iced coffee you have ever had make sure you ask for Brittany C. to make it for you. Brittany C. WORST...... Tim Hortons in area. I live in the village and will not go there because of the poor service. If you need a coffee you may get what you want maybe not. If you are going to order food forget it. This is one Tim Hortons which should be avoided. Customer service stinks, Food never prepared as ordered and workers are rude.
