I stopped in around 10:30AM, so everything should be fresh, right? I chose a patriotic donut because it was the Fourth of July after all. It was a plain donut with frosting and covered with red white and blue sprinkles. Very pretty, but very meh. It did not have the super soft texture of a Krispy Kreme doughnut. It tasted more like the donut you get in the Kroger bakery department, except these are $2.00 each. I will stick to bakery sweets from Trader Joe's across the street next time. This is by far the worst Tim Horton's in this area. Drive a little further to either the crooks or Pontiac location. My niece and I rolled in at 6:30am (they open at 6:00am) and were informed breakfast would be another 15 minutes. They got order wrong, but insisted they got it right--so I had to explain to them the sandwich I ordered came on an English muffin and when cashier tried to make it right by just giving me the wrap sandwich, I said I didn't want anything but she insisted I take it because it was already made and only charge me for the coffee I ordered. When I suggested they were just going to throw it out because it left the building, and I handled it; she said that they were not going to throw it out and they could do something with the sandwich instead. I have been to many Tim Hortons restaurants. Quality really varied by location and though one is literally on my path to work, I go out of my way for this one as of late. Dont let the fact it's in a gas station building fill you. This is separate Tim Hortons and regardless, both are nice places as the gas station is a large and we'll kept facility. At Tim Hortons here I find the food to be hot and prepared properly. I can't remember how many times over the years that the Farmer's Wrap with Bacon was mistakenly rung up wrong or made wrong. This facility has not made that error. Heck, they verify the food they drop off instead of shoving you out the door. The iced black tea also is good here. Clear, refreshing, and delicious. Lately my old Tim Hortons kept having iced tea that was so cloudy it looked like iced coffee.... Yuck! But do not be mistaken, this location is not plagued by such issues. Overall it's a great establishment. There seems to be a slight service difference between the men and women as all the women are really active and working hard but the two men I've seen and interacted with are a but more 'slow' or not paying attention. Still, no mistakes and I think everyone is trying. Much appreciated early in the morning. read more

I went in today to order 2 bagels, a very simple request that I've never had any problems with at past Tim Hortons. I'm a big fan and consistent supporter of the Tim Hortons brand, and it is disheartening to see a franchise owner throw the company name down the toilet so-to-speak. I was sitting at the closest table to the register and my name was not taken when ordering. I watched as multiple people walked up to get their orders after me and minded my own business because maybe they ordered online or something similar. 10 minutes go by and my food is still not up. I walked to the register to ask the clerk that took my order what happened, he made an excuse for his coworker not putting in the order and taking no responsibility. He then proceeded to tell us he just sold the last customer the bagel type that I ordered and they have no more bagels. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. I would have simply picked a different bagel. But before I could say anything the manager said that it was our fault because we weren't keeping an eye on the orders they were making and giving out. IM SORRY I didn't know my job was to make sure they were doing their job and I didn't know the customers had to inspect every order that comes off the line to check if it was mine. I assumed they would make eye contact, take my name, save my order on the side, etc. Essentially, be a service to the customers. Each time I've ordered apple fritters, bagels, coffee, etc it has been extremely fresh. The venue itself is very clean and fits perfectly on that corner. Service is as it should be, quick and easy.
