The coffee bun made here is essentially a Chinese bao. You can choose from a variety of toppings that add a bit of decadence - honey, Nutella, ice cream, fresh fruit, and more. I was taken back by the pricing which is double what I expected, but at the very least, you get freshly made quality buns to order. You can also order plain coffee buns which are a little more reasonable. The karak tea was my favorite thing here. Nice cafe! I've been to this Pappa Roti a few times now, and have always had a great visit. They have a wide range of items from sweet and savory snacks. My most recent visit was a few weeks ago while they had their collab with Kolachi and we ordered quite a few things! From the collab, we ordered the chicken roll, the beef roll, the vegetable samosas, and the chicken puff pastry. Everyone's favorites were the chicken roll and the puff pastry, they weren't too heavy but had great seasoning. You can't really go wrong with any of their signature buns that they have, my favorite being the nuts for nutella or the basca bun. I recommend eating it there or in the car if possible, it tastes best fresh! There's plenty of seating inside, which is nice because it gets busy quickly. It's nice treat. I usually get the karak tea and bun signature combo. The bun is simple but soft and buttery with nice crisped cinnamon sugary coating. The karak tea is heavy on the cardamom and spices so you need to enjoy that flavor to like it. Would definitely come again.
