Margherita pizza topped with green peppers and mushrooms
    Tim K.

Nothing says fine airport dining cuisine more then pizza! Facing a 4+ hour delay, it was time to eat. Everyone loves pizza and admittedly this looked pretty good, for "airport" pizza. Ordered a cheese pizza with mushroom and red peppers. Good to find out after you've paid for pizza that they're out of red peppers. Substituted the green, but not quite the same. A little skimpy on the toppings, considering you're getting hit pretty good with the price for them. Pizza comes out pretty quick, in about five minutes. It is decent tasting firewood pizza. You need to have them add more sauce, but otherwise it's not bad. They give you a fair amount of cheese, but is there any such thing as "too much cheese"?

Pizza takes only about 5 minutes for them to cook so it's a good option for those who don't have long before their next flight. Lots of seating with tables nearby. This place smells so good that it made me hungry while waiting for my flight. Excellent choice if you're in the mood for pizza.

Employees were so kind. They went out of their way to customize my breakfast to make it gluten free. Food was delicious too!

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

I ordered a Margherita pizza for $13 and was not disappointed. It is a personal size pizza with 6 slices. To be clear, the pizza is high quality with fluffy dough and flavorful tomato sauce. The basil leaves were generous. The only reason for 4 stars was that there was so little mozzarella on this guy! For the pricepoint, you'd hope for a bit more. The mozzarella also is self contained so when it's gone, you feel like you are eating a marinara pizza... which isn't fun. So if you are a cheese lover, would pass.

Ordered it as a quick snack to share because at 3 for $10 it's a pretty good price in this food hall. The service was fine, though a little slow. Wasn't sure if this was made on the spot or just heated up, but they seemed to struggle with the timing (it's quite charred), so I wouldn't recommend if you like charred. Also worth mentioning that calling this an "empanadas" is a bit of a stretch given it's made out of pizza dough rather than a crispier flaky dough. The brisket inside was very tasty (and the main thing I wanted to try as I know they collaborate with others on it), but the pineapple chutney sauce? Not what I expected. It was like a sweet curry with a pineapple aftertaste :/ I was definitely expecting a more tangy or spicy sauce to go with the brisket and felt the sauce was a miss.

On Mondays and Tuesdays they host Trivia. On Saturday nights they do karaoke. There's also two dart boards as well. It's a place you can go and vibe and wind down after a day at work. I usually am a regular as I go on Tuesdays for Trivia night. I like that the tables have QR codes codes so you can order directly from the table on your phone. Of course if you prefer the old-fashioned way, you can ways go to the cash register by the bar and place and order. I've had the pizza before and it rocks! My go-to is the pepperoni pizza or sometimes if the pizza of the month sounds good I'll get a few slices of that. The standard pizza is very NY-style. But they also have Detroit style which is pretty great as well. I've also tried the nachos, pretzel, French fries, chicken park sub, and the chicken tenders. But I gotta say I really enjoy the pizza at Quincy Hall the most!
