After driving by this place for the past 35 years, TODAY I finally stopped in to have one of my watch bands adjusted. Walking in I was blown away at how nice the place was set up, but most impressed with the immediate service. As my band was having a few links taken out, I browsed the inventory which was beautifully displayed, and found some clock collectables that grabbed my interest - The old school dual prop plane with a clock on the nose - Just had to have it!! My watch band was perfectly sized and I was generously THANKED for my business. They even put a new battery in my new plane clock and took the manufacture stickers off and polished it up for me. I had been on the hunt for a Seiko 7a38-7020/29 and finally found one on eBay. I took a leap of faith after reading about how great Time Center is at restorations. I went here for a no-frills battery exchange for 2 watches. I showed them the watches I had and they quickly changed out the battery and the leather strap I wanted to replace the tattered thin watch band I had. The owner brought out a couple of bands and quickly told me the price of each. If you're in a hurry and need a battery exchanged or a new watch strap, this is a nice place to patronize. Had another excellent experience at Time Center. I rarely write reviews, and only do so when the business goes above and beyond my expectations. I've gone to Time Center just a handful of times, and each time I'm pleasantly greeted by the watchmaker Chai's wife and/or their Saturday helper Rane. They have a good assortment of Seiko watches, amongst others. Their pricing is excellent, and Chai is a very stand up guy. He has done a great job overhauling a few of my vintage Seikos, and the staff makes sure you are well taken care of upon entering their store. I recently bought a vintage Seiko that needed repair. I had went to a different store (only because I had to go somewhere close to that location) and got a quote for $350. I went to Chai for a second opinion and told him the seller offered to pay up to $100 for the repair, because the watch had supposedly been serviced. After hearing my plight, Chai knocked $30 off his regular price of $150. I was simultaneously shocked and thankful, because I had not asked for a discount, nor was I expressing great concern about the original quote. Chai offered the discount simply because that is who he is, a great person with an even bigger heart. I cannot thank him enough. It's the little things in life, isn't it? Took my watch in for an adjustment. When he handed it back to me the link that was added was scuffed. I told him that it wasn't scuffed before. He said it wasn't him because he has a lot of experience. When I got home I examined the watch closely and realized he had installed the link upside down. So the underside of the link which is constantly rubbing against the steel clasp was on the outside and the unscuffed side of the link is now rubbing against the clasp. What a complete joke. I should have realized I should avoid this place when I parked and the young woman who parked next to me spits on the ground right in front of me before walking into the store. She then walks into the back of the store... possibly an employee or a family member? If these are the type of people they associate with I would avoid them at all costs. Don't take any nice watches there. read more

I've driven past this store for a number of years and finally decided to take my watch to get serviced. During my initial visit, I was welcomed and greeted by Rain and Dee. They were extremely welcoming and kind; they had a massive collection of seiko, casio and citizen watches. I came in to drop off my SKX007 for a full cleaning service and to get my bracelet resized. While the bracelet was getting resized, I was able to chat with the owners and they were very knowledgeable. After dropping it off, my watch was ready within a week! When we picked up the watch, I wanted to try on one of the Seiko Turtles since that's been on my radar. During this time, we got to speak with Dee and she made the whole fitting experience great. She is super genuine and we really appreciated how she made my fiancé and I feel. I've had experiences where store owners just want to get your watches checked in and will spare little to no words. We've also had experiences where we felt completely out of place. Since the moment we've walked in, I've felt like a long term customer! While trying on the turtles, the mini turtle, SPRG17, caught my eye. Once I put the watch on my wrist, it was a done deal. After a few searches my wife found Time Center which ended up being a gem. It's a small family owned store that's been there for 34 years but their selection is amazing! Most of the Seiko GMTs are sold out online but they had almost every single color! They also have a great selection of G-shock and Casio if you like those brands. Can't say enough about Dee! She was very kind and extremely helpful in the buying process. The watch ended up being a gift from the wifey but Dee was kind enough to wrap it up and put a bow on it for us for Christmas! Came in to have 3 of my watches serviced. Got a quote for two full services and one needed a battery. The old lady there was helping me and quoted $546. I said I have $500 cash even for all the repairs. She gladly accepted taking my watches with Cash. Then goes to the back room for a moment and proceeds to come back out front to ask me for more cash. WTH? I said no thanks and took back my cash and watches. Damn liar! She then says I owe $11.00 for one watches new battery. I paid $11.00 and left. 24 hours later, my battery stops and the watch is dead. Geeeez....! Screw this place. Save your time and money. I am so lit!!!!!!! read more

My late father's daily watch stopped working. I thought it was in need of a battery. After leaving it at another watch smith, he told me it wasn't the battery but a problem with the movement and it needed to be replaced. Found it hard to believe since the watch worked fine until his passing. Didn't know where to bring it for a second opinion so I put it on the back burner. Was doing some cleaning and came across his watch again. After speaking with my business partner, who is a vintage Seiko collector, he recommended I go to Time Center. Upon walking in, I was greeted immediately by a very friendly sale rep. She provided hand sanitizer and asked how she could be of assistance. I said I needed battery replacement. She notified me the price and that the watch would be placed in UV for sanitizing. They took back the watch and in 5 min another rep by the name of Pen came out and said your battery is good and the watch was just dirty inside. Our technician cleaned it and it seems to be working. Give it a try and see if it keeps the time well. If not, please come back and it will be in need of repair. I then asked how much I owed and she said no charge! Not only did they not charge me, but they brought back to life a sentimental watch that I can now use daily! Most places would say it needed repair or at the very least say they replaced the battery even though the original battery was good. Very hard to find honest businesses especially during these difficult times due to Covid-19. I will not hesitate to do business here for all my service needs. I have my eye on a Casio Gshock for surfing so I'll most certainly purchase it here. Masks are required and all staff wear PPE. HONESTY and excellent customer service are the reasons why they have been in business for 30 years. read more

I wouldn't have trusted any other watch shop to install the battery, due to the intricacies of the watch and how it needs to be put back together to guarantee water resistance. They did a quick yet thorough job. The watch face is way more legible and brighter, and I can enjoy this watch now. The case & band look brand new and the movement is running accurate, considering it is 40+ years old!
