I really liked this place! We came here because we were looking for something casual for dinner, so I was not at all expecting the beautiful patio area out back. Service was very fast. Cool space inside and out. Decent sized bar with giant TV's for multiple events. Daily specials with a Happy Hour to boot! Bartender was awesome. Super attentive and not rushed at all. She made the fastest margarita I have ever witnessed. Solid tap list and monthly food specials. I had mussels which were on the smaller side but delicious and a large portion for sharing, plus cauliflower tacos that were solid enough. Lots of pickled cabbage, so be prepared. Made a quick stop for a quick bite at Time Out after horseback riding this past Saturday 10/10/20. I was with a group of 4 and we requested outdoor seating. We sat for 10 minutes before any waitress helped us which I had initiated by asking a waitress passing by if she could find out who was taking care of our table. Of course the waitress I asked to help ended up with us. The girls I was with had been here before and ordered their staple dish. The chicken avocado melt. They're all crazy over avocado haha! I ordered the chicken salad BLT sammie. I've had better chicken salad. The fries that came with the sandwiches were lacking that crispy outside. They placed us in the second room away from everyone which was weird. But it was nice and quiet as the other bar room is loud and echos. They should have lowered the music since it was super loud and just us in the room. They have lots of TVs going on with different games. It took forever for us to get our food and they forgot some things. The staff was nice but didn't really seem to want to help each other out. To be honest, we had been to this little place years before in its first iteration as a French Country bistro--yes--they converted it to a sports bar. Still all the massive TV's couldn't hide the original scalloped ceiling, mahogany paneling, fire place and long bistro type bar. The disconnect in the environment with the french bistro original architecture everywhere and the sports flats and massive TV's and casual uniforms was jarring at best and comical at worst. Add the ear splitting soundtrack (impossible to talk at normal voice levels) and the environment was borderline "quick exit". The pub food product was standard area fare with some interesting additions. Hors of assorted dips were good and timing was prompt from the kitchen..though the server promptly forgot both our waters and one of our drink orders. The space was busy but not overwhelmed. No one was waiting for tables. For entree's my spouse received a flat bread pizza with brus sprouts which was sadly quite dry. When she mentioned that to the server and requested a small side of ranch dressing to accommodate the poorly prepared entree, the server rang in the request and, after 10 minutes, the back server delivered the plastic ramekin of ranch...to accompany the now cold flatbread. No apology was offered and the server did not check back. The one meal and lack of "fix" ruined our entire product experience which otherwise may have been positive. When we requested the check to leave, our server dropped the check quickly with nary a question of our visit. You guessed it...the plastic ramekin of Ranch dressing was charged $.75. When we informed our server that we thought it was silly to charge us $.75 for a ramekin of Ranch dressing because the entree was so dry, she dead-pan asked "Well..do you want me to take off the ranch charge?" Still no apology for the dry-as-a-bone flat bread. We paid the bill, short-tipped the server and left to compose a few choice comments on Yelp & Google about our experience. read more

We were enjoying talking to Lisa until another patron complained he had been waiting 30 minutes for his cheeseburger. It appeared to be a change of shift. We got the cheesesteak. The roll was interesting. We think it was a 'bake at home' roll. It had a very good crust but the bread was doughy. Very good amount and melt of cheese. I would have liked more meat. We have had mixed reviews of this place each time we've been- kinda hit or miss. However last night far exceeded any less than perfect experience. The bar wasn't too crowded, service was quick. My hubs had the mushroom Swiss burger which was very good. But I'm really here to talk about the BURRATA!!!! O. M. G.!!! It was so fresh, smith and creamy. The heirloom tomatoes were perfectly ripe and wonderfully marinated, the onions were extremely thinly sliced not to overwhelm the other flavors, the cukes were also thin so not too crunchy, the crostini was perfectly crunchy, the arugula was great and the balsamic was fantastic! I would like to start by saying I usually eat at fine restaurants which are very pricey and I have never had the service that I received at TimeOut Sports Bar in Skippack. The food was delicious and the service that me and my Friend received was above and beyond excellent. Our Server was Loula (AKA Lou) and she was amazing. She looked so young and I thought to myself.... she is too young to have that many years in the business. Love the outdoor seating. Service was good and friendly...except the crabby hostess who said nothing but "follow me" in a deadpan way that makes me think she aspires to work at the DMV. Food is what brought my rating down. "Carne asada" tacos were just flavorless flank steak...no seasoning. Others in my group had a decent salad and average chicken tenders/fries. Only really good item we had was the chicken avocado melt. Overall...what we had was average bar food. We are new to the area and were in the mood for a hearty burger. TimeOuts offerings fit in with what we were looking for so we got a order in for a door dash delivery on a Saturday night. All three burger orders were cooked perfectly to specifications. These Burgers were a hearty handful of meaty goodness. We gave the fries and onion rings a quick recrisp in the toaster oven and that worked out perfectly. All I can say is WTF. We went to the bar on the right side when you walk in. The bartender was horrible. The taller slender woman with a bun and tattoos. She broke at least 2 glasses under the tap. Resulting in her cutting her finger. Very rough with the drink glasses. She didnt have any Guinness glasses. We could care less, but I wonder why. She probably broke them all. She was putting glasses directly into the ice freezer without a scoop, including my glass. I previously served and this is a NO NO. This is how glass chips into ice. A huge liability. She was arrogant and had patience for only her regulars. I asked her if she had any speciality drinks or a drink menu to which she told me no. I checked out the other bar and they had seasonal drink special menus standing on each table. I have zero patience for low class staff and safety hazards. Would never return. Time out in Skippack is just what the area needed. Formally Brasserie 73, this newly renovated sports bar brings loads of fun to the popular Skippack Pike store front avenue. We wandered in around dinner time on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We were handed a buzzer and a wait time of 45 min but you can go to the bar and order a round while you wait. Hostesses were friendly but busy. The bartender was friendly she handed us a beer list and my husband choose the Warhorse IPA and I was happy that they had gluten free beer options. We were sent to our table at around 45 min. There are two dining areas as well as bar tables in the main bar area. Our dining space was wide open with a bar running along the left side of the dining area. The noise level was up there so this may not be a great option for a first date chat but it was fun for people watching . They do have outside seating with heat lamps but it was a blustery night so there were no takers. Our server greeted us right away and took drink orders. I opted for a dirty martini and they made it the way I like it. Happy girl here. For food my daughter ordered The Cure Burger which had a load of fries with it. It's a burger made with bacon, garlic aioli, fried egg, and onion ring. I had The Wedge Salad, and the hubby had Hot Buffalo Wings. We shared the Crispy Brussel Sprout app. All were really good. The wings could have been a little crispier because that's how we like them so just ask for them to be crispy if you order. The sauce was delish. My wedge salad was really good, huge full romaine bunch with pickled onions,blue cheese crumbles, and bacon...yum. If the food is good, they will come. I'll be coming back for sure. Wish I could write something about the food but we never got any. Was seated outside. Was there approximately 10 minutes with no one coming to our table. A couple was seated after us and a server waited on them before my wife and I. After another 10 minutes we went inside to the hostess and complained about the lack of attention. She came out and took a drink order. After another 10 minutes without getting our drinks and never seeing waitstaff, we left. It was a short walk down to Stray Dog where we were greeted immediately, seated, had a server in about 3 minutes, had great cocktails and delicious food. Will NOT go back Time Out. read more

I've been to Timeout about 3 times now and I have had a very good experience each time. They have a fantastic deal on Monday's where the wings are 50 cents each, so of course I had to try them out. They were all cooked perfectly and the variety of sauces they have make them even better (I would try honey garlic and mango habanero). The third time I went I got The Cure Burger and it was cooked perfectly. However, I would suggest getting a fountain drink because the water is awful. I know most of the servers personally and they are all very sweet and genuine people. If you are in the Skippack area and are looking for a pleasurable experience, then Timeout is the perfect place for you. read more

Welcome to an attempt to have a "bar" in Skippack. In place of the old Skippack Road-kill and the Brasserie -0-, an overly bright, sterile looking venue has taken over. Beers are OK, the bar food is OK, the almost empty, lack of customer base was surprising, and trying to determine which bar to sit at was the first decision of the evening. My college buddy and I chose the one with 6 people at the bar, the bar across the lobby was empty. We loved the bartender, Neil, I believe was his name. Not your typical Skippack, stuck up, nosey, thinking you are god's gift to servers like you will find at the Hotel Blowesole. He was genuine and nicer than the place itself. The wings and the french fries and the steak sandwich were very good. The pizza (Wednesday night special) was not. Plenty of TV's to watch, not too noisy to catch up with a friend, and cold beer. Zero stars. This place is not for black people. My friends took me out for my birthday. This is not my neighborhood. The customer service already started off mid. There were five of us. At some point the bartender decided to stop serving us. Her first story was that there was an incident at the bar where someone drank too and she couldn't serve us. Then the bartender said that there were 13 shots on our tab in the last hour and a half. Please do the math if there are 13 shots and five people. When all people are drinking. How is anyone intoxicated? Then she said that she could serve us drinks but no shots. At this point i didn't want to be there. Mean while, there were plenty other races around us ordering drinks.
