Nick, Brent, Tim (PTs) and Dave (OT) were EXCEPTIONAL. They were kind, compassionate, and truly caring. Their professionalism was above and beyond. They worked daily to help her regain her strength and mobility. Even when my mom was out of the therapy sessions , they went out of their way to check in on her and have conversations with her when she was in her room or the activity room. I could observe how they treated all of their patients with respect and genuine concern for their progress. For patients that are well enough to participate, the Activities Team had daily activities to help them pass the time. I can only pray that if my mom is in need of skilled nursing again that I could get her into ICH. I know having your loved ones in a rehab or skilled nursing facility can be scary but don't hesitate to put your trust in ICH!!

Mike Tanada, Director, is very knowledgeable, experienced and goes the extra mile for the patients and the family. He was in constant communication regarding the patient care, needs , and concerns. I transferred my Dad from a facility in Bellflower that was in no way comparable to the quality of service received and provided by La Verne Manor. It was a huge relief for our family. Claremont Manor is a special place which has the benefit of providing almost every kind of senior care & housing you could imagine. It is staffed by administrators who are friendly, caring and approachable. They and the auxiliary staff make our stay here happy and enjoyable. So much so that they made us feel more like friends than residents. The Manor offers great food, beautiful surroundings, interesting events, fun parties and outings to restaurants, shopping, museums& other places of interest near & far. In short, Claremont Manor is a wonderful place to live.

The grounds are well kept and everyone from the landscapers, the cleaners, to the medical personnel walking to and from are always so pleasant. They, as well as other residents, always seem to take a moment and give a friendly hello. From what I hear, the services provided by the Gardens fit the desires of our friends who reside here. Another wonderful plus is that the Gardens is a pet friendly community! It is certainly one of the friendliest, loveliest, all-inclusive retirement communities I have visited and they truly deserve their top ratings.

The nurse brought a cart of snacks and drinks while we waited for him to be transported. Then when he was rolled out, AccuCare draped him with the flag, as he was a WWII vet, and the staff lined up in the lobby to say goodbye. Once he was rolled out the community director explained to everyone who was a new employee that this is what they do to honor those who have passed, "When they come to us, they walk through the front door and they deserve the same respect when they leave." Truly amazing place. Thank you!

The staff, the nurse, and the sales director are all easy to contact and are very helpful. I am quite confident that my Mom is getting great care and is safe. She enjoys the daily activities and participates in them. They are a necessary diversion for her. The staff at The Terraces has made this a seamless transition for my Mom as she acclimates to her new surroundings. Thank you.

Ok, I've waited a few days to post this review, but after reading the 3 reviews before this, they…read moreare suspect at best. All made around the same time, and very little real info. We moved my mom into the Terraces, almost a year ago. When we first moved her in there, it seemed really nice, loving and dignified. The management and caregivers, really cared, and showed my Mother, so much love, and care. The place was clean, upbeat, and fun for the residence in their care. It stayed that way for about 8 months, and then suddenly, the executive director was fired, and shortly after that, the nurse on staff. I don't know why and can't speak to that, but both of them were very loving, and really cared about the residents. About 2 months later, Agemark brought in a new executive director, and that director brought in their own staff nurse. Suddenly, caregivers and staff members, were getting let go, or quitting in droves. All these fun, loving, and really caring people, were being replaced by people, that were just there to earn a paycheck. All the care, and love, that the residents were used to, was replaced with glorified baby sitters. I literally took a picture of 2 caregivers, sitting at a table, staring at their phones, while the residents were left on their own. Another time, a resident, who was in a wheel chair, had got up, and walked into the activity room, and fell and fractured her arm. All 3 caregivers on the floor, were in the elevator room, laughing about something. I literally had to scream for them, to come and help her. Some of the residents are left dirty and sitting in their own filth. There is also one resident that is hyper-aggressive and had literally attacked a few of the residents, and even 2 of the residents family members. This of course was reported to the executive director, who just said he has dementia, and there was nothing that could be done. He, should not be in this facility, and should be somewhere that he and others can be safe. The place has become very dirty and the cleaning has not been kept up. There are missing moldings, the curtains around the windows in the hallway were all taken down, and not replaced. The carpets all have spots, and the floor in the dining area, is sticky to walk on. I decided to call Agemark corporate, and let them know about the issues. They had no knowledge of any problems in the facility. Apparently, they were never reported. I also talked to the state, and found out that there are 2 open cases being investigated. We pay to have our relatives, cared for, with dignity and love, and under this new administration that has been replaced, and now it's all about the money. Luckily for us, we found a great new place, and moved my mom out of the Terraces. If you want your relative to be taken care of with care and dignity, then perhaps you will want to look elsewhere. I'm not saying that everything at the Terraces was horrible. There are some highlights: O.V. the chef, is amazing. He cooks with love, and makes sure that the residents, eat well. Some of the caregivers are there for the right reasons, and do care for the residents, and show them love. They are just overwhelmed, most of the time, and are treated badly, by the new management. This is a memory care facility, and most of the residents, need to be cared for with extra patience and love. They don't understand why they are there, and when I see caregivers getting annoyed or mad at residents, it just makes me sad for them and their families.
