Since it was a pre-op clearance, Mely performed an EKG with a portable device she could wheel into the examination room. Next Kylie, PA actually looked into my ears, mouth and felt my stomach which my doctor has never done. She went over my blood pressure, temperature and EKG readings and told me which meds to stop taking one week prior. She sent me down to the lab for blood and urine tests after. I was happy and impressed that both ladies were both kind, thorough and very pretty plus easy to talk to. I was told if I don't get a call, that's good news and I'm cleared for surgery.

Receptionists were patient and explained all the paperwork needed. I was screened by Mille, who was very professional and friendly. She asked about my symptoms and explained the test she would perform. I returned 40 min later as instructed for the test results. Dr. Gomez then spoke to me about my test results and my choices for medication or wait to see if I get better with the over the counter medications I was already taking. She was very kind, professional, and ensured my lungs were clear of congestion. She spoke in detail about my tests and ensured I didn't have any questions. she wrote a note for me to give to my employer as I would be out sick for 5 days. I appreciate her thinking about that as I may have forgotten to ask as I had a terrible headache. thank you to Dr Gomez, the nurse Dawn, and Mille for my care today what a wonderful team. also the waiting room was large enough so people were not in close proximity to each other. there were masks available and plenty of kleenex and hand sanitizer.

I went to check in and was told that the wait was around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. I said that's fine, I'll wait in my car and asked if I could get a phone call when it's my turn. The receptionist said they don't call people anymore and you have to wait in the waiting room. I decided to go home because my head was pounding and it felt like it was going to explode. I took a nap and decided to return around 6pm. I walked in and went to check in. The employees working at that time were extremely rude and said they weren't taking anyone at the moment. She said "Didn't you see the sign on the door?" I just walked out. I see why this place has so many bad reviews. The workers are super rude and the whole policy of sitting in the waiting room while sick, possibly exposing your germs to others is so inane. I would've preferred to go to straub Kapolei urgent care but I don't think I would've been able to handle the car ride. Straub or someone else needs to open another urgent care clinic in Ewa Beach cause this place ain't it.

Looked it up and sure enough... it's an easy process, could make a quick appt through the app or something even could be waitlisted if you want same day. I was able to get in the following day. A RN called me into the office and asked me some questions. After that, the Nurse Practitioner called me into another bigger office to check me out. I had clean ears after she checked and I had an ear infection. She prescribed me some me ear drops and I was on my merry way. Super convenient and easy. It was always crowded, super long wait and I barely understood the doctor. I finally took matters into my own hands, looked online and found Alohi Clinic. Although I can't speak from first hand experience with the appointment, my other half had no complaints. But what I can say is booking online was easy for me and when I had to adjust times, calling was just as easy. There is a code to get into the building, which they give you, and the waiting area is a good space nice cool and quiet. They offer services like facials, hair removal, etc. but they also are an internal medicine practice so you can come for normal PCP stuff. It's pretty great. The wait is quick, the front desk is friendly and the office is clean. So far it's been great with this clinic and I'm glad we found it.

From our very first visit, Dr. Coelho made us feel completely at ease. He's incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but what really stands out is the way he takes his time to explain everything clearly -- not just the "what," but the "why." You never feel rushed or like just another appointment on the schedule. There's something about the care he provides that feels personal and comforting -- almost like being "at home." That's hard to put into words, but it truly makes a difference. For the first time, I can honestly say I'll never dread going to see my primary care doctor again. If you're looking for a physician who combines professionalism, compassion, and genuine connection, I can't recommend Dr. Coelho at Alohi Clinic enough.

TMI, but haven't had a proper BM in 10 DAYS! Crazy, I know. So I called in to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in the next day. I've only had experience with closed systems, they have an open system here. Elizabeth was so generous and patient with answering all of my questions, I feel like I asked at least a dozen before we got started. The price was amazing, too! $75 for one ~45min session is such a steal (they were generous with the time for me, so thankful). Dr.George even came in and gave me an abdominal massage that I requested and taught me a little bit about colon anatomy which was very cool. The experience was VERY EFFECTIVE! Lots of surprises came out. If you're familiar with giving yourself an enema at home, it's a similar experience, except way more thorough. It's definitely more hands on as you're the one inserting the thing up in there and you get to control the water flow and even the temperature. There's a little buzzer if you need help and they check on you every once and a while. The space where the colonic happens is clean and cool. Instead of the white walls shown on their website, they were instead covered in a beautiful hand painted mural of nature scenery. There's also some anatomy posters on the door to look at if you get bored. Overall I had a great experience, by the end of the session I was in a way better mood, physically lighter, more flexible, my back pain and body aches were gone and I feel like I can eat again since the pipes are clean. They end the session off by sending you away with a couple probiotics to take to help reculture everything which I thought was super nice, too. I was joking with my friend that if my colon could sing it would be singing right now. Creepy or cute? I dunno. LOL. I'll be coming back for sure~ SALAMAT!

I would say the latest to go would probably be 3pm to be safe if you want to be seen. I went on a Sunday at 1 and they were all booked and they close at 4pm. If you are skeptical about here, don't be. It would be a good decision to go.

The last time I did a telehealth with him, our internet service went down after the first 30 seconds and I called him back immediately, but his nurse said "he's moved on to his next patient" and I got slapped with a co-payment/bill for that telehealth visit that didn't even happen! One of his APRNs prescribed an antibiotic meant for upper respiratory infections for my UTI - haiyaa! (Uncle Roger sound). I hope my PCP/APRN are not reading this, but if they are, they will know where I disappeared to, and it is here, my new medical home for non-emergencies! I still love them but I also love this place....a LOT. Access Medical Mililani is my new go-to place when I can no longer: 1) wait days/weeks for an appointment 2) suffer insanely 3) bear the thought of waiting 45 minutes to 1 hour or more in the waiting room to be seen by my PCP 4) bear the thought of driving in traffic going to the appointment, being stuck in a crowded paid parking lot with bad drivers, being stuck in traffic going home all while feeling sick 5) wonder how my PCP can diagnose me over the phone without checking my lungs, my ears, my throat. Both doctors took care of me on two separate occasions - in person! No telehealth Tom Foolery here. They were very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and kind. They explained everything in detail and I never felt rushed. I really appreciated their time in taking care of me. I was very grateful for this place and all doctors/workers that run this clinic. I overheard the receptionist say that they take Quest insurance, and that is great, because a lot of places will not take Quest. I know so many people that need help with Quest but they can't get seen. The name "Access" in Access Medical really is a great name for this place. I also love the fact that they charge you the co-payment right up front instead of having it to mail it by check weeks later, which is inconvenient to a procrastinator like myself who throws mail into a big pile without checking it for weeks. This place is super convenient, inside of Mililani Long's Town Center. Parking is free, zip in and out. It's a walk-in clinic only, so no appointment needed. I don't see people waiting too long to be seen. Shop at Long's while you get your RX filled out conveniently in the store. RETURN FACTOR: Don't want to have to look forward to going to a medical clinic anytime soon, but when I do, it will be Access Medical.
