I came on the Friday night for a girl's date night. We both loved it, it was a small mom and pop place. Busy busy. The wait was not bad and the service was super friendly. All the food was delicious. We shared the friend mozzarella and garlic cheese bread. Both appetizers were AMAZING! I had to get my normal go to, chicken alfredo fettuccine (wow, more sauce please)! After the horrible Time Square Deer Valley experience on father's day.We called Bell Road Time Square they were awesome they took our father's day order for 10 pastas gave the Best customer experience. Food was Delicious!!!. They even helped carry out the large to go order. The manager on Bell should teach Deer Valley hanging up on customers ruins customer relations. read more

Had their cod fish fry with coated French fries. The cod was tasteless. And the fries had that flour coating on them. So we were disappointed. But what really made things frustrating is that nothing is said that they are going to charge you $2 more because you are using your debit card. Pretty sneaky! If the waitress would have said something first, at least we could have made a decision to pay cash. I figured the 4% charge that supposedly Visa & Mastercard charges the establishment but when I figured the amount , it should have been $1.76! So where is those extra coins going?! Have been here for dinner first time for breakfast. The food is amazing as is the large selection and big menu. The service was great waitress very professional and spot on. Only complaint I have is the owner is understaffing. The place was full and only 2 waitresses not fair to the customers nor the waitresses. There was a younger woman that was I think the person that seat you. But could have pitched in. Again only complaint understaffing 2 waitresses running all over great job. read more

Really good food and atmosphere here! My parents took me here because of all the great times they gave experienced here. We walked in, got seated right away which was really great considering it was 5:30 and was starting to get busy. Waitress Dani came over and she was sweet and quick, great personality as well. Got the Mediterranean mule and it was great. Fried Mozzarella for an appetizer and I got gnocchi for myself. Omg it was amazing gnocchi! I ordered the Linguini E Vongole Bianco and my friend the Lasagna Casalinga, all our food was delicious and the service was excellent, I also have the Lemoncello and it was right on point, the place is nicely decorated with a NY theme and they have a full bar. New location one of my favorite Italian places to eat. I've had some great dishes here. But I can honestly say the Pasta Giovanni wasn't one of them unfortunately. It just wasn't my thing. I took my mom and she had the Fettuccine Spinach, which she thought was a little dry. I think she's used to pasta drowning in sauce. The Fettuccine Spinach wasn't a dish for that it based with olive oil, the flavors and fresh taste are supposed to be brought in with the spinach and the sun-dried tomato, which I understood. Review based on breakfast only! While it's an Italian restaurant, all the options were traditional breakfast options - think simpler version of IHOP. The food was good for sure, but there's plenty of options for anyone to pick from and the service was great. Friendly staff and helpful, coffee was never empty and they filled our cups several times during the meal. I had the Spanish omelet which was a great vegetarian option, home style fries, that came with a side of toast or English muffin - nice touch! The potatoes were well cooked just lacked a bit of season or maybe just salt. The omelet had just the right amount veggies in it and topped with cheese. Overall a nice place to stop for a good breakfast and great service. There was no wait and food came out really fast, huge plus! read more

Very disappointed we have been here several times and not had any issues but today was different. We both ordered a Stromboli, what we received was two toasted cheese sandwiches with maranera sauce. It was supposed to be 2 cheeses and 3 meats. We told the waitress who was a very nice pleasant girl, but no visit from management to address our concerns. After charging us 28.00$ for two then the add another 2.00 for paying with a credit card. Most people don't carry cash and live on electronic payment. I still gave over 20% tip because it's not the waitresses fault, but I did leave a little note on the bill with our concerns. read more

We used to go to the location on 7th st and union hills. I was a broke single mom and every payday I would take my son here for 1.50 pizza slices and a water. Even if it was after the pizza slice serving time they would let me order if they still had slices, they treated us like we were spending $100's. They had a drawer of blow pops and would give my son one. I'd leave a $20 because I didn't want to waste their table on a $3 check and they were the highlight of our week. I can't tell you anything about what it tasted like because I don't remember, I just remember the way the staff made you feel like a million dollars. read more

Horrible experience with this establishment. Bought a $50 gift card during breakfast with a really cool server. Came to use it like 2 weeks later and I was told there was $0 on it, when I paid for it during breakfast on another day. They did a so called "investigation" and told me I "paid $40 so there was $40 on the gift card". Okay, whatever I lost $10 but I'll take it. Went to try to redeem it. Was yelled at and was told we're liars. Ended up paying my takeout order. Will never be back. We felt discriminated against. It's a shame as we heard good things about the food prior but all we have is a bad taste for this establishment! Hope you do better next time. I also hope no one else experiences what we did. This is the second time I have been to Times Square. I have been disappointed 2 times. First they gave us a very wobley table and we could not be sitted at a booth as they said it was reserved for larger groups. Their tables are so small it was hard to eat that way. The pizza was good per my husband but I thought not. Salad was way expensive for a bag of awful a with a few onions an 2 tomatoes. 12.00 dollars for it then they charged me .50 for a dressing as the Italian dressing was so bitter. The glass of wine was half full.$8.00. Total bill for pizza,salad for two, half glasses wine and 2 canolies those were 16.00. Total bill was 70.00 plus 10.00 tip. 80.00 total. I cook Italian so I am fussy but I will not be going back. The location in Litchfield park location was quite different in salad and food. I think I would rather cook it myself!! read more

At first, I was suspicious of an Italian restaurant that served American breakfast foods, but I decided to give it a try for dinner. My go-to dish by which I judge an Italian restaurant is eggplant parm, and this did not disappoint. It wasn't those defrosted commercial rounds of eggplant that you find at many places, this was the"real deal." The several layers of eggplant, cheese, and sauce were proportionally well-balanced, and the sauce was tasty. The dish came with a large side order of spaghetti and a long slab of garlic bread. It was a huge portion, enough for at least two meals for me. The dinner salad was fine. It was not included in the meal, and I won't order it again because the main course portion was so large. I went to dinner on the early side on a week day; there were plenty of empty tables, and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. I will return. read more

I've been to multiple locations and this place stands with all of them. Picked up 2 orders of littleneck clams for tonight and a meat ravioli for tomorrow. So far, no complaints. AND its like 7 blocks away from us so no more cross town traffic at dinner! The dining room is small so plan accordingly, Welcome to the west side boys n girls. Oh and have your phone answerers familiar with the "online lingo like "steamers" aware of the diffs between what your printed menus say vs online..." Clams in white wine sauce were xlnt. I love this place. Always friendly staff. My grandparents and I used to go here all the time-they still remember our orders even though we aren't able to go nearly as much. Their lunch specials are amazing, with your choice of pizza or pasta, salad, and a drink for less than $15. It looks like New York in there and is always clean. read more

I go to the one in Litchfield regularly, but met up with some friends at this location for brunch. I was not impressed, and was sorry I introduced my friends to this place. One particular friend got the French toast breakfast. It was one piece of bread, cut in half! Not even a Texas toast, but regular bread. Like it was a kids meal... who eats one piece of bread as French toast for breakfast? A regular egg breakfast comes with 2 slices of toast, but really? One piece... we were shocked (and laughed..) Definitely not going back here. If you have a choice on location, go to Litchfield. read more

First off, I've reviewed the place before, and THIS time it was different. Our party was 6. We started with 3 orders of clams in white wine & garlic...rubbery and dry. Swimming in juice, even though the clams themselves were overcooked. That's a first. No garlic bread was served with them, even though it's included. One party had to go get it...not a good look, considering the staff knows us. There were ZERO drink refills and 2 of our party, who were parents that we had raved to about this place for years only to eat two clams, out of 3 dozen. He had to ask twice for an NA beer. Not a good first impression. Mind you his whole fam throws extravagant NYE parties, and they have exacting standards to say the least. They are not easy to impress and eating 2 or 3 wings out of 10 was a no-go. Between 2 of them!! Next up, 2 kinds of veal, which was decent. His parents had wings and ate one apiece. Not good, again. We ordered a bottle of wine, but no water or iced tea was refilled, we were okay with refilling our own wines, from the bottle. The ladies split a caprese and a philly cheesesteak. Caprese was anemic. Tomatoes unripe. eggplant overcooked. We didn't' bother to order dessert, we paid the bill and bailed. Like I said, we've never had a bad experience here before, so not sure what this evening was all about...we'll go again when they are back in town next year, without the parents. read more

We arrived around 6:30 tonight and were seated by a busser at a high top in the bar for some reason, instead of the regular restaurant table/booth side. Not a huge deal, but they didn't ask us if we wanted to be seated in the bar. Our experience with our server ended up being odd the whole time. Not sure how to sum it up any other way. She wasn't working behind the bar, I think her section was on the restaurant side and she just ended up being assigned our table in the bar too? The actual bartender ended up taking care of us half the time since it took awhile to be greeted by our server initially and then took longer for our server to bring drinks. The bartender also was the one to bring us our meals. We definitely felt forgotten by our server several times. Probably wouldn't have happened if we would have just been sat in the regular restaurant side. We were in there for over an hour and a half which was nuts considering how dead it was. Our server seemed extremely new to the industry, I will just say that. We typically visit the deer valley location but were in the neighborhood of this location tonight. The actual bartender here was awesome and helpful, I have to add that in. She has waited on us many times before at the deer valley location over the past 15 years. Just not sure about our actual server tonight. Will probably only go to the other location from now on. read more
