I was kinda out by the countryside and we ended up picking Italian food to eat and Bella Mia popped up so we went! We got seated pretty quickly and we got their spinach stuffed shells and their cheese ravioli and a bruschetta for an appetizer. The presentation was fairly lackluster all the way throughout, I mean none of the food looked necessarily appetizing when it came out. But I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover! The food was okay. The pastas were pretty overcooked and were fairly chewy and honestly tasted frozen. The sauce wasn't savory. And it just didn't reflect the prices I paid. So, so good!! I've had takeout delivered several times before but I have never been inside the restaurant before now. It's a cute little place. We were greeted right away by a very friendly face, and she immediately asked if we needed a booster seat for the little one with us, and also offered us some stickers! Of course we love stickers so we said yes, but we were shocked when she brought out a whole box of them! We had so much fun while waiting for our food going through the huge variety of stickers. It's a perfect idea for entertaining young kids, so I would say this is a great spot for families to come. Our food didn't take long at all and as usual, it was amazing. I usually only eat half of a sandwich, but it was so good I finished the whole thing. No regrets. What a wonderful little Italian restaurant in southeast Greensboro! Everything is made fresh to order. I had their pizza and it was sensational. Thin crust that was crispy without being burned. We stop by Bella Mia Pizza the other night when the kids had an event to go to at Southeast high school. The inside was quaint. There were two waitresses both who worked all the tables and were friendly and very responsive. The inside look like an Italian restaurant with Italy scenes. I've eaten here a few times prior and loved it. So I took my husband tonight. I ordered a half beef and half chicken. It came on a tomato base that tasted like watered down cambells tomato soup.... With limited options for takeout dinner in our neck of the woods, Bella Mia is a solid option when I need to pick up a meal on my way home. The food is consistent 1 you know what you're getting and it doesn't change based on the day of the week. We also dine in about once a month. It's a mix of booths and tables inside. We like to sit in the booths closest to the takeout window so that way the waitresses can glance to see if you need anything without having to make a trip around the counter. Service for dine-in is good, and I love that they have crayons and coloring pages for the kids. read more

Many good choices on the menu. Just don't order the grilled chicken salad. The chicken has no taste and was cold. Specifically asked the if they served it warm. I don't know if it frozen but I don't recommend it. We did not touch the chicken. The Stromboli was Perfect! 5 stars for it. read more

This was our first time here. It was a splurge for my Beautiful Bride. And there will be more visits in the future. They were very busy but a few two person tables were available. We were promptly seated and drink orders taken. The restaurant was clean, the men's bathroom was also clean. Paula (I think) was our waitress and took great care of us. We ordered the Bella Mia Supreme with Sicilian crust. Added black olives in place of green pepper. We also got the floppy chips with cheese and bacon for an appetizer. (I forgot picture) Jose was the chef on duty and did a great job. Our pizza was perfectly cooked, good amount of toppings and sauces and the crust was crisp but not overdone. We also ordered a pizza to go for MIL for supper. She likes veggie pizzas so we ordered the La Greca That pizza was also awesome. Reheat in an air fryer and you are just like out of the pizza oven. Most of the time the food is great. We live only a few mile from them and order food or dine inside often until recently. My wife likes the spinach & cheese calzone. About every other time she orders it, it has very little spinach in it or it's all on one end. Our last takeout order she asked them to please make sure that there was enough spinach in it. When we brought it home there wasn't very much it it. This is the 3rd time this has happened. It seams like when we ask for it be made correctly thay half a## it. Probably won't be back. That's sad because we don't mind paying the high price for there food when it's good. read more

Hi, we had one of our worst food experiences at Bella Mia, let me start by saying the customer service was good. We had issues with the food, we called in a pickup order, when we got home we did have everything that we ordered. The 1st was a Greek Salad but the dressing was not an authentic dressing as I have received in the past. (we have ordered here a couple of times but this is our 1st review, previous orders were just satisfactory so we tried again before we decide not to order again from here) We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, we did receive 2 flavorless meatballs of decent size but a very excessive amount of pasta and very little sauce then to top it off the sauce was horrible, no flavor except for the scorched flavor, very bad. Finally we ordered some soup, Original Recipe Pasta Fagioli Soup, it stated it was homemade so It should have been delicious. Horrible, Overcook pasta noodles of many kind, very few beans and very very bland, the "rich and spicy broth" was horrible and anything but spicy. read more

If you could give this place less than 1star I would. My wife ordered the combo pasta and the spaghetti bolognaise with meat balls for my birthday. We live 10 minutes from the restauram'y. When she got here the entire meal was cold. The bolonaise was a tin full of noodle and a very thin coating of meat sauce. There Was so little sauce I had to open some up and tomato sauce to it.
